We have amazing news! Paint the Night, an all-time favorite Disneyland parade is heading back to the resort. The news came in the form of a teaser video on Disney Parks Instagram. The caption “When can we do this again?” is set to a video clip of Mack from Pixar’s Cars, who’s part of the show. The iconic soundtrack featuring Owl City plays in the background and the video concludes with vibrant lights. Although short and simple, the brief clip was enough to set the comment section ablaze with delighted guests.

So… when can we see it again? We suspect late winter/early spring for the launch of Disneyland’s 70th anniversary. What’s your guess? And which park would you like to see it return to (it has been shown in both in the past, as has the Main Street Electrical Parade).
Paint the Night Parade
Disney’s Paint the Night Parade kicked off at Disneyland Park on May 22, 2015, for its 60th-anniversary celebration after initially debuting in Hong Kong Disneyland a year before. Featuring fabulous floats and advanced technology, it’s the first fully LED nighttime parade. Floats pay tribute to beloved Disney and Pixar films. The parade ran until 2016, much to the disappointment of guests, although in 2018, it returned for a limited run for Pixar Fest, complete with a new Incredibles float.
Since then, fans have been pining for its return (including us here at MicecChat). Let’s take a look back at some of the floats in the parade!
