The Disneyland Resort’s Downtown Disney has been reimagining itself, and one of the most exciting changes was the addition of the acclaimed Taiwanese restaurant Din Tai Fung, which opened to much fanfare (and long waits) at the district’s west side on July 1, 2024.

Din Tai Fung Holiday Collection
With the holiday season already underway at the Disneyland Resort, Din Tai Fung is joining the seasonal celebration with the release their first-ever holiday gifts available for purchase in limited quantities at all U.S. restaurant locations, beginning on Nov. 23, 2024.
We love the adorable Bao Bao accessories featuring Din Tai Fung’s dumpling mascots, Bao Bao and Shao Mai, including the Bao Bao Plush Purse for $30 and Clip-on Plushies of each mascot for $22 (sold separately).

In addition, a pair of holiday ornaments for $38 feature Xiao Long Bao in a steamer basket (and wearing a santa hat) and the iconic Din Tai Fung takeout bag.

See below for more exclusive merch available at the restaurant.
Din Tai Fung in Downtown Disney
The 7,500-square-foot restaurant boasts two main dining rooms with a bar between them. A bamboo screen-lined patio area with climate control is also available for hot summer days and chilly winter evenings.

Din Tai Fung Menu
Beyond the popular xiao long bao, other Dim Sum options include shao mai, steamed buns, potstickers, and wontons. Diners can also enjoy various soups, fried rice, noodles, and Shanghai rice cakes (a personal favorite), among other dishes.

If you aren’t salivating yet, this video will surely do the trick:
Downtown Disney-Exclusive Merchandise Collections
Guests visiting during their stay in Downtown Disney can look forward to more than just tasty food; the location will also offer exclusive merchandise broken into two unique collections.
DTF Essentials Collection by Din Tai Fung
DTF Essentials includes a hoodie and a shirt in a no-frills style with decorative patches that pay homage to the original location in Taiwan.

Anaheim Collection by Din Tai Fung
The Anaheim Collection includes a shirt, a pullover sweatshirt, and several accessories inspired by Din Tai Fung’s mascot, Bao Bao (that is a steamer lid on his head, in case you are wondering), and his little friend Shao Mai.

The collectible pins will surely appeal to the many pin-collecting guests who visit the park (note that these are not made by Disney, so you can’t use them for pin trading).
