Weeks before the giant Mickey pumpkin is scheduled to be put back into storage, there is already snow on Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland, and while it happens every year, it’s always a bit jarring to see Halloween and holiday decor in the parks at the same time. But that’s not all that’s jarring…
While prices rise across the resort, Tier 0 single-day one-park tickets have remained at $104 for six years, and pricing for the two lowest Magic Key tiers also remained unchanged from last year. Could it be that Disney is finally listening to guests who are feeling the economic pinch? We hope so!
Plus: a museum milestone, overnight TV taping, Día de los Muertos offerings, and more you’ll want to know before you go.

Debuting Summer 2026, our beloved Soarin’ attraction will be getting a limited-time makeover to Soarin’ Across America.
The new version of the popular flying theater attraction (which will also debut next summer in Orlando), will showcase the sights (and scents) of more than a dozen of the United States’ beautiful landscapes and iconic cities.

When Holidays Collide
As we mentioned, Haunted Mansion isn’t the only place at Disneyland where holidays collide. Yes, it’s true. There’s now snow on the rooftops of Sleeping Beauty Castle, and it’s not even Halloween.
Disneyland’s holiday celebration officially begins November 14th, but not only has the castle snow shown up early, but so have the Christmas merch collections, which are sitting side-by-side with Halloween items across the resort.
We understand it takes time to convert the Spookiest Place on Earth into the Merriest Place on Earth, but we wish the Christmas elves would at least wait until November 1st to report for duty. After all, if Magic Kingdom in Florida can be transformed overnight, why can’t Disneyland?
Magic Keys Unlocked
Enchant and Imagine Keys have been on sale for months, but the higher-tier Believe and Inspire Keys have only been available for renewal… until now. Starting November 4th, all four levels of Disneyland Magic Key annual passes will once again be available for new purchases… but at a higher price for some.
Along with Disneyland park tickets and parking, prices for the two higher Magic Keys went up on October 8, 2025:
- Imagine Key (Southern California residents only) – $599 (a $0 increase) – Can hold 2 park reservations at a time
- Enchant Key – $974 (a $0 increase) – Can hold 4 park reservations at a time
- Believe Key – $1,474 (a $100 increase) – Can hold 6 park reservations at a time
- Inspire Key – $1,899 (a $150 increase) – Can hold 6 park reservations at a time; no blockout dates

$104 Disneyland Tickets
Every time Disneyland ticket prices go up (like they just did on October 8th), we mention that pricing for Tier 0 tickets has remained at $104 since 2019, but the obvious question is how many Tier 0 dates are actually available? We’re glad you asked!
For November 2025, the answer is eight (all weekdays):
Unfortunately, the news isn’t quite so rosy for December as there are no Tier 0 dates at all; however, the $104 ticket price is back for twelve weekdays in January 2026:
And while the good news continues for February 2026 (with nine weekdays priced at $104), March only has three Tier 0 dates before they disappear for the busy Spring Break season.
Of course, all of this is dependent on park reservation availability, but if you can visit on a weekday, you can definitely save a few Disney dollars.

California Resident Ticket Offer Coming Soon!
Starting December 3, 2025, Californians can take advantage of a special limited-time offer for a 3-Day Park Hopper ticket valid from January 1 through May 21, 2026.
The price for the special California Resident 3-Day ticket with park hopping for adults (ages 3+) is $249 total—that’s only $83 per day! Plus, tickets can be used on nonconsecutive days as long as they’re within the eligible date range. Lightning Lane Multi Pass can also be added for an additional cost.

Constructionland
The reimagination at Napa Rose in the Grand Californian is still going strong. The resort’s fine dining restaurant is expected to open in early 2026, with an expanded exhibition kitchen, enhanced patio seating with fireplaces, and an updated menu.
Work continues at a rapid pace in Avengers Campus, with Avengers: Infinity Defense and the Stark Flight Lab attractions going in behind Avengers Headquarters.
Over at Disneyland, work continues on Casey Jr. and the Storybook Land Canal Boats. This past week, construction scrims were partially removed due to high wind, giving us a little peek at some fresh paint.

Celebrate Disneyland in San Francisco
The Walt Disney Family Museum in San Francisco is joining the 70th-anniversary party with Happiest Place on Earth: The Disneyland Story, an exhibit curated by Disney Legend Don Hahn that takes guests behind the scenes for the creation of Disneyland.
The original special exhibition inspired by The Happiest Place on Earth: The Incredible Story of Walt Disney’s Disneyland, a book written Hahn and historian Christopher Merritt, debuts on November 14th in the museum’s Lower Lobby and Theater Gallery.
“There’s a Disneyland that we experience as a child, with our eyes full of wonder at the stories it tells,” Hahn said. “But as we peeled back those layers, we found another Disneyland story—an incredible origin story of unconventional creativity without boundaries, of upset, failure, persistence, and pioneering that gave birth to a new kind of entertainment that still resonates now more than ever. That’s what this exhibition is about.”
By the time Disneyland celebrated its grand opening on July 17, 1955, Walt Disney and his team of Imagineers had been gathering inspiration for the project for nearly a decade and had been actively developing the Park for more than two years.
The Walt Disney Family Museum exhibition will showcase this behind-the-scenes process that culminated with Walt’s first theme park, including early concept art, designs for unrealized attractions, archival footage, costume development illustrations, hand-drawn maps, and rarely seen historical photographs and objects from the park.
The museum’s theater will also offer screenings of, “Happiest Place on Earth: Walt’s Disneyland,” an exclusive documentary produced by Hahn for the special exhibition that features rare archival interview footage, tracing the creation and early years of Disneyland through Walt’s own words.
“The goal was to balance iconic imagery with rarely seen early artwork that reflect Disneyland’s complex development and highlight the bold ideas and collaborative spirit that made the Park a reality,” said the museum‘s Director of Collections and Exhibitions Marina Villar Delgado. “We were fortunate to have the Walt Disney Archives, Animation Research Library, and Walt Disney Imagineering contribute an incredible range of historical materials to this exhibition.”
Entry to the special exhibition is free with general admission, with a suggested donation of $5 to support The Walt Disney Family Museum.
Disneyland Opera House Exhibit
The 70th-anniversary exhibit in the Disneyland Opera House features more than 30 items on loan from The Walt Disney Family Museum, including furnishings from Walt and Lillian Disney’s private apartment above the Disneyland Firehouse that have never been publicly exhibited at Disneyland… even the iconic cranberry-colored lamp from the window.

Walk in Walt Disney’s Footsteps at His 1930s Storybook Estate – Select Dates in November
This isn’t just a tour. It’s a rare invitation to stand where Walt stood, imagine what he imagined, and feel the spark of creativity that still lingers in the air.
Tucked away in the Hollywood Hills, this enchanting estate is where Walt Disney lived during one of the most defining chapters of his life. Built in 1932, this storybook-style home was where Walt raised his daughters, hosted legendary parties, and dreamed up many of the films that would shape generations. Only on rare occasions can you go beyond the gates.
On this approximately 90-minute guided tour, you’ll explore the interior and exterior of Walt’s private home, including his personal screening room, where he previewed classics-in-the-making… and the tiny Seven Dwarfs Cottage, a backyard playhouse Walt gifted his daughters in 1937—straight out of a fairy tale.

Dia de los Muertos
This year, the traditional Mexican holiday of Dia de los Muertos (the Day of the Dead) is on November 2nd. Leading up to Dia de los Muertos, families create ofrendas with photos and mementos celebrating the lives of the loved ones they’ve lost, just like in the movie “Coco.”
Several ofrendas have been constructed at the Disneyland Resort to honor the tradition; two of them are in California Adventure: one inside Ramon’s House of Body Art in Cars Land, honoring Doc Hudson, and the other in Plaza de la Familia, honoring the Rivera family from “Coco.”
An ofrenda at Zocolo Park in Frontierland honors the pets of Disneyland Cast Members.
An ofrenda is also located just inside the entrance to Paseo restaurant in Downtown Disney.

“The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration” will be taping overnight at Disneyland from 11 p.m. on October 24th until at 6:30 a.m. on October 25th. D23 Gold Members were offered a chance to attend, but sadly, those spots have already sold out.
But all is not lost! The Disney holiday special often tapes in the parks during the day, so be on the lookout… you might just spot a celebrity like we did last year!
