It’s been a while since our last look around the Disneyland Resort for new merchandise. And there’s quite a bit to see. With the release of Avengers: Endgame, there have been some Avengers related items spotted around the resort. And there are all sorts of new mugs, toys, pins. And did we mention shirts, shirts, shirts?

Over at World of Disney in the Downtown Disney District, a merchandise display dedicated to Avengers: Endgame has been set up. Some of the new pieces available are apparel for adults as well as kids, hats, and Funko POP! figures.
There is a new Disney Dream Friends pillow, found in the Marvel section of World of Disney. But instead of a cute plush of a character like Pluto or Stitch, this one is made in the likeness of Captain America’s shield. A bit unconventional but it works.
Pin traders seeking Avengers-branded pins might want to make a stop at Little Green Men Store Command, located in Tomorrowland. They have Endgame specific items along with more general Marvel pins.
A Cornucopia of Clothing
We mentioned that there were a lot of shirts around the resort. Here’s a collection of new shirts that caught my eye.
With the new live-action Aladdin film coming out this month, it makes sense that more merchandise themed to the original film would appear in the Parks. Here is an adult-sized shirt referencing the Genie.
The Emperor’s New Groove is a vastly under-appreciated film in my opinion. So, I am always thrilled whenever I see merchandise from it. And yes, Kuzco is a total “Drama Llama.”
The Jungle Book’s Baloo is featured on this shirt, obviously geared towards fathers. It is nice to see a men’s character shirt with someone other than Grumpy on it.
The new shirt parade continues with a shirt bearing a retro Duck Tales image and another with art referencing the Disney-Pixar movie, Coco.
This Luxo Ball shirt was spotted at Knick’s Knacks on Pixar Pier in Disney California Adventure.
I honestly don’t know how to feel about this kids’ shirt design below. Yes, it made me laugh, but it also felt a bit like Disney was trying too hard to be “hip.” What do you think?
Dress to Impress
We spotted this new handbag, made in the image of the Ellie Badge from Disney-Pixar’s Up, over at The Disney Dress Shop in the Downtown Disney District. It goes perfectly with the Up-inspired dress released last month.
Also new is this Mickey Mouse dress and cardigan, sold as a set. The pattern in the skirt is filled with Mickey Mouse photos and images. The outfit coordinates with the Dooney & Bourke Mickey’s Celebration Collection of handbags and purses, which mirrors the skirt’s print.
What’s New in New Orleans Square
Head over to Port Royal Curios and Curiosities and you’ll find several new pieces of Haunted Mansion merchandise. This pair of socks starring the attraction’s Hitchhiking Ghost trio is a fun addition.
This Madam Leota iPhone case is a first for the Parks. It has a built-in Popsocket, which you may have guessed is Madam Leota’s crystal ball.
The latest in the Haunted Mansion limited release plush set includes Master Gracey and a knight. The set is available for purchase at Port Royal and Disneyana (located on Main Street, USA). This is the fourth in a five-part set. Any guesses as to what the last one will contain?
As of April 30, those Hitchhiking Ghost Easter eggs were still available inside Port Royal. Given the frenzy over the release, that was quite a surprise.
Cross the courtyard into Pieces of Eight to find this kid’s costume, made in the likeness of Redd the lady pirate, formerly the redhead from the old auction scene.
If you are a big fan of Redd’s, she has a plush, too.
And speaking of plush toys, the plushes of Mickey, Minnie, and Pluto as pirates have been redesigned. The previous ones were made in the art style from the Mickey Shorts. These match the newer general plush redesigns (larger pupils, reshaped mouths, etc.). Which do you prefer?
The Circle of Merch
A large wave of Lion King merchandise was recently scattered all over the Resort. Loungefly released a full-size backpack with a pattern filled with the film’s colorful characters. If you are feeling regal but need to shield your head from the sun, a cap with the words “Long Live the King” and the silhouette of Simba on Pride Rock should fit the bill.
This hooded women’s tank top is a fun piece. It has lion ears on the hood and a patterned kangaroo pocket. It can be found in the Adventureland Bazaar.
Other adult shirts were spotted in several locations throughout the Resort, such as the Emporium on Main Street, USA, and World of Disney in the Downtown District.
These two kids shirts are also available in adult sizes, allowing the whole family to wear matching outfits. The Hakuna Matata one is a Spirit Jersey. You can find more in our Spirit Jersey guide.
Mugs of Magic
These four Star Wars mugs were released just in time for May the 4th AKA Star Wars Day.
There is a new series of figural mugs with paintbrushes for handles and quotes from the movie on the inside rim. The films represented are The Lion King, The Sword and The Stone, and Moana.
The last new mug we found is inspired by Rainbow Unicorn of Disney-Pixar’s Inside-Out. This character has been getting a lot of (well-deserved) love lately in the merchandise department. You’ll also find a unicorn hat with her likeness on it plus one other item which we will get to very soon.
Toys for Girls and Boys (and Adults, too)
I told you we would get to it soon. Rainbow Unicorn now has her very own plush! My only complaint is that she doesn’t look as cool and collected (or is that apathetic?) as she does in the film. The happy smile is cute and all, but it doesn’t match what we see on the screen.
Bambi and Mr. Toad were added to the Classic Cozy Knits line as limited release plushes. As with all the others in this line, they are made of knitted material.
Celebrating your birthday is a great reason to visit the Disneyland Resort. And this new Stich plush is here to help with the festivities. The candles in his hands and on his head light up with the press of a button.
Another series of Wishables is also available at the Resort. This one is the Buzz Lightyear Attraction series, themed to Buzz Lightyear’s Astro Blasters in Disneyland and Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin in Walt Disney World. The chaser is one of the Little Green Men while the mystery bags contain either Emperor Zurg, Buzz Lightyear, Boxobot, or an XP-40 Space Cruiser (the ride vehicle). Other new plushes include Lady from Lady and the Tramp, Mufasa of The Lion King, and Moana in a new outfit. It should be noted that both Mufasa and Moana have colorful film-specific tags similar to those found at the Disney Store and shopDisney rather than the standard Disney Parks silver one.
With Fancy Nancy joining the Disney Junior Dance Party in Disney California Adventure, some of her merchandise has materialized on Buena Vista Street.
These new light-up Tinker Bell wings caught my eye. They’re a welcome change from the light-up spinners and bubble wands. And they’ll fit smaller adults, too.
This one is not necessarily a toy, but is themed to Toy Story 4. Bo Peep joins Woody and Buzz Lightyear as Loungefly mini-backpacks. The latter two were released in March.
