Halloween is already underway at Walt Disney World following the first weekend of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom Park, which kicked off on August 7, 2026. From ghastly garbed characters to epic eats and treats here’s our guide to the frightfully fun time of year at the Most Magical Place on Earth!

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

This year, Magic Kingdom’s spooktacular nighttime soiree takes place on 37 select nights from August 7 through October 31, 2026, and tickets are still available. 

The separately ticketed event runs from 7 p.m. to midnight but party guests can enter Magic Kingdom park at 4 p.m.—3 hours before the official start time.

NEW! A Masquerade with Stitch – Stitch is hosting an ever-changing masquerade along with Lilo and Angel at Rockettower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland. After getting his paws on Lilo’s Costume Trunk, every accessory he tries on sparks a theme swap.

NEW! Spirited Swashbucklers – Captain Jack Sparrow has dropped anchor to lead a swashbuckling series of pirate antics in Adventureland.

Plus meet Donald, Daisy and Pluto at Storybook Circus, hit the Destination DescenDANCE Party inspired by the Disney Original Movie, “Descendants: The Rise of Red” at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café, and listed to The Cadaver Dans in Frontierland.

Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade

Highlights of the beloved annual parade include:

This nighttime spectacular sets the sky ablaze with lasers, fireworks, and more! Listen in as the Pumpkin King weaves a not-too-scary tale, and Disney pals Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy meet dancing skeletons, ghosts, and villains in a haunted house. 

Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular

Hosted by the Sanderson Sisters at the Cinderella Castle stage, the spooky soiree features dancers, visual projections, and special effects as the sisters summon a crew of frightfully fearsome guests including Dr. Facilier, Hades, Cruella De Vil, Oogie Boogie, Jafar, and The Evil Queen.

Trick-or-treating Throughout Magic Kingdom Park

Come in costume, and fill up your trick-or-treat bag at more than a dozen treat trail locations, with some familiar faces to surprise you along the way.

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2026 Merchandise

This year’s MNSSHP merchandise leans heavily on the orange-and-black color scheme. Items feature either Vampire Mickey (occasionally joined by his gal Minnie, dressed as a witch), a variety of Disney Villains, or, on a few pieces, both!

For apparel, you can choose between an adult ringer tee and a crewneck.

Next up is the party-exclusive glow-in-the-dark ear headband by Loungefly. The bat at the center is removable.

Also from Loungefly is this convertible backpack with coin purse. The front of the bag has the Headless Horseman and Vampire Mickey Mouse tags along as the coin purse.

Speaking of Vampire Mickey, the costumed character is also available as a plush bag charm and a mug.
