Disney Lorcana by Ravensburger has been on a roll lately—celebrating its second anniversary, launching the second season of international competitive play, introducing its first card rotation, and debuting its first Disney Parks promotion: the Collection Quest activation at Disney California Adventure (August 29–September 21). The community’s response has been overwhelmingly positive.
Fabled products remain sold out at most stores even six weeks after launch, and fans are thrilled with the addition of A Goofy Movie and Dumbo to the lineup—along with the gorgeous card art that came with them. Local game stores have kicked off Set Championships, drawing record crowds of players hoping to win the coveted Maleficent “Monstrous Dragon” prize card.
Fabled may still be dominating the scene, but it’s already card reveal season for Set 10 of Disney Lorcana. We’ve got a first look at all the new cards—plus sneak peeks at Set 11 and even the mysterious trails of Set 12.
Whispers of a new mystery…
Set 10 of Disney Lorcana introduces a mysterious new character type: the Whisper.
These eerie figures are variations of familiar Disney “Glimmers,” but unlike their fully realized counterparts, Whispers exist in an incomplete form. To unlock their full potential, players must use a new game mechanic called Boost—placing the top card of their deck facedown beneath the Whisper to activate special powers or abilities. It’s an inventive addition that adds new layers of strategy across multiple play formats.
As for their origins, that’s where the mystery deepens. The ongoing Lorcana storyline takes players into the Ink Well itself—the source of all Glimmers—where these ghostly Whispers first appeared. We’ll need to look for clues about what they are and why they’ve emerged… with a little help from some expert Disney detectives.
Whether you’re solving the mystery or simply admiring the stunning new artwork, Disney Lorcana continues to grow richer and more imaginative with every set.
Set 10, Whispers in the Well, also introduces two new Disney franchises to Lorcana: Gargoyles and The Black Cauldron. These additions expand the game’s reach into some of Disney’s darker, lesser-known worlds—and bring fresh abilities and gameplay strategies along with them.
Along with the unfolding mystery comes a welcome surprise. Set 9, Fabled, introduced a new card rarity—Iconic—the rarest tier in Disney Lorcana. Set 10, Whispers in the Well, adds two more of these coveted cards to the mix.

Whispers in the Well will debut with prerelease events at local game stores, Disney Parks, and retail locations on November 7, followed by a wide release on November 14. The full product lineup includes booster packs, booster boxes, the Illumineer’s Trove, playmats, and single-player decks.
While it’s still unclear where these Whispers will lead, the Hen Wen’s Visions card teases a glimpse of what’s next—something snowy, maybe even a little wild.
Coming in early 2026, Winterspell brings frosty fun to Disney Lorcana with scenes of snowball fights and snowboard runs—yes, even featuring Snow Surfing Stitch. The art is irresistibly charming, and there’s plenty more cool chaos to come. Among the frosty newcomers? None other than the terror that flaps in the night himself—Darkwing Duck.
This card art is absolutely adorable and I can’t wait to see what other snowy shenanigans we get to have in Winterspell! It may be something terrific, or it may be something dangerous. He is the Terror that flaps in the night. He is Dark Wing Duck!

The beloved hero from The Disney Afternoon joins Lorcana, tapping directly into fans’ childhood nostalgia. And it looks like we’ll see even more of this caped crusader soon.
Lilo & Stitch return as well, this time inspired by Lilo & Stitch: The Series. Fans never seem to tire of Experiment 626 and his friends, and the new card art leans into their chaotic energy.
Winterspell hits stores with a prerelease on February 13, 2026, followed by a wide release on February 20, 2026. Expect a flurry of frozen fun before the adventure heads into uncharted territory.
I’m sure Winterspell will be a flurry of frozen fun. But all things come to an end, and we’ll have to start an adventure into the wild.
Trekking Through Parts Unknown
Arriving in the second quarter of 2026, Wilds Unknown marks the twelfth set in Disney Lorcana—and an ambitious new adventure. Woody, Buzz, and the rest of Pixar’s heroes join the game for the first time, leading Illumineers through treacherous terrain and untamed lands.
Details are still scarce, but the early key art hints at something bold and expansive. The future of Disney Lorcana looks as exciting—and unpredictable—as ever.
