A beloved family pet can be a magical member of the family. And even if they can’t visit Disney, you can bring a bit of Disney home to them. The Disney Tails line of products is a great way to sprinkle an extra dose of pixie dust to your furry friends. The product variety is impressive, and we’ll walk you through what’s currently available at the Disneyland Resort!
Mickey and Minnie Themed Pet Items
Mickey Mouse and his favorite gal, Minnie, are the inspiration for a good deal of the Disney Tails products. These pet beds would fit a cat or smaller dog quite nicely. Both beds have mouse ears on the top.
There is also a slightly larger, uncovered dog bed available. It even comes with a toy bone that matches the fabric on the bed’s inner lining!
This pet blanket matches the larger dog bed’s pattern and would make a great gift for any pup that loves cuddling under blankets.
Your pet can full-on cosplay as Mickey or Minnie with the help of themed collars, comfort harnesses, and even mouse ear headbands designed just for them.
These food bowls with matching feeding mats (each sold separately) are also themed to our favorite Disney couple.
Playtime is important for pets and, Disney Tails has some imaginative toys made especially for your good boy or girl. There are tug-of-war ropes and balls for fetching, both in a black and white Mickey silhouette pattern. And there’s an abundance of squeaky toys! Mickey’s shoe, Minnie’s bow, and a Mousekateer ear hat are made of plush materials. Meanwhile, the Mickey Waffle and Mickey Bar toys are both made of rubber.
Dapper Day 2019 at Disneyland is April 14 and with these collar accessories, your pets can join in the dapper spirit! The bowtie has a Mickey and friends print based off of the resort’s 2019 merchandise. And of course, Minnie’s plush bow is simply too cute!
Haunted Mansion Themed Pet Items
Designed to resemble the costumes worn by the cast members for the Haunted Mansion, these comfort harnesses win the “Best Idea Ever” Award. Who wouldn’t want to dress up their fur baby as a Ghost Host? No one! No one, I tell you!
If you want to show your love for the home of those 999 Happy Haunts in a more subtle fashion, there is also a 3-bandana set. One covered in the familiar wallpaper pattern, another in a print with the beloved Haunted Mansion residents in a cartoony style, and the last mimics the men’s cast member costume, much like one of the two comfort harnesses.
Even more subtle are the collars and leads that also have the Haunted Mansion’s wallpaper print.
There’s that wallpaper again! This time, it’s on a set of play balls. Accompanying the print are the Hitchhiking Ghosts. Also, there’s a squeaky toy is of Madame Leota’s tombstone, found in the queue in the Magic Kingdom’s Haunted Mansion.
Star Wars Themed Pet Items
With Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opening soon at Disneyland, it makes perfect sense for Disney Tails to pay homage to original stories set in a galaxy far, far away. You can dress your pet up as R2-D2 with the themed comfort harness.
And like the Haunted Mansion, 3-Bandana sets are also available but this time, there are two options. There is the Rebel Alliance-themed set with a bandana mimicking the comfort harness, another with a print of R2-D2 and C-3P0, and finally, a print covered with Ewoks. The other choice is the Galactic Empire set, which has one has one bandana reminiscent of Darth Vader’s suit, another with a pattern similar to the shell of the Death Star, and the last with a print starring series baddies like Storm Troopers and Boba Fett.
If you are just looking for the basics, collars and leads might be more your speed. Like the bandana sets, there are Alliance and Empire options for both types of products. It is hard to tell with them bundled up but once unfolded, the leads resemble lightsabers.
Once again, there is a choice between the Alliance or the Empire for the balls. The Empire’s set has a Storm Trooper’s helmet on the side, while the Alliance’s one features R2-D2. Or you can pretend your pet is an Ewok and give them a squeaky toy fashioned after a Storm Trooper’s helmet.
Both the Alliance’s and the Empire’s emblems are present on this food bowl.
Dog Treats
Sometimes you want to reward your dog with edible gifts instead and Disney Tails has you covered in that arena, too! They come in two flavors, bacon and molasses. We spotted them in shapes like Mickey’s head and something akin to a Darth Vader gingerbread man.

If you read our Spirit Jersey recent guide (and you totally should!), you would know that a pet-sized variety of the item is also available. Currently, the only colors available are Potion Purple and Black.
