Disney Pastel Collection by Loungefly – Ear Headbands ($44.99 each) and Mini Backpacks ($100 each)

Pastels are often considered Spring-y colors, so the mini backpacks and ear headbands of the Disney Pastel collection are a fitting inclusion for this guide. The collection releases a new character-based set each month (March’s set, based on Figaro, launches on March 10), with the two currently available being January’s Cheshire Cat and February’s Winnie the Pooh styles.

Disney’s recent collaboration with the Little Words Project led to a plethora of different Disney-themed bracelets. Most of the available styles are only found within Disney Parks, but a few are also sold online at the Disney Store. Which one is your favorite?

Plushes

Disney Character Easter Bunny Plushes ($29.99 each): Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Stitch, and Angel

Behold the perfect centerpieces for your Easter baskets! These Disney friends have donned fuzzy Easter Bunny suits (complete with dated embroidery on the left foot). Mickey and Minnie Mouse measures 17 inches tall. Stitch and Angel, however, are 14 inches tall, but that is because of their pose.

Winnie the Pooh Disney Mini Mix-It Easter Plush ($19.99)

This next plush is part of Disney’s new Mini Mix-It series, which launched in January. These 8-inch tall plushes have little costume hats that can be swapped amongst the different characters. But that isn’t the only thing that makes them special. Mini Mix-its can attach themselves to bag straps and the like courtesy of a velcro-secured flap on the plush’s back. This style is of Winnie the Pooh with a blue bunny cap decorated with a bowtie at the bottom (a rather endearing touch).

Deluxe Figure Sets: Winnie the Pooh ($26.99) and Toy Story 30th Anniversary ($24.99)

Why hide eggs for the kiddos to find when you can hide small figures instead? These deluxe figure sets also make great cake decorations for birthday parties (be sure to keep them away from candles, though). Woody, Bo Peep, Ham, Slinky Dog, and Rex from the Toy Story set are also posable!

OOOoooOOOh! This pair of 7-inch-tall Aliens from Toy Story recite phrases from the original Pixar movie, such as “I have been chosen! Farewell, my friends. When placed near other interactive Toy Story figures, which include Disney Store’s Interactive Buzz, Woody, Bullseye, Jessie, Rex, Forky, or Zurg, these otherworldly playthings are different quotes to fit their companions.

“I Know Dino!” By Sabrina Ricci and Garret Kruger ($16.99)

The hosts of the popular podcast I Know Dino! Sabrina Ricci and Garret Kruger share their knowledge and demonstrate how our perception of dinosaurs has evolved over time as more discoveries were made. This 112-page book is packed with colorful illustrations to help bring their words to life. And not only that, but it also includes dino profiles that show how our first impressions have changed (we mistakenly used to believe that the backplates of a Stegosaurus laid flat like a turtle’s shell, for example), plus sidebars full of mysteries yet to be solved, profiles of dinosaurs of the silver screen, more. National Geographic Photo Ark Babies: Growing Up in the Animal World” By Joel Sartore ($30)

Whether you enjoy pretty pictures, cute baby animals, or both, Joel Sartore’s works in this 208-page coffee table-worthy book will catch your interest. It includes more than 120 photographs of all types of baby critters, from newborns (like a five-day-old white-tailed deer fawn on the cover) to an eight-week-old white Bengal tiger cub and even a look inside an eyelash frog’s egg before it hatches. Beyond the pictures, readers can enjoy learning more about animal parenting practices, how behaviors change as animals mature, and more.

“Wings of Starlight” by Allison Saft ($18.99)

Pixie Hollow fans, this one is definitely up your alley. Set in the universe of the Tinker Bell animated films, this 400-page novel by Allison Saft takes back to a time before a certain precocious pixie took the stage and instead sets the spotlight on Pixie Hollow’s Queen Clarion in her youth. Follow her trials as she ventures into the Winter Woods and makes an unlikely alliance with Milori, a guardian of that frozen land. There’s a beautiful yet bittersweet romance to be found in this one, as anyone familiar with Tinker Bell: Secret of the Wings has likely already surmised (you’ll want to watch it immediately after the book, too!), and it is one well worth a read.

Kitchen Goods
