The weather may suggest otherwise, but it’s already time for Halloween celebrations at theme parks in Orlando. Whether you prefer your haunts happy or horrifying, there’s something for everyone.

Let’s take a spin through the parks and see what spooky and/or scary antics are happening this year.
Legoland Florida Resort
It’s no surprise the self-described “theme park built for kids” is hosting the kid-friendliest Halloween celebration in Orlando, complete with the award-winning Monster Skytacular drone show.

During the family-friendly event, families can trick-or-treat through ghoulishly decorated lanes, meet favorite Lego monster Minifigures, party at Lord Vampyre’s V.I.M. (Very Important Monster) Dance Party, and catch a screening of The Great Monster Chase 4D movie.
New for this year is Brick or Treat Street, an immersive walk-through experience where trick-or-treating becomes a Lego adventure and interactive surprises are behind every door.

Brick-Or Treat will take place on September 5, 6, 12, 19, 26, October 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, 18, 23, 24, 25, 30, 31, 2026 (included with park admission). Find information HERE.
Walt Disney World Resort
Many of the Halloween festivities at Walt Disney World occur during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.

Mickey’s after-hours bash includes trick-or-treating and family-friendly entertainment, including the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular stage show, Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween parade, and the Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks hosted by Jack Skellington.

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party takes place on select nights from August 7 to October 31, 2026 (separately ticketed). Find information HERE.

Universal Orlando Resort
There’s literally no place to hide once you pass through the gates of Universal Studios Florida for Halloween Horror Nights.

This year, two notorious Halloween Horror Nights icons, Dr. Oddfellow and Jack the Clown, are returning to wreak havoc side-by-side in the new original haunted house Jack & Oddfellow: Chaos & Control.

Additional original haunted houses are INVASION: Alien Abduction,MADLANDS: Caged Cannibals, and H.R. Bloodengutz Presents: A Halloween Fright-Tacular, which features the horrifying return of another iconic Halloween Horror Nights character.

Halloween Horror Nights takes place on select nights from August 28 through November 1, 2026 (separately ticketed).
Halloween Horror Nights is not recommended for kids under 13.

SeaWorld Orlando and Busch Gardens Tampa Bay
SeaWorld Orlando and its sister park Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, are the only Orlando theme parks that offer both kid-friendly and super scary Halloween celebrations: SeaWorld Spooktacular and Busch Gardens Spooktacular during the day and Howl-O-Scream after dark.
With family-friendly activities like trick-or-treating, pumpkin painting, Halloween shows, parades, and character experiences, the daytime events are perfect celebrations for kids (or, let’s be honest, even many adults) who aren’t ready for intense scares.

But all bets are off after dark when Howl-O-Scream transforms normally tranquil theme parks into havens for haunts that lurk in “terror-tories” and houses of horror.

The 2026 Howl-O-Sprint 5K Run on September 18, 2026, at SeaWorld Orlando is the only nighttime terror run of its kind where relentless creatures stalk your every step (not intended for kids). Find information HERE.
At Busch Gardens Tampa Bay:
- Halloween Spooktacular runs from September 5 through November 1, 2026 (included with park admission)
- Howl-O-Scream runs on select nights from September 11 through Oct. 31, 20226(seperately ticketed)

At SeaWorld Orlando:

- Howl-O-Scream runs on select evenings from September 11 through October 31, 2026 (separately ticketed)

For the exceptionally brave, a two-park ticket provides a double dose of Howl-O-Scream with admission to the nighttime events at both SeaWorld Orlando and Busch Gardens Tampa Bay.
