For the Disney100 80s Decades Collection, we get a double feature of Chip ‘n Dale’s Rescue Rangers merchandise. And the diminutive detective duo is joined by characters from Oliver & Company, The Black Cauldron, and Who Framed Roger Rabbit? Let’s take a look!
How to Buy the Disney100 Decades 80s Collection
This collection launches on shopDisney on August 21 at 8am Pacific. Guests to Disney Parks will find these items in select stores on the same day.
What is the Disney100 Decades Collection?
The Disney100 Decades Collection is a series of monthly merchandise collections created for the Disney 100 Years of Wonder Celebration (AKA Disney100). Each month explores different eras of The Walt Disney Studios, starting with February’s 20s Collection (The Walt Disney Studios was founded in 1923), featuring merchandise inspired by Disney productions from that time.
And with that, here’s the Disney100 Decades 80s Collection!
Chip ‘n Dale’s Rescue Rangers Loungefly Mini Backpack $88)
Kids of the “Disney Afternoon” generation (or Disney+ subscribers) are no doubt already hearing the catchy cartoon show’s intro theme song in their heads after taking a look a this Loungefly mini backpack shaped like the Rescue Ranger’s makeshift hot air balloon. Gadget, joined by Zipper, Chip, Dale, and Monterey Jack, are stationed at the helm, which also serves as the front zippered pocket.

The balloon’s wings stick out from the sides of the backpack. And other details like the Rescue Ranger emblem below the wings and art depicting the tail end of the vessel on the back of the bag round out the look.

The Rescue Ranger logo also makes an appearance on the print used for the backpack’s lining.

Chip ‘n Dale’s Rescue Rangers Ear Headband ($39.99)
If you’ve seen promotional art for Chip ‘n Dale’s Rescue Rangers back in the day, then this ear headband’s clever design should look familiar. Chip stands, poised for action, next to the Rescue Rangers logo embroidered on the left ear, while Dale peers curiously through the magnifying glass that serves as the right ear.

Gadget and Zipper look on from the back. Interestingly, Monterey Jack is missing from this accessory.

And the metal Disney100 Decades tag is sewn to one side of the band.

Oliver & Company Plush Set ($39.99)
Toy enthusiasts will be excited to see these plushes of Dodger and Oliver. The furry pair have film-accurate faces with embroidered eyes and other details and look ever-so-cuddly.

Like the other plushes from previous Disney100 Decades Collections, Dodger and Oliver come packaged in labeled storage bag.

The Black Cauldron MagicBand+ ($64.99)
The terrifying Horned King from The Black Cauldron is revived on this limited-edition MagicBand+. Portrayed in a sketch art style (or perhaps concept art?), the menacing monarch is featured on both the MagicBand+’s puck and band.

You’ll find Gurgi on the band as well.

Who Framed Roger Rabbit? Trading Pin ($21.99)
Roger Rabbit’s zany energy is captured in this limited-release trading pin. The bricks from the wall that go flying as Roger Rabbit bursts through are a pin-on-pin element, fittingly adding an extra layer of dimension to the ground-breaking character.
