Disneyland will be 65 years old on July 17 and while there is currently no news on the actual theme park reopening (although you can visit Downtown Disney now), we can still celebrate with themed merchandise. Some of the items shown here will be available for purchase through a special online merchandise event on July 14 at 10am Pacific. You can then choose to pick up your goods from Downtown Disney between July 24 through 27 or simply have them shipped to your home.
The Disneyland 65th Anniversary Collection
There will be 20 items for sale during the online event. The Disney Parks Blog previewed a handful, but you can see all of the items on the event’s page. There’s something for just about everyone. I think the items most likely to sell out first will be the Spirit Jersey, the Loungefly mini backpack, and the trading pins.
Please note that many of these items are ALREADY FOR SALE at the World of Disney in the newly reopened Downtown Disney Anaheim. Here are some photos from Dusty Sage on the reopening day of World of Disney:
Out of those 20 items for sale, 6 are exclusive to Disneyland Annual Passholders. I am particularly excited about the Wishables Chaser Abominable Snowman. That suggests there will be a Disneyland 65th Anniversary Series of Wishables, and with my obsession with Wishables, I am all for that.
shopDisney Joins In
In addition to the 20 pieces of merchandise from the online shopping event, shopDisney will sell exclusive commemorative lithographs. They will be available starting July 17 at 7am Pacific. Note that this is a different location, date, and time than that of the other merchandise.
