It’s been a bit chilly out lately (anything lower than 75° is cold for us SoCal folks, but for real though, it’s been cold!) but today we’ve got something that’ll warm you right up. Our Disneyland Merchandise Update is fresh out of the oven and we’re ready to share with you. Expect items to keep you toasty, things for your noggin’, and all sorts of cute things for the season. And I am pretty sure Santa’s elves are working extra-hard this year because even more holiday merchandise is available (can you believe it?)!

On Dasher, on Dancer, on Merchandise Update . . . Here we go . . .

A Hug You Can Wear

Sweatshirts are a great layering option for colder days. And we spotted a closetful of new styles over at World of Disney at Downtown Disney.

First up are these traditional-style sweatshirts. The garments feature Mickey and several of his friends, another with a Star Wars design, and one that is themed to Disneyland with retro flair.

Alternatively, you can also garb yourself in one of these fuzzy sweatshirts. These have the faces of Mickey, Minnie, and Donald as well as the Disneyland logo. It’s a step up from an Elvis velvet painting. . .

Put Your Thinking Cap On

Show your head some love and keep it toasty with a beanie (or skullcap, if you prefer). They are pretty simple in design, with just a single embroidered character against a single-colored background.

This pom-pommed kids beanie is also new. Covered in “scales,” the band has the word “Mermaid” along with Ariel the Little Mermaid’s beloved Dinglehopper.

Let Me Be Brief…

We often cover more women’s clothing than men’s but in this Update, it’s the guy’s time to shine. There is a good number of new men’s undergarments in a variety of styles.

These boxer-briefs have some interesting print choices. The use of Disneymoji (Disney emoji) is an odd one in my opinion. But I love the uses of Kevin from Up and Wreck-It Ralph. The Disneyland-themed one is pretty bland, comparatively.

More loose-fitting boxers are another option. We spotted prints with Storm Troopers, The Haunted Mansion’s wallpaper, and the logo from The Incredibles.

But since it has been awfully chilly at night, you may prefer lounge pants. Grumpy gets his own print on these. There is also a pair covered in logos from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

We noticed these Disneyland-themed exercise shorts, too. The wording is screen-printed on the side of the leg.

Surprise! More Holiday Merchandise!

Who knew there would be even more Holiday merchandise incoming? We saw tons already in some of our previous Merchandise updates, including one that was entirely dedicated to the seasonal goods. You can catch up on what’s already been released here:

Apparel and Accessories

I personally adore this Gingerbread Mickey and Minnie Ear Headband (it’s actually my favorite item in this Merchandise Update!). It is a redesign of a similar model released last holiday season and they made the thing even cuter!

There is also this peppermint-y Ear Headband available. It is covered in sequins with a green bow and red ears (complete with a fuzzy, white trim). And the band is blend of white and green, reminiscent of a spearmint candy stick.

This scarf has a simple, wintery design, using a snowflake motif. But if you look carefully, you’ll also find some Hidden Mickeys within the pattern.

You may recall seeing this pet nightshirt in a previous Merchandise Update a few weeks ago. The pet accessory has now made it to Downtown Disney as well.

Decor (Plus, A Toy!)

The Nutcracker is a classic holiday icon. Add a dash of Disney to them and you get something extra-special. Here we see Santa Mickey and Elf Minnie in Nutcracker form (each sold separately). I particularly like the use of fabric on the character’s outfits along with the punny little phrases on the bases.

If art figures are your style, these next two items will be of interest to you. The first figure stars Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and Chip n’ Dale, dressed as Santa and some of his merry elves. I like the art style used on the characters in this one. We’ve seen in on some other recent merchandise releases. Plus, the scene itself is endearing.

The next art figure features Mickey and Minnie in Victorian outfits, ice skating. The base is rather ornate, with intricate Mickey silhouettes that are accented with little gems.

, Disneyland Merchandise Update: It’s a Cozy Christmas

Like the previous art figure, this musical figurine has gems on its base. It depicts Santa Mickey gifting a present from his bag of toys. With the gold-painted accents, this figurine has an antique vibe to it, like something your older relatives would put out for the holidays.

It feels like most advent calendars either use chocolate in little boxes or simply involve switching out numbers that countdown to holiday time. But this one involves hanging charms on pegs along the castle!

Chip and Dale make darling little elves, don’t they? These plushes are sold as a set because nobody would dare to separate the two buddies.

Ornaments

Made in a design similar to the advent calendar we saw earlier, this glass ornament has a wooden cutout of classic Mickey Mouse, dressed up for winter weather. Behind him is a glittery snowflake with plenty of Hidden Mickeys.

There are also Minnie Mouse and Castle ornaments made in the same style. They also have the snowflake background found in the Mickey one.

If you are a fan of Hidden Mickeys (or Minnies, in this case), you’ll get a kick out of these ornaments. The first one slightly resembles that holiday decoration staple, the garland. The second is made to look like it’s crafted out of peppermint candy.

Odds & Ends

As is often the case, leftovers from previous Downtown Disney Shopping Events have made their way to World of Disney. This time, the item in question is the Disneyland 65th Anniversary Novelty Popcorn Bucket. The striped box design is close to what was used for popcorn back when the Park first opened. Of course, the item has been “plussed” with art of beloved Disney characters along with a handy-dandy shoulder/neck strap.

, Disneyland Merchandise Update: It’s a Cozy Christmas

This Scream Canister tumbler, fashioned after the item seen in Monsters Inc., is both brilliant and the stuff of nightmares. With the touch of a button, you can actually hear the screams of children that would have been stored in the movie’s Scream Canisters. Oh, and you can drink cold beverages out of it, too.

, Disneyland Merchandise Update: It’s a Cozy Christmas

Finally, let’s pop over to the Star Wars Trading Post, where a new Porg keychain has surfaced. It is made to resemble the Porg dolls sold at the Toydarian Toymakers booth at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Cute little thing, isn’t it?
