Have your outfits been missing a little pizzaz, or perhaps a little sparkle? Well, in today’s Disneyland Merchandise Update we’ll explore items that add some Disney flair and function to your wardrobe as well as your home. Plus we’ll take a look at even more merchandise for The Mandalorian’s The Child and perhaps the sweetest LEGO set in existence. Make room in your closets, and let’s get started!
Accessories for You
This Ear Headband was created to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Disney California Adventure. The fuzzy ears both have embroidered art of the Pixar Pal-a-Round (or Mickey’s Fun Wheel, if you would prefer). The side of the headband has a colorful logo for Disney California Adventure on it.
A redesign of a previous release, this Bridal Ear Headband has an organza veil dotted with faux pearls. The ears are covered with a glittery fabric, with a satin bow in the middle.
Another entry in the Designer Ears Collection has landed, this time coming to us from the mind of Disney artist Alex Maher. This cartoony piece of headwear has an old-school drawing of Mickey Mouse on one ear with a quote from Walt Disney on the other. And, of course, the base is covered with images of Mickey throughout the years.
This Donald Duck baseball cap is probably a bit more useful than the other headwear pieces we’ve seen here. It has a distressed look, with faded art and frayed edging on the bill. I really like this one. I find the classic Donald art combined with the muted colors very appealing. What about you all?
These Dooney & Bourke bags are an odd find, given the location. The print, which includes Minnie Mouse surrounded by flowers, was created for the EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival currently taking place at Walt Disney World. But if you happen to be on the West Coast, you’ll find these beauties at the Disney Dress Shop.
We found two new animal printed accessories this week. The first being a card case with Minnie’s bow (in cheetah colors) as the closure, with different other animal styles for the card holders. And the second is a small fanny pack, covered in cheetah print. Be on the look-out for Hidden Mickeys in that one.
Like the Sulley style we saw a week or so ago, these Mickey and Minnie sling bags put the “fun” in “functional.” They don’t hold too much (just about enough room for your phone, wallet, and spare mask) but they are so darn cute! You can wear them over your shoulder or back, across your chest, or even as a fanny pack. Although, I will note that, with the placement of the zipper in the center of the plush’s back, that last option isn’t the best choice.
Accessories for Your House
There is a new brand of water receptacle in town. While many a park guest will remember seeing Tervis-branded products on the shelves, they are now joined by several new items from Corkcicle, in the form of travel tumblers and water bottles. Whether or not Corkcicle will completely replace Tervis in the travel tumbler department is unclear but we will keep our eyes on this one.
In addition to the new Corkcicle items, these flip-top character canteens are now available. Their capacity isn’t very much but given that they are likely intended to worn on the shoulder via the attached strap, you probably would not want them to be all that heavy.
Jerrod Maruyama x Disney Parks Collection
Artist Jerrod Maruyama recently collaborated with Disney to create this special Disney Parks Collection of home goods, featuring Parks icons drawn in his signature cute style.
Here we see the tray from the collection.
This set of four plates includes art of Cinderella’s Castle, the White Rabbit in a teacup, a José from the Tiki Room bird, and one of the Dumbo ride vehicles.
This is the collection’s cake stand. You’ll notice that it has the same art as that on the tray.
This set of nesting bowls would make a lovely housewarming gift.
This tumbler with straw is really something special. The domed lid is decorated with a diorama featuring miniature figures based on Jerrod Maruyama’s art along with little, loose beads that bounce around.
As awesome as the tumbler with straw is (and I think it is pretty dang awesome), I actually like this stainless steel travel tumbler more. Besides having a great variety of art on it, the tumbler is double-walled and uses a button on the top to open and close the lid for sips of your beverage.
The succulents in these resin planters are fake, which makes sense in a way since people may need to travel with their souvenirs. Choose between Dumbo or the White Rabbit (or both, of course!).
Transitioning over into softer territory, we have this fleece throw.
And this throw pillow is bound to be a top seller. Made in the shape of an Ear Hat, it has a stylized Mickey emblem on the front and Mickey’s signature embroidered on the back.
Clothing In-Store
No doubt made to match the animal print accessories we saw earlier, these bunched tank top and leggings will help you complete the look.
These shirts, which were spotted over at the Wonderground Gallery. The first shirt feel rather out-of-place as it features the PeopleMover, a beloved attraction that hasn’t been at Disneyland since 1995. Don’t pour salt in that wound, Disney! The second shirt is designed in a similar style but with Space Mountain being the subject.
Some new baby onesies also landed at World of Disney, one with Minnie Mouse and another with Dumbo. The phrases used on them are fittingly cute. My favorite is the “New Girl on Main Street USA” one for Minnie.
Toys Galore
March’s nuiMOs releases are headlined with the addition of two new plushes, Kermit and Miss Piggy from the Muppets. This is notable because these characters were not imported over from Japan or China but instead are brand new! I especially love the different texture used on Kermit to match the look of his Muppet character.
Kermit and Miss Piggy brought with them a variety of new outfits, which can be used for all of the nuiMOs. Which ones are your favorites?
Pegasus from Hercules is the latest character to join the ranks of the Big Feet Plush line. The plush not only has the anticipated “big feet” but also teeny little wings and fluffy tufts of blue fur for his mane and tail.
Ah yes, Monopoly. I can’t say I have ever gotten through an entire playthrough of this game but maybe this one with its Disney Parks theme could convince me to give it another try.
Odds and Ends
If your AirPods or AirPods Pro looking too naked for your liking, these Sleeping Beauty Castle cases not only give them a magical makeover but also provide a bit of extra protection. They even have an attached clasp so you clip them to your bag.
Raya and the Last Dragon is now available in theaters and on Disney+ with Premier Access and to celebrate the grand event, various stores at the Disneyland Resort now stock themed merchandise. If you can’t make it over to the Resort, you’ll find the same items at Disney Stores and on shopDisney.

LEGO Visits the Hundred Acre Wood
Created by Ben Adler through LEGO Ideas (a fan idea submission platform), this Winnie the Pooh set is the stuff Disney dreams are made of. The set will consist of a total of 1265 pieces and also include figures of Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, Rabbit, and Eeyore, each with their own accessories. Once constructed, Pooh’s house can be opened up to reveal the rooms inside.
The LEGO Ideas Winnie the Pooh set will be available for LEGO VIP members on March 18 with a general release on April 1. You’ll be able to purchase it at LEGO stores as well as on the LEGO online store. It will cost $99.99.
