Disney merchandise has been popping up like fresh popcorn, and this time, we’ve got two timely, exclusive collections from BoxLunch celebrating Disney movie milestones: the premiere of Moana 2 and the 10th anniversary of Big Hero 6. Moana 2 Merchandise Collection from BoxLunch
Moana 2 sails into theaters on November 27, 2024. These BoxLunch-exclusive items are great choices to wear on your visit to the cinema or celebrate the voyager princess any day of the year.
Moana 2 Apparel
The bright (but thankfully not “too bright”) greens and pinks in the Te Fiti women’s hoodie ($64.90, also available in plus sizes) and Pua and Hei Hei Hisbiscus women’s sweater ($59.90, also available in plus sizes) harken back to the lush landscapes found on tropical islands.
For those who prefer an earth-toned color scheme in their wardrobe, I would suggest the patterned women’s cardigan ($64.90, also available in plus sizes) or the floral icons cinched smock dress ($59.90, also available in plus sizes). The cardigan hides familiar characters and icons, such as Gramma Tala’s manta ray and Pua, into its woven design, accented with appliqué of Moana, her raft, and a hibiscus with the Heart of Te Fiti. The dress uses a floral motif sprinkled with images of Moana and her friends along the skirt. And ladies, it has pockets!
Is it just me, or is that the font from Sponge Bob Squarepants? Well, either way, this baseball jersey ($59.90) is a colorful unisex shirt that would suit anyone looking to show their love of Moana and her tale. The “16” on the front and back of the shirt pays homage to the original movie’s debut date of November 23, 2016. You’ll also spot the Heart of Te Fiti and Gramma Tala’s manta ray on the front and a Pua patch on the left sleeve.
These sleep pants ($29.90; women’s plus sizes are also available) are another unisex item. The fabric is made from a polyester-spandex blend, decorated with our gal Moana in various heroic poses.
Moana 2 Pins
Simea is Moana’s kid sister, a new character introduced in Moana 2 and featured on both of these enamel pins from Loungefly. The Moana & Simea pin ($9.90) is a simple style with the two characters posing. The Simea, Pua, & Hei Hei pin ($12.90) has a sliding element that allows Hei Hei to pop up and duck behind Pua.
This silly Maui lenticular enamel pin ($10.90), also from Loungefly, is my favorite of the Moana 2 merchandise featured. Maui’s “Oh great, what now?” expression on his shark face is a perfect comedic contrast to his usual confident Demi-god one, and you get both of them on one pin, courtesy of the lenticular art. Big Hero 6 Merchandise Collection from BoxLunch
Big Hero 6 first landed in theaters on November 7, 2014. Most of the exclusive merchandise from this 10th-anniversary collection is geared towards cold weather use (it must be chilly in San Fransokyo!). Fitting with the Japanese-American fusion setting of the film, you’ll find Japanese Katakana incorporated into the design. We’ve translated them for you in the captions for the related items.
Big Hero 6 Apparel for Adults
While I think it would have fit the movie better if the back appliqué on this racing jacket ($119.90) said “Robotics Team” rather than “Racing Team,” it is still an eye-catching design in Baymax’s colors with other fun details. The front has a San Fransokyo Institute of Technology patch and a Baymax name tag in Katakana, plus a large Baymax racing-themed graphic across the chest. A large Baymax appliqué is on the back, joined by a smaller one on the left sleeve.
The San Fransokyo skyline is captured on this women’s cardigan ($64.90, also available in plus sizes), accented with blooming sakura branches and appliqués of Baymax and one reading “San Fransokyo” in English and Japanese on the front.
This holiday sweater ($59.90) and women’s panel crewneck ($59.90) share the same image. The sweater gets extra credit for merging Baymax’s fistbump-induced exclamation with a holiday tune: “Ba La La La La.”
Big Hero 6 Apparel for Kids and Infants
I am incredibly jealous that this youth varsity jacket ($38.90) doesn’t come in adult sizes. Not only does it have a small Baymax patch and a big chenille “B” on the front with a lollipop patch “hanging” out of the left pocket (my favorite detail), but the back has a large appliqué of Baymax and Mochi, surrounded by embroidered details.
Baymax’s simple design makes for a perfect baby onesie, and apparently, BoxLunch thinks so, too, because they actually created their very own infant one-piece outfit ($28.90). It has the character’s eyes on the hood, his computer chip port on the chest, and the pain scale on the stomach. Features that parents will appreciate are the three-quarter length chest zipper (with a zipper sleeve at the top so it can’t scratch your little one’s face or neck) and snaps along the legs for easy diaper changes.
Big Hero 6 Accessories
Baymax takes the form of a plush ID holder with an attached lanyard ($18.90)to help you hold onto your San Fransokyo Institute of Technology student ID or any other card you need easy access to.
Loungefly’s Baymax Holiday Plaid Light-up mini backpack ($79.90) and matching Baymax Holiday Plaid zip wallet ($39.90) are colorful and functional gifts to give the Big Hero 6 fan in your life.
The “Christmas lights” on the front of the mini backpack actually light up, which is an extra-magical touch. However, my favorite detail is hidden on the backpack’s backside: Mochi playing with a wound-up ball of lights (that silly kitty!).
Unzipping the wallet reveals four cardholders and an ID slot with festive Baymax print, which also lines the inside of the mini backpack.

These Loungefly enamel pins ($9.90 each) portray a rainy day outing with Baymax and Mochi. The kitty’s content and playful expression are perfectly captured in these pieces.
Fred once likened hugging Baymax to “spooning a warm marshmallow.” The personal healthcare companion can warm you up, too, with this fleece throw ($29.90). It measures 50 inches wide by 60 inches long.
