Orbitkey expanded its already popular Disney Collection with even more products and characters for fans to collect. In addition to their initial launch of Urban Sling bags and Quick Release Rings, the company recently released themed Loop Keychains and Key Organizers, as well as a Stitch Travel Sling bag that launched today (December 10)! Join me as I break down why these items are a worthwhile addition to your wardrobe as well as your Disney Parks day outfit.

NEW! Orbitkey’s Stitch Travel Sling Is Ready for Take-Off
Everyone’s favorite fluffy extra-terrestrial, Stitch, is the theme of Orbitkey’s newest release in their Disney Collection, a Travel Sling bag. This is the first of this style of bag included in this collection. The Travel Sling’s dimensions are 6.9 inches by 10.4 by 1.6 inches when closed.
Stitch’s likeness and color scheme are captured on this Travel Sling. Stitch himself appears on the bag’s front, joined by Disney and Orbitkey’s logos. On the backside, you’ll spot Stitch’s pawprint and signature.
The inside hides Stitch’s silhouette and the message “Aloha, world!”

Thanks to its accordion-like sides, the degree to which the Travel Sling opens is impressive, and makes it easy to locate the items inside when desired. Not only are both on the interior sides lined with RFID-blocking pockets, but there is also ample storage space in the center.

The back of the bag hides an additional RFID-blocking zippered pocket. Since it sits flush against your body when worn, this is an excellent space to store your passport while traveling.

Another feature that is especially handy while traveling is the bag’s anti-theft mechanism. The two zipper pulls on the bag’s main compartment have large, sturdy loops that can be hooked onto the strap’s clasps, preventing them from being moved without your knowledge.

Orbitkey’s Stitch Travel Sling costs $99.
NEW! New Accessories Added to Disney x Orbitkey Collection
After the success of the initial launch of the Orbitkey’s Disney Collection, character-themed styles of the company’s Loop Keychains and Key Organizers were released. In addition to the Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck versions of these items that will be explored in this section, other familiar friends, like Minnie, Goofy, and Pluto, are available.

The art used on the Loop Keychains takes its cue from the designs on the matching Urban Sling bags from this collection (which is reviewed in the following section). It incorporates aspects of both Mickey and Donald’s outfits and colors chemes on the front, while featuring the pair’s rear ends and signatures on the backside for a humorous touch.
Orbitkey’s Loop Keychains open and close using a mechanism similar to their Quick Release Rings (which are reviewed further down in this article with an included video demonstration). The process is relatively smooth and easy, certainly preferable to potentially breaking nails while attempting to wedge a key onto a traditional keychain.

The Key Organizers use the same art as the Loop Keychains for both Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck.
And like the Loop Keychains, these also come with instructions. It should be noted that the organizers are intended to carry between 2 and 7 keys. If you attempt to hold only one, it has a tendency to swing around rather than be contained within the handle as it typically would.

The Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck Loop Keychains are $39 each. The matching Key Organizers are $34 each.
Hands-On with the Disney x Orbitkey Collection
Orbitkey provided me with two versions of their Urban Sling bags and one of their Quick Release Rings, all from their Disney Collection. We’ll look at the bags first.
Key Features of the Disney x Orbitkey Urban Sling
This collection’s full-size Sling bags include designs inspired by two classic Disney friends: Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck. And while the Mickey Mouse style is certainly an iconic look, I was much more enamored with Donald Duck’s bag (and given that that bag’s initial release sold out within 48 hours, I am not alone; it has since restocked).

Adding Character to the Design
There is something so comical about Donald’s duck rear being used on a bag that I couldn’t help but adore it. If you look at the backside of the bag, you’ll spot Donald Duck’s autograph on the bottom-right corner.

Mickey’s bag utilizes Mickey’s button shorts as the central motif, with the Big Cheese’s signature on the back, in the identical place as Donald’s on his bag.

Both bags share the same print on their lining, dotted with Mickey and his pals’ silhouettes. It is simple, but the light-colored base makes it easy to find things inside the bag, as shown in the following photos.
Putting the “Fun” in “Functional”
The Urban Sling includes two compartments, both secured with zippers that appear to have a water-resistant treatment on their edging. And while we are on that topic, the entire bag is made of water-resistant materials, which is especially helpful if you are a fan of Disney attractions that tend to get you soaked (I am looking at you, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure).

The external metal ring, custom-made specifically for Orbitkey, can hold your keys (perhaps using Orbitkey’s Quick Release Ring, which we will discuss further on), a reel pass case, or almost anything that can be hooked onto a ring.

Here’s a look inside the front compartment. This is the larger of the two. It hides a zippered pocket on the inside of the flap and two open pockets on the opposite side, accompanied by a key loop and a cable pass-through slot. The latter allows you to store a portable battery in the front compartment while charging your phone, which could be in the back compartment.

The back compartment is slimmer, more like a generous sleeve. The wall facing the main compartment has two open pockets, with one sitting underneath the cable pass-through slot.

Taking it for a Test Drive
I used the Urban Sling as my day bag for an outing to test its capacity, comfort, and ease of use. These are my findings:
Capacity
Let’s start off with the things I stored in the bag:
- A set of bamboo dining utensils
- An iPad Mini, A17 Pro model (not pictured)
- A portable battery
- A USB-C to USB-C cable to connect the portable battery to my devices
- A folding shopping bag
- A pair of AirPods Pro inside their case
- A chapstick
- A ballpoint pen
- A spare KN95 face mask (which fits perfectly in the zippered pocket in the front compartment)
- A wallet
- A reel pass case, clipped onto the ring on the Urban Sling’s strap
- A key on an Orbitkey Quick Release Ring (you can read more about this item in the next section)
The bag actually had space to hold even more of my belongings, if I so chose, but there wasn’t anything else that I needed and didn’t want to be weighed down. However, I did want to mention that my phone, which is an iPhone 15 Pro in an Otterbox protective case, could not fit properly in the pocket part of the back compartment. It was too tall, making it impossible to zip the bag closed in that position; laying the phone on its side in the larger, non-pocket portion of the back compartment rectified the issue, though.

Comfort
The bag’s strap was of a comfortable width, not too narrow to cut into my shoulders and wide enough to support the weight of the bag. Also, as someone who is occasionally averse to certain textures, I was pleased with the smoothness of the strap’s fabric.
Walking for prolonged periods of time while wearing the bag was not an issue. I found it substantially more comfortable to slide it slightly so the pouch was resting across my back while I was in motion. Fortunately, readjusting the bag’s position is easy and does not require removing it.
Ease of use
As I mentioned previously, I had an issue fitting my iPhone into the pocket of the back compartment. My (admittedly, very bulky) wallet had a similar issue to some extent. It could fit in the pocket, but getting it in and out was not a very smooth experience. This was remedied by affixing the wallet’s attached chain, which may have been part of the issue, to the key loop in the main compartment and storing it there. Aside from that, there really were no issues to speak of, however.

The Donald Duck Orbitkey Urban Sling and the Mickey Mouse Orbitkey Urban Sling cost $99 each. It should be noted that Orbitkey’s website listing omits the word “urban” from the product name, but the actual product’s label describes it as such.
A Quick Look at Orbitkey Quick Release Ring
And now, let’s move on to the Quick Release Ring.
The most notable detail for this stainless steel accessory is its debossed Mickey Mouse portrait on the charm, which also serves as the ring’s lock.

The Quick Release Ring features a unique mechanism inside the charm, allowing you to easily add or remove keys from the ring without needing additional tools or damaging your nails. Each Quick Release Ring comes with an illustrated guide with instructions for the entire process.
And for a better example of how easy the process is, please take a look at this video:
The Mickey Mouse Orbitkey Quick Release Ring costs $19.90.
More from the Disney x Orbitkey Collection
In addition to Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck, the Disney x Orbitkey Collection stars Urban Slings of the same size with designs modeled after Pixar pals Woody and Buzz Lightyear. These two bags cost the same amount as the Mickey and Donald versions and have the same features.
And if you are hoping for something a little smaller, the collection includes the Urban Sling Mini in Minnie Mouse and Alien styles. This bag, priced at $75 each, also includes the same features but has a smaller storage capacity. Its main compartment measurements are 5.71 by 9.84 by 2.36 inches at their fullest, compared to the others’ 7.09 by 10.83 by 3.94 inches at their fullest.
Additionally, there are various styles of the Quick Release Ring featuring both Disney and Pixar characters as options. They each cost the same as the Mickey Mouse Quick Release Ring.
