Funko Games has once again teamed up with Disney to bring more fun to your family game nights. This Spring, look forward to a new wave of imaginative board games with a little something for everyone, regardless of age. Let’s dive in!

Disney Animated Game ($34.99)

Disney Animated was created as part of the Disney100 Celebration, which honors the 100th anniversary of the Walt Disney Studios. And fittingly, the gameplay centers around creating classic Disney films, such as “Snow White” and “Alice in Wonderland.” Rather than competing, players will work together to add animation, sound, ink & paint, and background art to the movies, with each player having unique abilities to help the others. But watch out – your films’ villains are also present, hoping to impede your progress!

This game accommodates 2 to 4 players ages 10 and up. A typical gameplay session is about 20 minutes per player.

Disney Villains Sinister Spoons Game ($19.99)

This twist on the classic Spoons party game keeps players on their toes in a devilish dash to grab one of the specialty-sculpted character spoons of Captain Hook, Jafar, Ursula, or Maleficent. The traditional game involves a deck of playing cards, which this version forgoes in favor of character cards and numbered tokens.

A gameplay session typically lasts about 20 minutes and can include 4 to 8 players ages 7 and up.

Disney and Pixar’s Cars Launch ‘N’ Race Game ($19.99)

Play as either Lightning McQueen or Mater and compete for the trophy in this kinetic board game. Players will need to watch their speed, however. Going too fast will launch them (literally – the game comes with a track) right back to Tail Light Caverns and far away from the finish line. This is a great game to entertain younger children while helping them practice counting and matching colors and improve their fine motor skills. But there are also more advanced rules for older players.

A typical gameplay session lasts 20 minutes and is intended for either 2 players or teams of 2, ages 3 and up.

Something Wild! Disney Mickey Mouse Card Game – Steamboat Willie Edition ($8.99)

Part of the popular Something Wild! Card Game series, this version features characters from Mickey Mouse’s classic cartoon short “Steamboat Willie” (in Funko Pop! style, of course). To win, you need to match a set of three differently-colored cards with the same number (found in the upper-lefthand corner) or three cards of the same color with consecutive numbers. The game also utilizes a mini Funko Pop! figure in the gameplay, Steamboat Willie, in this edition. But there is also a chance your copy will include a limited-edition metallic variant of the figure instead!

A gameplay session typically lasts about 15 minutes and can include 2 to 4 players ages 6 and up.

Pop! Puzzles – Encanto, Alice in Wonderland, Beauty and the Beast ($14.99 each)

Puzzles have long been a family-friendly hours-long activity. And these three upcoming 500-piece puzzles featuring well-known Disney friends re-imagined as Funko Pop! figures will surely entice both the young and the young at heart. One of the great things about the art used is that they have a good variety of colors and plenty of distinctive patterns for different parts, which makes it much easier to assemble. Which one would you tackle first?
