It’s time to clear some closet space for the next new park-going accessory, Lug‘s Skeeter Mini Convertible Crossbody! The company has partnered with Disney to design this new line of bags, which will make its debut in 2024. Those attending Destination D23 in Orlando this week got a special preview of these bags as well as other upcoming Disney products from Lug. Here’s a look at what’s coming!
Lug Skeeter Mini Convertible Crossbody Bags Blended with Disney Characters
If you aren’t familiar with the brand, Lug’s Skeeter Mini Convertible Crossbody Bag can be slung across the shoulders as a purse or wrapped around the waist fanny pack-style. The accessory includes a main compartment, a top compartment, and a front compartment. The front compartment features a clear ID window on the inside with RFID protection.
The bag’s simple shape works perfectly with these newly revealed Disney character styles.
Lug Bags coming to EPCOT Pavilions
The Germany, Italy, UK, and Canada Pavilions will offer these character-based designs next year.
Mickey adorns the bag for the Germany Pavilion, wearing a feathered hat (seen on the front) and a pair of lederhosen (found on the back). Meanwhile, Minnie headlines the Italy Pavilion’s version, with the colors of the country’s flag seen in her bow. On the back of the bag, Mickey is joined by the phrase “La Vita é Bella.”
The UK Pavilion is represented by Winnie the Pooh. His plush bear ears actually stick out from the front of the bag, which is a nice touch. And Chip takes on the role of spokes-chipmunk for the Canada Pavilion. The buffalo plaid print on the bag hides a Canadian Maple leaf and a Mickey silhouette.
Lug Bags for Disney Festivals and Other Resorts
Beyond the World Showcase Pavilions, two of EPCOT’s popular annual festivals, the International Flower & Garden Festival and the International Festival of the Arts, also see Skeeter Mini representation in the form of Orange Bird and Figment styles. For Disney’s Aulani Resort & Spa on Hawaii’s island of Oahu, Lug has created a bag of Duffy the Disney Bear’s turtle friend, ‘Olu Mel.
The Orange Bird style for the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival 2024 features the citrus-scented avian’s face on the front pocket with his little leafy feathers embroidered on the section behind it. On the back of the bag are Orange Bird’s tail feathers and the dated logo for the festival.
Figment’s horns protrude from the front pocket of the Skeeter Mini. The dragon’s wings, joined by the dated logo for the 2024 EPCOT Festival of the Arts, decorate the back.
The Aulani design featuring the musically talented turtle ‘Olu Mel has the darling fellow’s face on the front with his shell covering the majority of the bag’s backside, accompanied by Aulani’s logo and a patch with the character’s name.
Hopefully, we will also see Skeeter Minis created for the Disneyland Resort and Disney Cruise Line in the future.

2024’s popular RunDisney events includes several accessories, including a water bottle holder.
Circling back to EPCOT Pavilions, these bags certainly look as though they were created for the Park’s UK Pavilion, don’t they?
And this Minnie Mouse-inspired polka-dotted collection is the perfect accompaniment for the all-around Disney traveler. It includes luggage, accessories, and even apparel.
