It’s More Expensive To Visit Disneyland in 2025… Most Days That Is…
As autumn arrives, so does another annual tradition: Disneyland ticket price increases! This time around, day tickets, multi-day passes, Magic Keys, and Lightning Lane prices are all on the rise. However, Disneyland has held the lowest price day ticket to $104, and the lowest two tiers of Magic Keys have also held their price (for now).
Now, buckle up as we dive into this year’s ticket price increases and how they compare to previous years…

Disneyland Ticket Prices Go Up on Day Tickets and Magic Keys Like Clockwork
No one should be surprised by Disneyland ticket increases—they happen every year, like clockwork. Last year’s hike was on October 9th, and while this year’s bump is slightly tamer, the trend continues.

Years ago, Disneyland moved to demand-based pricing. First, there were three tiers, then five, then six… now, we’re at seven. The base Tier 0 price has held at $104 since 2019, which feels like a rare freeze. But don’t get too comfortable—other tiers (and Magic Keys) see increases of up to 8.7%.
Disneyland Oct 2025 Ticket Price Increase
Beginning today (October 8th, 2025), Disneyland tickets will cost the following. (As a reminder, we do not change prices once an article has run. Always use Disneyland’s app or website for current prices, terms, and conditions.):
One Day/One Park Disneyland Resort Tickets (Starting Oct 8th, 2025):
-
- Tier 0 – $104 (0% increase – this has been the low price since 2019)
- Tier 1 – $129 (2.4% increase)
- Tier 2 – $149 (4.9% increase)
- Tier 3 – $169 (3.0% increase)
- Tier 4 – $184 (2.2% increase)
- Tier 5 – $199 (1.5% increase)
- Tier 6 – $224 (8.7% increase)
2025 Disneyland Multi-day Tickets See A Modest Increase:
The price for buying multi-day tickets is going up slightly. But please note that multi-day tickets won’t always be cheaper than buying one-day tickets for each day of your trip. Though, a 5-Day ticket will almost always be your best value, unless there are special ticket offers (see below). Do the math before you purchase.
- 2-Day from $165 per day (up $3 from 2024)
- 3-Day from $142 per day (up $3.67 from 2024)
- 4-Day from $120 per day (up $150 from 2024)
- 5-Day from $104 per day (up $1.80 from 2024)

Park Hopper Add-On
If you’d like to switch parks mid-day, you’ll need to pay extra. This perk ranges from $70 -$90 a day. Park hopping started at $65 in 2024.
Lightning Lane Price Increase
It’s not just tickets that have gone up… Lightning Lane (the former Genie+) is also going up in price. The starting price is now $34 (it started at $32 in 2024) and can vary by date and demand.

Disneyland Resort Parking
Disneyland held parking prices last year, but they are seeing big jumps in 2025:
-
- General Parking – $40 (Previously $35)
- Preferred Parking – $60 (Previously $55)
- Hotel Valet Parking – $75 (Previously $70)
- Hotel Guest Self Park – $45 (Previously $40)
- Non-Hotel Guest Self Park (Previously $40 for the first hour + $10 for each additional hour up to a max of $80)

Historical Disneyland One-Day Ticket Prices
There are some trends here. We spent some time last night pulling together the Disneyland ticket prices since 2010. Since 2020, Disneyland has had 5 to 7 tiers of pricing. The days with the highest demand have the highest prices. And while the lowest-priced tier remains unchanged, the highest-priced ticket went up by $18:

Before the extensive tier system, Disneyland had a three-tier pricing structure (for Value, Regular, and Peak seasons):

And before 2016, Disneyland had a single price regardless of season. Just 14 years ago, it cost $76 to visit Disneyland.
While the lowest tier price hasn’t budged much since 2019 ($104), prices on other days have gone up at a steady pace. Tiers have allowed Disneyland to both raise prices AND keep them steady at the same time. If you average out all those tiers, a single day at Disneyland is about $165 per ticket. So, in just 15 years, the cost of a ticket to Disneyland has more than doubled (on average).

Magic Key Prices Surge, Benefits Stay Steady!
Disneyland’s Magic Key holders, brace yourselves: although some of the keys are not currently available for purchase, pass prices are still on the rise.

For the first time in forever, some of the Magic Keys will see no price increase (at least not yet). But the two two highest tier Keys will jump as expected.
Expect pass benefits to remain mostly the same as last year. All passes still require park reservations and have blockout dates.
-
- Imagine $599 (a 0% increase)
- Enchant $974 (a 0% increase)
- Believe $1474 (a 7.28% increase)
- Inspire $1899 (a 8.58% increase)
Disneyland Annual Pass/Magic Key Historical Prices
Like we did with day tickets, let’s look at past pass prices. Do you miss the days of yore? The Magic Key program was launched in 2021. Here’s how prices have gone up since the start of the keys:

Before that, there were Annual Passes… which started at $299 in 2015 (Magic Keys start at $599 today, a doubling in price in 10 years).

NEW: Disneyland California Resident Ticket Offer
When theme park ticket prices climb, Disneyland often releases a California resident ticket offer to soften the blow, and this year is no different.

The new limited-time California Resident 3-Day Park Hopper Ticket for theme park visits in early 2026 will cost $249, which works out to as little as $83 per person, per day. A 3-Day Park Hopper ticket with Lightning Lane Multi Pass is $351 ($117 per person per day).
Both limited-time California Resident tickets will be available to purchase starting on Dec. 3, 2025, and eligible California residents can redeem their tickets on any three eligible days from Jan. 1, 2026 to May 21, 2026 (subject to park reservation availability, of course).
Know Before You Go:
- Offers are valid for California residents within ZIP codes 90000-96199 only; proof of eligible residency, including valid government-issued photo ID, is required for both purchase and admission
- May purchase up to 5 tickets per eligible person per day with valid ID
- All CA Resident Park Hopper Ticket Offer users must be California Residents
- This offer may not be combined with other ticket discounts or promotions
- Tickets are nonrefundable
- Tickets are not valid before 1/1/26 and expire 5/21/26
- Tickets may be used on nonconsecutive days
How Do Disneyland Ticket Price Increases Impact You?
Disneyland has gotten pretty good at trying to take the sting out of price increases. The Tier 0 one-day ticket has been the same price for 7 years. The new California Resident Ticket Offer is set to run for a limited time to soften the blow. Price increases are never fun. But did this one fall in line with what you were expecting? Please let us know how your travel plans will be impacted by the current ticket increases.
A Disneyland guest visiting the parks on a Tier 6 day this holiday season is going to have a pretty hefty bill to pay. A tier 6 ticket with park hopping, parking, and Lightning Lane would cost $388 ($50 more than the same options last year).

And don’t forget that our Get Away Today travel partners still have Disneyland tickets at the old price for a few more days (HERE). Don’t overpay.
