Disney Holiday Gift Guide 2025: Toys & Games for the Young & Young-at-Heart

The holidays are already in full swing at Disneyland and Walt Disney World, but the gift-giving portion of the season is still on the way. And if you are looking for that one little spark of inspiration, you are in luck. Santa and his elves have been busy building all manner of playthings for kids of all ages, even adult ones. From toys to games and even countdown calendars, we’ve got you covered. After making our list and checking it twice, MiceChat is proud to present our 2025 toy and game gift guide for the Disney fans in your life, including yourself!

Toys

Disney Oh So Snuggly Chip Plush and Dale Plush by Gund ($29.99 Each)

These 12.5-inch-tall plush chipmunks are sold separately, but really, how can you not buy both? Part of Gund’s Oh So Snuggly line, both are slightly understuffed for extra-huggability, with quilted jersey cotton accents on their feet. They are suitable for all ages. And for those who worry about their plush friends getting dirty during their adventures, these toys are machine-washable.

Cars Holiday Die Cast Pack ($34.99)

Lightning McQueen, Tow Mater, Ramone, and Doc Hudson get dressed up for the holiday season with this die-cast metal car set. Each toy is 1:43-scale, with Christmas-y accessories and a matching paint job. The themed display box that they are packaged in makes it easy to wrap up for gifting.

R2-H15 Interactive Remote Control Holiday Droid ($129.99)

For the Star Wars fan who has everything, we suggest this special holiday remote-controlled droid. Limited to just 5,000 pieces, this 12-inch-tall droid not only features a holiday color scheme and a removable Santa cap, but also a matching holiday personality chip, which may inspire it to break out into droid versions of Christmas carols.

Tinker Bell Disney Story Doll ($29.99)

The Disney Story Dolls switched from plastic to paper packaging a few years back, and includes many Disney Princesses along with other beloved characters like Tinker Bell. Every set includes a pre-dressed, posable doll along with an additional outfit and accessories. We thought Tinker Bell’s set was especially well-done. It includes a Tinker Bell doll (and a rather detailed one, at that), along with her winter outfit, a wand, a shoulder bag, and a little baby Tick-Tock the crocodile. And as a bonus, the Disney Story Doll packaging opens up to reveal a coloring and activity sheet.

Retro Disney Toys by Fisher-Price ($17.99 – $34.99)

Adults will appreciate these reimagined old-school Fisher-Price toys as much as children would. Beloved childhood favorites like the Lil’ Snoopy Pull Toy and the Music Box Record Player, with a touch of pixie dust, are the Little Pluto Pull Toy and the Mickey Mouse Record Player, complete with a Mickey glove on the record player arm. Other nostalgic toys, like the Two-Tune TV, Cash Register, and See ‘n Say (this one is currently out of stock on Disney Store), now have some Mickey Mouse flair added to them. The simple charm of these playthings makes them easy picks for this year’s holiday gift guide.

Games

Disney Lorcana Collection Starter Set by Ravensburger ($29.99)

There is no wrong way to appreciate Disney Lorcana. Some people enjoy playing the game, while others focus more on collecting the cards. This gift set was created with the latter in mind. It includes four booster packs, containing 12 random cards each, an exclusive foil version of the “Tinker Bell – Giant Fairy” card, a guide to card collecting, and an 80-card capacity card binder. The binder is big enough to hold 4 cards per page, but small enough to easily be stowed in a Loungefly mini backpack for a day out at the Disney Parks.

The booster packs could hold truly rare cards, making this like a gift within a gift. For example, among my included packs was an Enchanted card, an Epic card, and a Legendary card. And if there are any questions about a card’s rarity, the included collector’s guide has the information that the giftee could need.

Disney Lorcana Elsa Gift Set Box by Ravensburger ($29.99)

This gift set is geared towards long-time Disney Lorcana fans, ones who have already amassed a large amount of cards. One of the highlights is a heavy-duty cardboard storage box decorated with art from the “Elsa – The Fifth Spirit” card. An exclusive foil version of that card comes packaged with this gift set, along with five random 12-card booster packs from previously released sets.

Like the Disney Lorcana Collector’s Starter Set featured above, the included booster packs have a chance to include rare cards, like the “Jamine – Royal Commodore” card that came one of the Azurite Seas booster packs that was packaged with mine.

Gravitrax Junior Starter Sets – Lion King ($44.99) and Frozen ($49.99) by Ravensburger

This gift could be considered a toy and a game. Created for young minds ages 3 and up, these Disney-themed versions of Ravensburger’s Gravitrax Junior help bolster problem-solving skills and creative thinking while players design their own marble track. The hive-grid-like segments serve as a base, allowing you not only to guide the overall direction of the track but also to incorporate elevated portions and themed diorama pieces. Each of the Disney Starter Sets includes a set of basic pieces along with decorations that fit the theme. And, Starter Sets can be combined to build even bigger tracks.

For the Lion King Set, figures of Simba, Timon, and Pumba are included, along with jungle foliage pieces and cardboard standees of other characters from the movie.

In the Frozen Set are figures of Olaf, Sven, and Marshmallow, the ice monster, joined by cardboard standees of Elsa, Anna, and Kristoff. Decor pieces include ice crystals, Kristoff’s sleigh, and Elsa’s ice palace.

Disney Illusion Island Starring Mickey and Friends by Disney Games ($29.99) – Nintendo Switch/Switch 2, Windows, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S

This family-friendly platformer video game stars Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, and Donald Duck. Disney Illusion Island was initially released exclusively on the Nintendo Switch, but has since expanded to include other gaming consoles and has been updated with even more content. One copy of the game accommodates up to four players in couch co-op play as they work together to solve the mysteries of Monoth Island. For younger or less-experienced gamers, there is even a mode where you are invincible to damage. Additionally, there is also a “hard mode” for more seasoned players.

Disney Villains Cursed Café by Disney Games ($14.99) – Nintendo Switch/Switch 2, Windows, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S

For a thoroughly amusing and remarkably cozy (which is not a quality that you would normally associate with Disney villains), look no further than this narrative adventure game. You don the mantle, or rather, the apron, of the new potionista (potion barista) at a café frequented by all the villains you love to hate. However, these villains are humorously reimagined for the modern age (such as a social media-curious Maleficent), and depending on the potions you brew for them and the dialogue options you select, their stories change. It is a very light-hearted and, with the ability to completely redo an in-game day if you are unhappy with the results, low-stress game experience.

Countdown Calendars & Advent Calendars

Once Upon a Story 24-Day Countdown Calendar Micro Figure Set ($49.99)

The castle-shaped box hides 24 miniature figures of Disney Princesses, their friends, and some holiday props. The figures are made extra-special with translucent accents. This countdown calendar includes character figures of Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Sven, Belle, Beast, Lumiere, Cogsworth with snowballs, Mrs. Potts and Chip, Rapunzel, Flynn, Pascal, Tiana, Naveen, and Louis, plus a fireplace, an ice tree, a sled, a table, a slide, a teeter-totter, a cake, a set of ear muffs, and a hot cocoa tray.

Star Wars Legacy Lightsaber Hilts 12-Day Countdown Calendar ($99.99)

This Countdown Calendar offers 12 miniature replicas from across the Skywalker saga. Each day, the giftee can look forward to opening one of the following hilts, along with a matching display crate and display card: Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, Yoda, Ben Solo, Kylo Ren, Qui-Gon Jinn, Mace Windu, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Princess Leia, Rey, Count Dooku, and Anakin Skywalker. All of the crates can be locked together to form a cohesive display.

LEGO Disney Frozen Advent Calendar 2025 ($44.99)

This 24-day LEGO Advent Calendar is a figurative “spin” on the company’s typical offerings. And instead of merely revealing a winter scene piece by piece, the giftee will build a Frozen-themed board game, created for up to 5 players.

LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar 2025 ($44.99)

The Star Wars-themed LEGO Advent Calendar is a more traditional affair. Each of the 24 gifts included creates Star Wars characters or props with a holiday twist (like a Mouse Droid decorated like a present or a snowman-inspired BB-8). The box opens to reveal a scene to arrange the newly-built LEGOs in as well.
