Whether you are giving gifts to a Disney-loving family with a fondness for family portrait holiday cards or if you are that family, this knitted outerwear is picture-perfect. The Mickey sweater is available in adult’s ($69.99) and kid’s sizing ($59.99), while the Minnie style is only available as a sweater for adults ($69.99). The kid’s alternative is a cardigan ($59.99). Round out the ensemble with the matching ear headband ($34.99).
When it snows, make a snowman … merchandise collection. Loungefly built their own Mickey Snowman mini backpack ($99), and the good news is, you don’t need to worry about frostbite when you wear it. And brain freeze isn’t a concern with the Mickey Snowman ear headband ($34.99).
Cozy up on Christmas Eve in matching red and green plaid PJs. The sleep sets come in adult sizes ($49.99 each), with Mickey embroidered on the men’s style and Minnie on the one for the women, and kid’s sizes ($34.99 each) with Mickey and Minnie styles. All of these pajamas can be personalized with the giftee’s name embroidered on the front.
After a fun-filled night (or eight) of candle-lighting and noshing on latkes and sufganiyot, the whole family can head off to dreamland dressed in Hanukkah-themed Mickey and Minnie Mouse pajamas. The available styles include lounge pants for adults ($29.99), a sleep set for women ($49.99), PJ Pals for kids ($24.99), a nightshirt for girls ($24.99), and a stretchy sleeper for babies ($24.99).
The music emitted from this holiday musical figure ($74.99) with Mickey and Minnie surrounded by attractions from Disney Parks isn’t a typical holiday song. In fact, I can’t even think of what it is called! But the jolly jingle immediately brings back memories of walking down Main Street, USA, during Holiday Time, and that is reason enough for me to love it. The monorail moves around the base as the music plays, adding pleasant kinetic energy.
Many families (mine included) have fond memories of baking cookies with loved ones during the holiday season. This set of cookie stamps ($29.99) will add new energy to that tradition when you use them to make special cookies that are perfect for eating (or noshing on with a cup of cocoa).
These dated Mickey and Minnie holiday plushes ($26.99 each) will bring back fond memories of this year’s festivities with every hug. Each plush is 16 inches tall and has “Disney” and “2024” embroidered on the bottom of their left foot.
Weighted plushes are en vogue (and rightfully so; they are quite soothing), and they don’t get much cuter than this Mickey Mouse one ($39.99), all dressed up for winter weather. The plush houses a 2-and-a-half-pound removable pouch and is ready for cuddle time.
Disney Munchlings mystery plushes return for the holidays with their Sleighin’ Sweets series ($14.99 each). Each box hides one of seven scented, micro plush characters. The Disney friend-food fusions include Mickey Mouse Gingerbread House (gingerbread scent), Minni Mouse peppermint hot chocolate (chocolate scent), Olaf Marshmallow Sugar Cookie (cereal milk scent), Sven Caramel Drizzle Chai (gingerbread scent), Donald Duck Glazed Baked Brie (cereal milk scent), Pluto Thanksgiving Sandwich (toast scent), and one mystery character (scent is also a mystery).
Disney Wishables plushes are back and ready to celebrate the holidays with this countdown calendar ($149.99). The calendar includes 12 days of mini plushes, with each window teasing who is inside. Some characters have never been made into Wishables before, and others are old favorites, but they are all exclusive versions dressed in holiday attire.
This Droid Factory countdown calendar ($79.99) is shaped like a Sandcrawler, but opening it reveals 24 windows. Behind these windows are interchangeable pieces for Star Wars enthusiasts to build 5 droids, plus one already constructed droid figure.
These three LEGO advent calendars ($44.99 each) are themed to Disney Princesses, Star Wars, or Spider-Man. The Princess version includes character micro dolls instead of the more commonly seen mini figures found in the other two sets. Along with the dolls or figures, the calendar includes accessories and LEGO blocks for the construction of other themed builds.

Disney Holiday Gifts from Cakeworthy
Cakeworthy’s ever-popular and perennially fashionable flannel shirts take on holiday fashion in styles that celebrate Christmas ($54.95) and Hanukkah ($59.95). Both styles have a huge Mickey Mouse graphic on the back with smaller details on the front.
This sherpa beanie ($29.95), also by Cakeworthy, is the perfect gift for that friend who perpetually has Mickey gingerbread cookies on the brain during the holiday season.

Disney Holiday Gifts from Mattel
As the toy’s name suggests, Mattel’s Moana Singing Adventure Doll ($24.99) croons out a tune from “Moana 2,” “We’re back,” when you press her torso. She also comes packaged with a floral crown, oar, and conch shell.
Mattel released a series of dolls inspired by the new “Frozen Winter Festival” YouTube series. They look so similar that we can’t help but wonder if they are actually what Disney used to make the videos. The two standout items were the Elsa & Nokk Adventure Carriage ($49.99) and Olaf’s Treats Sled Playset ($14.99). Both include figures and detailed accessories.
There is no need to remember to buy batteries for the Cars Global Racers Cup GRC Jumping Playset ($39.99); this toy operates on kid-power. With the turn of a crank, a young racing fan brings the action to life with toy car versions of Lightning McQueen and rival Francesco Bernoulli speed, turn, and leap through the multi-level course.

Disney Holiday Gifts from Amazon
“The Ultimate Disney Holidays Sticker Collection” by DK ($12.99) is a treasure trove of wintery stickers of all shapes and sizes. Some of the stickers are intended to be affixed to the cookie-cutter-like spaces on themed pages, almost like a puzzle in a book, or used to create a scene of your own design against winter backdrops. There are also pages more than 5 pages of bonus stickers. These would make for excellent seals on holiday greeting cards or as extra flourish on wrapping paper.
“The Unofficial Disney Parks Holidays Cookbook” by Ashley Craft ($22.99) explores different sips and eats served during different holidays (beyond the winter ones) at the Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts. There are options for every skill level and flavor palate. One of my favorite aspects was the resort maps that showed where every dish was originally served.
You’ll find a more in-depth look at this cookbook, including a sample gingerbread cookie recipe, in this review.
As the title implies, “The Disney Christmas Cookbook” by Joy Howard ($18.99) focuses solely on recipes intended for the holiday season. This kid-friendly cookbook includes 50 recipes inspired by Disney characters, like Rapunzel’s Pumpkin Hazelnut Soup and Pooh Bear’s Mini Honey Buns. The sections are broken down into breakfast, lunch, dinner, sides, snacks, drinks, and desserts. It also includes a “kitchen basics” section to familiarize young chefs with different cooking methods and an index of vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free, and gluten-free recipes.
“Scoundrels, Villains, & Knaves: Disneyland, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Pop Culture” by Foxx Nolte ($29.95) is ideal for fans who want to know absolutely everything about the Pirates of the Caribbean, from the inspiration to the attraction design process to the creation of the movies and everything in between and beyond. A particular highlight for me was a scene-by-scene walkthrough of the original attraction in Disneyland Park, with historical explanations and Imagineer anecdotes mixed in. The text is also peppered with diagrams, floor plans, photos (some historical and others taken by the author), and original art.

These Tamagotchi toys will appeal to Star Wars fans of the newer releases as well as the classics. The Star Wars Grogu Tamagotchi ($27.99) comes with an extra molded silicone case that fits over the electronic toy. The less expensive Star Wars R2-D2 Tamagotchi Classic ($19.99) is just a standalone device. Similar to the original toys (90s kids should remember these), the player nurtures the growth (their forms will change over time) of either Grogu or R2-D2 by interacting with them through themed mini-games and responding to their daily needs. Both devices include fun character cameos, and the digital space chess game Dejarik makes an appearance as one of R2-D2’s mini-games.
Knowledge is an invaluable, lifelong gift, and you can share it with the cooperative card game Secret Clue Animals ($19.99) from National Geographic and Underdog Games. Intended for animal lovers ages 7 and up (although reviews show even younger kids enjoying it), players work together to figure out what animals are hidden on the grid. Because this game was designed to be played with the entire family, the rules are simple and should only take a couple minutes to learn. A game session accommodates 2 to 6 players and typically lasts about 15 minutes.
Ravensburger’s Disney Lorcana is the perfect storm of trading card collectibility and gameplay combined with the charm of beloved Disney characters. But as with any trading card game, there is a learning curve. The aptly named Disney Lorcana Gateway ($24.99) is designed to help new players learn the ropes and give veteran players a way to sharpen their technique. It includes everything two players will need to build their own complete 60-card decks and play together, such as damage counters, character movers, and a game board. Beginners will especially appreciate the guidebook, which features QR codes for how-to videos, plus a rule book and deck tip pamphlets.
Similar to the Disney Munchlings plushes featured in this section, the Disney Crystal Suprise ($7.97) by Cra-Z-Art hides a mystery Disney character. However, the character is presented as a mini crystalline figure rather than a small plush. The figures have color-changing details when exposed to warm water. They come with two small, themed accessories plus a packet of either kinetic sand, slime, or goo (all of which seem to be all the rage with the kids and tweens these days).
After the previous release of ThinkFun’s Disney WordARound game (a game night favorite in my house), it seems only natural for the company to expand to some of Disney’s other licenses. And thus, we have Marvel WordARound ($12.39). The card game challenges players to be the first to find the word in a certain ring on the card. Which ring you are looking at is dictated by the color on the back of the card. The words, which are occasionally names, are related to the Marvel universe, so some players may have an easier time finding the answer than others. But if that is the case, you can always purchase the Disney version instead.
Available just in time for “Moana 2″‘s theatrical release, this silly “Squeeze and Scream” Heihei toy ($14.99) from Jakks-Pacific simply screams “Boat Snack!” Well, actually, it just screams. Squeeze the poor guy’s stomach, and he will scream back at you. But then again, I think I would scream, too, if someone squeezed my stomach.
Bookworms will delight in an advent calendar stuffed with 24 books. The Spidey & His Amazing Friends ($24.99) calendar’s books are the coloring and activity types. The Star Wars ($31.99) style is all storybooks, except for a Grogu coloring book hidden on the final day. The Disney Princess ($31.99) calendar offers the most variety: storybooks, coloring books, quizzes, mazes, and more.
