The reinvention of Downtown Disney continues at full throttle—and the latest round of announcements adds even more variety to the district’s growing lineup of shops and eateries. Hot on the heels of new openings like Parkside Market, Avengers Reserve, and Disney Wonderful World of Sweets, Disney has confirmed three more additions: Lululemon, Nectar Life, and Bopo Go!
That’s designer workout wear, handcrafted bath treats, and artisan boba tea—three very different flavors, all on the way. Here’s what’s coming next to Downtown Disney. There’s a little something for everyone…
Lululemon Coming Soon to Downtown Disney
The stretchy-pants empire is heading to the former ESPN Zone building, bringing their signature lineup of yoga pants, training gear, and motivational water bottles. If you’ve ever felt the urge to drop $98 on leggings after a churro binge, you’re in luck. The new shop will carry athletic wear and accessories for everything from tennis and golf to… power-walking from Trader Sam’s to Mickey’s ToonTown.

No opening date has been shared yet, but the location is well under way.
Nectar Life Custom Soaps and Bath Treats
As we reported earlier today, handcrafted bath brand Nectar Life will soon lather up Downtown Disney with a pop-up coming this spring, followed by a full storefront later this year near Avengers Reserve. The real draw? Their DIY customization bars—where you can create whipped soaps, milkshake bath soaks, and your own blend of soapy minis. Think Lush meets candy store.
Expect gift sets, body scrubs, and other plant-based, vegan bath goodies when the pop-up opens very soon. From what we are hearing through the grapevine, the main store could open in early summer.
Bopo Go! Brings Boba to the District
From the team behind the popular Bopomofo Café, Bopo Go! is being tailor-made for Downtown Disney. The new shop promises high-quality boba teas made from real fruit, ceremonial-grade matcha, and zero artificial anything. In other words, it’s your chance to upgrade from whatever that green drink was at Starbucks.

Inspired by Asian convenience stores, Bopo Go! will also serve light bites, snacks, and sweet treats—all served with style. There’s already a Starbucks and Jamba Juice on the east side of Downtown Disney and the new Sip and Sounder on the west side, so we’re curious where this new shop is headed and which existing outlets are getting some new competition.
New Downtown Disney Dining On The Way
In addition to the recently opened Parkside Market and Din Tai Fung, there are more new restaurants opening from one end of the district to the other. Let’s take a look at what’s on the way…
Arthur & Sons and Pearl’s Roadside BBQ
Two new restaurants from Michelin-starred chef Joe Isidori are getting ready to fire up the grills at Downtown Disney. Set to replace the old Tortilla Jo’s space, Arthur & Sons Steak and Bourbon and Pearl’s Roadside BBQ aim to bring a hearty dose of steakhouse style and slow-smoked comfort food to the district.

Arthur & Sons will serve up premium cuts of beef, fresh seafood, salads, sandwiches, and—of course—plenty of bourbon. The interior will mix crisp lines with warm wood tones, a bustling bar, plush booths, and even private dining areas. In short, this is your spot for a serious sit-down meal that leans into rich flavors and refined cocktails.

Next door, Pearl’s Roadside BBQ goes for a more casual approach with a quick-service setup. Expect North Carolina-style barbecue with a modern twist: pulled pork, brisket, and smoked heritage turkey with house-made sauces.

The vibe? Think vintage filling station turned hip BBQ joint, complete with a patio, hand-painted mural, and the lingering smell of hickory smoke. There’s also the Shine Bar, offering craft beer and moonshine cocktails with views of the promenade. Whether you’re grabbing a plate or just popping in for a drink, it’s shaping up to be a welcome new hangout spot for carnivores and cocktail lovers alike.

Earl of Sandwich & The Carnaby Tavern
Another location for Earl of Sandwich will soon begin construction in the Parkside Stage area near the new security gate in Downtown Disney (close to the Disneyland Hotel). The two-story building will feature a traditional Earl of Sandwich quick-service counter on the ground floor and the full-service The Carnaby Tavern upstairs. Inspired by the swinging ’60s “British Invasion” pop and rock bands from the U.K., the Tavern will include a patio and an indoor/outdoor full-service bar.

As for Earl’s east-side location, it will close in 2025 to make way for the construction of a new Porto’s Bakery. In the meantime, guests will be able to purchase a limited selection of sandwiches from a temporary location recently set up across from the old ESPN Zone.

The new west-side Earl of Sandwich appears to be higher end than their previous Downtown Disney incarnations.

Porto’s Bakery and Cafe
And with Earl getting the boot to accommodate a new Porto’s, we hope the disruption will be worth the trouble. Disney could have built the new Portos on the west side and allowed Earl to stay where they currently are in the old La Brea Bakery location, but a grand game of musical chairs continues.

Fans of Porto’s Bakery and Café will find its signature Cheese Rolls, Potato Balls, and other beloved treats. Porto’s will also offer a first-ever (for Porto’s) sit-down dining option in this location, with table service and a full bar, adding a new twist to the Porto’s experience. The location will be a complete rebuild from the old Earl of Sandwich and La Brea Bakery establishments, which previously occupied the space.
Recently Opened Downtown Disney Shops & Restaurants
There are all sorts of new places to shop and eat in Disneyland Resort’s outdoor mall. Let’s take a look at what’s new…
Disney Wonderful World of Sweets

The former Marceline’s Confectionery has been transformed into the Disney Wonderful World of Sweets, which officially opened on January 22. While the footprint is larger and the name has changed, many of the treats will look familiar to longtime fans—caramel apples, churro toffee, dipped goodies, and plenty of pre-packaged sweets still fill the shelves.

One major upgrade: freshly made Werther’s Original Caramel Popcorn is now being churned out continuously in a glass-walled kitchen you can view from the promenade. There’s also an exclusive new popcorn bucket available only at this location.

The store leans heavily on pre-packaged candy and merchandise, but there are some new cookies and cake pops worth checking out. That said, fan-favorite treats like fudge and caramel bars are still missing from the lineup. With more space and added kitchen capacity, we’re hopeful the selection will expand soon.

Disney Storyland Boutique Now Open
Taking over the former Dress Shop, the Disney Storyland Boutique officially opens January 24 and is going full Kawaii. The initial theme is all things cute, cuddly, and plushy—with Stitch, headbands, and build-your-own accessories galore.

But don’t get too comfortable. This shop is designed to completely reinvent itself multiple times a year, switching up the theming, decor, and merchandise on a regular basis. So if you see something adorable, grab it before it gets rotated out for whatever’s next.

Parkside Market Now Open
The new area on the west side (near the new park stage) features the Parkside Market food hall, which contains three new eateries and a bar.

The ground floor offers three distinctive menus under one roof (seating for all four quick-service dining locations is available on the second floor).

Seoul Sister – A Korean-Californian fusion restaurant from Executive Chef Kelly Kim.

The Bulgogi beef itself is a bit salty, but it balanced nicely with the kimchi and a choice of rice, noodles, or salad as the base.

Sip & Sonder – An acclaimed L.A. café featuring fresh treats and signature lattes as well as Caribbean-inspired bites.

GG’s Chicken Shop – A family-friendly eatery from James Beard Award-winning creators featuring a menu of comfort food like chicken sandwiches, salads, and classic sides.

The chicken sandwich is incredibly light and crunchy – there’s also some slight sweetness with a kick! The waffle fries are also spiced. We give it two thumbs up!

Upstairs, the Vista Parkside Market bar, serves drinks crafted by expert mixologists, from mocktails to martinis (and everything in between) – all with great views of the district below.

Morning Mist – Garrison Brothers Small Batch Bourbon, Early Grey, Angostura, orange bitters (smoked table side).

And you can’t beat dining with a Monorail view!

Insider Tip: You can wait in line at each of the counters, but you can also place orders from any of the locations in the building with the servers upstairs, and they’ll bring everything to you… The best part is that you can pay for everything on one bill!
NOW OPEN: Avengers Reserve
A new Marvel-themed shop called Avengers Reserve is scheduled to open at the Downtown Disney District on December 6, but today, December 4, the shopping location soft-opened to guests.

Celebrating the Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, the store features items including collectibles, apparel, accessories, toys, and comics. The shop is located on the west end of the Downtown Disney district, near the Parkside Stage. You can’t miss it; a 9′ tall Incredible Hulk looms over the entry. Spiderman is casting his web from the sign above the door.

NOW OPEN: D-Lander Shop
The new So Cal-style boutique, D-Lander, opened on November 27, 2024. This location is located at the west end of the district near the future Avengers Reserve store (read on for information on this location as well).

D-Lander focuses on trendy fashion and offers apparel, accessories, and jewelry.

Co-branded collections of apparel, handbags, and jewelry, including Kate Spade, Dooney & Bourke, and a dedicated Pandora Jewelry shop, are located inside.

REOPENED: LEGO Store
Don’t panic; the popular LEGO store is staying, but it now has a slightly refreshed look. It reopened on November 24, 2024. A second phase is coming soon, which will offer more new sculptures and details. Stay tuned for more on this one.

Downtown Disney Transformation
More Recent Downtown Disney Additions include the delicious but expensive, Din Tai Fung dumpling house:
And the Paseo, Centrico, and Tiendita complex, which replaced Catal and the Uva is delivering high-end Mexican food. All three of the establishments are very popular and it can be particularly hard to get a table at the outdoor Centrico bar on a lovely evening.
