In this edition of the Disneyland Merchandise Update, we’re starting off by taking a dive into Dr. Strange’s multiverse. And if you aren’t sure how to feel about that, there is an Inside Out collection to help you sort out your emotions. But hold on to your capes and amulets because there’s even more Disney Parks merchandise for us to explore!

The Multiverse of (Merchandise) Madness

Merchandise for Dr. Strange and the Multiverse of Madness is spreading its insanity at the stores of the Disneyland Resort. The greatest variety of items can be found at Downtown Disney’s World of Disney and in Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure.

Apparel and Accessories from Dr. Strange and the Multiverse of Madness

Want to show your love of the movie through your outfit? Here are some options:

I thought this adult T-shirt was a fun design, featuring art imitating a comic book cover (with glow-in-the-dark effects!).

Dr. Strange’s Eye of Agamotto is the central element of these pieces. The women’s pocket tee and the kid’s T-shirt glow in the dark.

Toys from Dr. Strange and the Multiverse of Madness

Where there are superhero movies, action figures are never far behind. Among the selection is a deluxe figurine set, a limited-edition America Chavez figure, and several figures from Hasbro’s Legends Series.

Note that only two of these figures have a “Dr. Strange” logo on the box. On the far-left is one for Dr. Strange and the Multiverse of Madness and the far-right is for the first Dr. Strange film.

Additionally, there is Dr. Strange merchandise created specifically for Disney California Adventure’s Avengers Campus. The first of which is a Mystic Amplifier attachment for the Web Tech Powerband. Beyond creating an image of a portal by spinning the propellers (via a turn of a dial), it also interacts with the Web Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure attraction. Having it equipped (and turned on) causes you to shoot out portals rather than the traditional webs from the ride.

The Spider-Bots sold in the Avengers Campus are also getting in on the action with the newly-released Dr. Strange-themed Tactical Upgrade set of accessories. You still need to buy the base Spider-Bot separately from this set. This is my favorite of the Tactical Upgrades so far.

Express Yourself with Inside Out

This collection of merchandise emphasizes bold colors with a mix of sketch-style art of the characters from Pixar’s Inside Out.

If the art and her name on the front are any indications, Joy is the star of this button-up shirt.

Even if keeping your feelings inside isn’t always the best plan, this hoodie is still a fun design with character art running down one of the sleeves.

This windbreaker and matching jogging pants (sold separately) have similar art on them.

Beyond the personified emotions of Inside Out, other characters are also featured on apparel. Rainbow Unicorn takes the form of a screen-printed image on the front of the jersey-knit dress. And quotes and art of everyone’s favorite imaginary friend, Bing Bong, are all over this adult T-shirt.

Sometimes writing down your feelings can be therapeutic. How fitting, then, that Disney created this lined journal art of Inside Out characters.

For the Love of Loungefly

The majority of the Earidescent Shimmer Collection has already been at the Resort for a number of weeks but we were still waiting on a few items. One of the most notable of the missing items was the Loungefly Mini Backpack, which has finally made its appearance.

Shimmery!

Each monthly series from Mickey Mouse: The Main Attraction Collection includes a pin, Ear Headband, collectible key, plush, and a Mini Backpack and is based on an attraction at Walt Disney World. February’s series is themed to the Pirates of the Caribbean and has finally popped up at the Disneyland Resort after a long delay at the port. Here’s a look at the Pirates of the Caribbean Series Loungefly Mini Backpack.

The latest Loungefly collection, which includes a Mini Backpack, wallet, and hat, is themed to Main Street, USA’s barbershop quartet, the Dapper Dans. The art is in the Funko POP style, giving the Dans large heads with smaller bodies and monochromatic eyes. I don’t know about you, but I think this is SUPER CUTE!

The Main Street Electrical Parade Loungefly Mini Backpacks finally appeared at the Disneyland Resort. When they landed on May 2, they were sold behind the registers at Disneyland’s Emporium and World of Disney in Downtown Disney. The second wave of stock arrived on May 14. If you missed out, don’t worry; more inventory is on the way. They are also expected to be sold on shopDisney at some point.

The front pocket of this Mini Backpack can hold an Ear Headband and the art has glow-in-the-dark elements.

And while they sold out in just barely more than a day when they first appeared at Disneyland (the second wave may still be available), Walt Disney World has them sitting on shelves, completely ignored. The East Coast resort was also the first to get the Main Street Electrical Parade Ear Headband and Spirit Jersey. It is a very frustrating situation, given that the parade is actually at Disneyland and NOT Disney World.

Stitch says “Aloha” to Your Bank Account

We featured a number of Summer-y Stitch items previously but more merchandise has now landed on shelves.

Lilo and Stitch’s cinematic debut was in 2002, making the film 20 years old. And that is precisely what the patch on this plush (located on Stitch’s rear) says. The plush could also be considered a set rather than an individual item as it is a combination of both Lilo and Stitch as they share a coconut beverage.

Two new pieces of kid-sized apparel were spotted, a button-up shirt with a Stitch-filled print and a sundress decorated with a Stitch patch on the bottom.

This plastic water bottle is insulated by a sleeve on the outside, decorated with Stitch in the same art style as the rest of the collection.

More Turning Red Merchandise Turns Up

Pixar’s Turning Red continues to draw fans’ attention. And Disney has responded by releasing additional merchandise for the film. Here are some of the newer items spotted at the Disneyland Resort.

Disneyland Shopping, Disneyland Shopping Update: The Multiverse of Merchandise Madness

Adults may not be allowed to dress in full-on costumes at Disneyland, but this set of Turning Red costume accessories is made with kids at heart in mind. It includes a pair of fingerless gloves designed to look like paws, a headband with red panda ears, and a fluffy red tail with a belt loop.

Beneath the furry cover of this Stationery Set is a mini-journal with tabs, sticker sheets, a zippered pouch, and a gel pen, all secured by a six-ring binder.

There are also new toys to choose from, a figurine set with Meilin (in red panda and human form) and her friends in a plastic carrying case along with a more detailed Meilin doll, bundled with accessories (a red panda suit, pajamas, and a hair brush).

This might be my favorite of the new Turning Red merchandise available at the Resort. It is a bag charm decorated with a dangling plush red panda tail and a metal charm of Meilin making “heart eyes.”

Toys, Toys, And More Toys

This Goofy nuiMOs Plush was the toy line’s big release for May.

Disneyland Shopping, Disneyland Shopping Update: The Multiverse of Merchandise Madness

Despite being released on shopDisney in early April, the Moana nuiMOs Plush arrived at the Resort much later. I guess the Wayfinder got a little lost.

Disneyland Shopping, Disneyland Shopping Update: The Multiverse of Merchandise Madness

Another May release was the Fashion Collection #7 of nuiMOs outfits. They have a Summer vibe to them.

This Orange Bird Big Feet Plush is soft, huggable, and smells like oranges!

Disneyland Shopping, Disneyland Shopping Update: The Multiverse of Merchandise Madness

There is now a large variety of different Winnie the Pooh character plushes (including some rarer ones like Roo!) and some come in both small and large sizes. At present, there are large versions of Pooh and Eeyore but I would not be surprised to see Tigger get the same treatment.

Disneyland Shopping, Disneyland Shopping Update: The Multiverse of Merchandise Madness

The most recent Disney Designer Collection Doll to arrive is Merida, the heroine from Brave. Her look was created by Wes Jenkins, an apparel designer for Disney. He also previously designed a line of Disney character-inspired nuiMOs outfits alongside Ashley Eckstein.

Even the family dog can look forward to a new toy from your next trip to Disneyland. This Stuffed Ice Cream Truck Dog Toy has three removable ice cream treats for your pup to play with (along with the truck itself).

Odds & Ends

Pets of all kinds (or most kinds) can make use of this food bowl and dining mat (sold separately).

Beyond the Loungefly Mini Backpack, another recent piece of Main Street Electrical Parade Merchandise was this Light-Up Wall Decor. It uses the same art seen on the rest of the items released for the parade’s return.

Another long-awaited piece of Main Street Electrical Parade merchandise arrived, the Spirit Jersey. With Mickey Mouse as parade leader on the shirt’s front and Elliott the Dragon on the back (along with the logo), this is the ideal wearable for fans of the 50-year-old parade. And the art features glow-in-the-dark accents!

The Fairy Princess Ear Headband got a redesign and, frankly, it appears to be a downgrade. Is it just me or do the “ears” look like they could double as loofahs?

Disneyland Shopping, Disneyland Shopping Update: The Multiverse of Merchandise Madness

Few things say warm-weather vacations like apparel with palm fronds in the print, which is what you’ll find on this Mickey Mouse short sleeve shirt and Spirit Jersey. Both of the pieces feature buttons down the front (yes, the Spirit Jersey is a button-up).

This Mary Poppins-inspired tank top is especially interesting because the tag doesn’t say “Disney” but “20th Century Studios.”

Igloo’s New Mickey & Friends Playmate Coolers are All Kinds of Cool

I have distinct memories of taking an Igloo Cooler, stuffed with soda and sandwiches, with me on beach days. My 10-year-old self would have been thrilled to own one of these cooler styles. Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, drawn in their classic style, are each featured on the 7-quart capacity Little Playmate Coolers. And for when you need to store more food, there is the 14-quart Playmate Classic Cooler, decorated with Mickey and Minnie on the top. The famous mouse couple is joined by Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, and Goofy on the side panels.

These special-edition Igloo Coolers are only available while supplies last:

In addition to these three special-edition coolers, Igloo’s entire Disney Collection has even more character options. It also has some inspired by Disney villains and Pixar characters plus additional Mickey and pals designs.
