After trickling into random Walt Disney World shops over the last few days, Disney Parks holiday merchandise has finally landed in Downtown Disney’s Backlot Premier Shop and World of Disney at the Disneyland Resort. I know Halloween hasn’t even passed yet, but I need a little Christmas, right this very minute, and I figured you might too! Let’s take a look . . .
Disneyland Christmas Apparel
This character-filled short-sleeved tee certainly feels merry. Mickey conducts a toy train with Pluto (in reindeer antlers!), Donald, and Goofy in tow. And look at all the little nods to Parks attractions! I spy a carousel horse, a tea set resembling the Mad Tea Party, a Jungle Cruise boat, and a tiki bird. And even if its just in illustration form, I love seeing Main Street decorated for the holidays.
This holiday season, Disney has gifted this green, plaid Spirit Jersey . . .
. . . along with this red one, sized for kids.
Now, this is fun women’s shirt. It’s sprinkled with art of Disney icons, like Dumbo the Flying Elephant or simply a Hidden Mickey, that have been transformed into cookies, ornaments, and toys. What a delightful concept!
This raglan-sleeved henley shirt has a lot going on. There’s the pattern the sleeves along with Mickey, Minnie, and a reindeer on the chest.
Women are also treated to this simple red tee which is emblazoned with a “Happy Holidays” greeting. You may recall spotting this one way back at Disney’s Christmas in July online merchandise preview.
This is a an even more simple holiday tee for women.
Hooray for sweater weather! The knit sweater has a zippered front to help keep you extra-toasty on those cool winter nights. The two front pockets would be great for stashing gloves or glasses.
This sweatshirt is a layering option for kids. It features Santa Mickey’s smiling face on the front.
And the following kids sweatshirt has appliqué letters spelling out Disneyland on the front and sleeve above a festive Minnie Mouse.
If your child isn’t a fan of sweatshirts, there is also a zippered hoodie with Mickey and Minnie making a heart out of candy canes. How sweet! And fittingly, the hoodie is lined with a peppermint print.
This zippered hoodie not only has the phrase “Tis The Season To Be Jolly” on the back but the hood is lined with peppermint striped fabric as well.
You can also get this hoodie. We saw a similar design on a castle-themed hoodie two years ago but it must have been popular because here it is again.
This two-tone sweatshirt features a Mickey Snowman on the front.
My favorite of the warm weather gear is probably this plaid flannel jacket. It is lined with sherpa fleece and has a little embroidered Minnie on the upper-left corner of the front.
This nightshirt has a back covered with peppermint stripes. The front graphic has metallic foil elements.
The littlest kids are treated to this lovely sleep set.
Disneyland Christmas Accessories
You can choose between red or green (or both, I suppose) Ear Headbands this holiday season. Both are a simple sequin-covered design.
This light-up bow provides a great alternative for someone who wants to shows some minty-fresh love for all things Disney, but doesn’t want a headband ruining the holiday hairdo.
These may not be the type of stocking that hang on the chimney but your feet will definitely look merry. Mickey and Minnie each get their own pair of holiday socks.
If you don’t want to choose between Mickey or Minnie, there is also this pair of sequined slippers with a different Mouse on each foot. The sequins are reversible so a quick swipe will change them from red to green.
Disneyland Holiday Sweets
I hope you have a sweet tooth because Disney has concocted some special candy just for the holidays. The one I am most excited for is this tin of peppermint bark. And as an extra magical touch, each piece is shaped like Mickey!
This metal Christmas tree is actually a cookie tin.
There are five different flavors in this candy bar sampler, each with different character art on them. The flavors are: Dark Chocolate Peppermint Crunch, Milk Chocolate, Milk Chocolate Marshmallow, Dark Chocolate Sea Salt, and an Eggnog-flavored candy bar.
There is also a Cocoa sampler with three flavors: Candy Cane, Cinnamon Cocoa, and Double Chocolate. I love the cookie art printed on the containers.
This Advent Calendar has a piece of chocolate for each day leading up to Christmas.
Even the Mickey Crispies get dressed up for the holidays. Here we see them with red and green coating, topped with nonpareils.
Disneyland Holiday Home Goods
Mickey is being one sneaky mouse on this mug. He’s caught Minnie under some mistletoe! One side has the art and the other says “Meet Me Under the Mistletoe.”
A travel mug is also available. It’s covered with Mickey and friends (and Duffy the Disney Bear!!).
Starbucks has made Disney-themed mugs and travel cups in the past and they keep getting better, in my opinion. . .
There are also ornaments of recent mugs and travel cups.
This baking kit is also sold on shopDisney and at Disney Stores. It includes two different sizes of spatulas, two cookie cutters, and a mixing bowl.
And you serve all kinds of baked goods on these many different dishes and trays.
Here is one magical (and fancy) Holiday Countdown Calendar. It’s got classic-style Santa Mickey and Minnie, with a glittery Cinderella Castle in the background.
The porcelain figure trio along with the light-up figurine should appeal to those of us decking the halls, Disney-style.
This rustic light-up figurine looks as though they are made from wooden models and cutouts.
This fleece-lined blanket certainly looks warm. The art features a classically-drawn Santa Mickey attempting (and failing adorably) to sneak gifts under the Christmas tree.
The same art can also be seen on this throw pillow.
Chip and Dale make the perfect nutcrackers, don’t you think?
This candle smells like gingerbread!
Disneyland Christmas Ornaments!
Two sets of Disney Parks ornaments are now in stock as well. The first one includes figures of Mickey and the gang. The second are the Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy envisioned as scarf-wearing Hidden Mickey-shaped orbs.
Along with the sets, there are several individual ornaments to choose from.
Disneyland Holiday Toys
This stylized Minnie Mouse doll includes several outfits and accessories, all in a themed carrying case. She’s an influencer that Minnie!
You’ll also find the Holiday Porg and Holiday Forky plushes at Downtown Disney. These are also currently available on shopDisney and at Disney Stores (I even featured the Porg in my latest Disney Merchandise Update).
There is a special toy train sold every year around the holidays and here is this year’s model.
Odds and Ends
You can hang greeting cards to the fridge with this magnet.
Send out some greeting cards of your own with this set. I love the classical art style blended with color. It has warm, rustic feeling that mixes well with the winter holidays.
Your favorite pup can get decked out for the holidays, too. Not only is there a seasonal pet Spirit Jersey but also a positively adorable comfort harness that is topped with a mouse ear-ed Santa cap.
If you prefer to go the simpler route (or your pet doesn’t do the whole “clothes” thing), there is also a themed collar.
You’ve got to have something to put all those gifts into, right? I love that Disney sells reusable shopping bags (although I wish they weren’t plastic-based) and this one is so darn cute! The front art is Mickey and friends prepping for the holiday season while the back has a darling little poem.
And now we get to this season’s purchase with purchase promotion. If you purchase anything, you can then buy this bag for an additional $19.99. Like the holiday purchase with purchase bags of seasons past, this one is rather heavy-duty, with a flat bottom, reinforced handle, and zippered closure. Plus, they are made of canvas not plastic. And let’s not forget to mention the charming graphic embroidered on the front.

Wishes Come True Blue Color Collection
If you have been following along with Disney merchandise news over the last few days, you may have heard about the latest color collection, Wishes Come True Blue. This collection of merchandise is special not just because it’s all blue and sparkly but because it was created to celebrate Disney’s 40 years partnering with Make-a-Wish. In fact, up until next year’s Make-a-Wish Day (April 29, 2021), Disney will donate 25 percent of the purchase price of merchandise sold from this collection, up to $500,000.
Much to the dismay of collectors, several items sold out after they were listed online at shopDisney. But luckily (for those who can visit Downtown Disney, at least), there is a good supply of the collection in stock here as well.
