It feels like we are still recovering from the roller coaster that was D23 Expo 2023, and yet details on what Disney fans can expect for 2024’s convention are now available. Set your calendars to August 9 through 11, 2024 for the next expo. We have new ticketing information for you below, along with some major news on how the event will run.
D23 Expo 2024 Tickets
D23 Expo Tickets will go on sale starting March 26, 2024 (the time has not been announced yet). Additional details to come.
We’re Going to Disneyland!
While the actual expo will continue to be the traditional 3-day-long affair this coming year, the excitement is expanding further to include a daylong pre-convention takeover of Disneyland Park on August 8. It is currently unclear if the park will be closed to the general public that day. Tickets for the Disneyland celebration will be separate from D23 Expo admission.
D23 Expo 2024’s Hall D23 in a New Location
We all love those fabulous panels hosted in Hall D23, but wouldn’t it be much nicer to not have to camp out in those seemingly endless lines? Well, to help (hopefully) solve that problem, the August 11th presentations (which are typically the ones that draw the biggest crowds) will be moved to the Honda Center Arena, which has a greater capacity.
Take Me Out the Ball Game
Disneyland is not the only outside event planned. D23 Expo attendees can also look forward to a visit to Angels Stadium on August 4 to watch the local baseball team, the Anaheim Angels, play against the New York Mets. Like the Disneyland event, entry to the game will be separate from D23 Expo admission.
