The Disney Merchandise Update rides again! This edition is all about celebrating birthdays and holidays, checking in on the latest Wonderland fashion, and digging into a few sweet surprises. We’ll be exploring Disney merchandise from the Disney Parks and beyond. Here we go…
Donald Duck is Turning 90!
Donald Duck turns 90 next month, but we’re starting the festivities early with a look at special merchandise BoxLunch prepared for the foul-tempered fowl’s milestone birthday. MiceChat was invited to preview some of these items, and I am excited to share them with you.

Fitting for a sailor suit-wearing character, Donald Duck’s merchandise preview was themed to the ocean scene, or rather a beach party bash.

And that theming extended to the actual merchandise as well. All of the items would fit right into any Disney fan’s summer wardrobe.
The apparel best suits warmer weather months. And all-over prints that are reminiscent of Hawaiian shirts made an appearance on several pieces.

This sweater vest would work perfectly for layering as the evening chill rolls in.

This kid’s woven shirt features Donald’s precocious nephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie.

Beyond apparel, BoxLunch also previewed other types of merchandise, like the lidded drinking glasses (with an included straw) and a charming decorative sign.

You can find even more Donald Duck merchandise from Disney Parks and other retailers in our guide:

Pride Month Prep
The after-hours Pride Night parties at Disneyland are not the only way Disney honors June’s Pride Month. Every year, a Disney Pride Collection is sold at Disneyland, Walt Disney World, and online at the Disney Store (formerly shopDisney), but this year’s styles have already arrived at World of Disney and other locations.

This year’s Disney Pride Collection ranges from apparel, accessories, toys, pins, and beyond. The merchandise labeled Disneyland also has Walt Disney World and Disney Store variants (which I will link to whenever available).
Let’s start off with this collection’s Spirit Jersey. This garment is notable not only for its rainbow motif but also the silvery glitter embedded in the fabric.

If you are looking for layering options, there is a zip-up hoodie for women and a unisex pullover sweatshirt for adults.

Hoping for something sporty? Try this sports jersey! The rainbow ribbed cuffs are an especially fun detail.

Other options for apparel include an all-over printed woven shirt, a red graphic tee, and a kid’s graphic tee.

Those looking for something to wear on their noggins’ are taken care of with this functional baseball cap and (moderately less functional) ear headband.

A colorful Loungefly mini backpack and folding hand fan round out the accessories.
Drink in the rainbow with the help of the Starbucks tumbler with a straw (Disneyland version/Walt Disney World version) or the Disney Pride Collection’s coffee cup (Disneyland version).

Share your love with a stuffed friend, like these rainbow-accented Mickey Mouse and Stitch plushes.

The Disney Pride Collection’s toys aren’t limited to plushes, either. It also includes a Marvel limited-release Mini Spider-Bot and a multicolored Star Wars Droid Factory figure named R3-RN8W.
As for more Disney Parks-geared items, the collection also includes a MagicBand+ and several pin designs: Mickey Mouse Standing, Mickey’s face with a Rainbow, Stitch and Scrump, and an R2-D2 slider pin.
You show your pride all year round with these Mickey Mouse Gloves and Stitch with Scrump ornaments.

And finally, we have this magnet with Mickey’s silhouette and the Disneyland Resort’s initials in rainbow lettering.
Red, White, and Blue & Mickey, Too
Over in Walt Disney World, the MiceMerch team recently spotted a handful of patriotic goods from the Mickey Mouse Americana collection. The merchandise’s designs are relatively simple and focus heavily on an image of Mickey Mouse wearing star-spangled pants.

Loungefly’s contribution to the Americana collection is a mini backpack ($79) and a matching ear headband ($49.99).

If you fancy purchasing both, the mini backpack has a special pocket built specifically for holding the matching ear headband (or any other from your collection).

As for apparel, adults can don this unisex heather grey graphic tee.

And kids can choose between a unisex graphic tee or a fashion top.

Go Down the Fashion Rabbit Hole with Alice in Wonderland Collections
Alice seems to have tumbled out of Wonderland and into the world of fashion accessories with these two new collections from Stoney Clover Lane and Sigma Beauty. Both collections harken back to the whimsy of the classic Disney movie in a way unique to their products. Let’s dive down, down, down the rabbit hole, and get a closer look at this new merchandise!
Stoney Clover Lane
Perhaps it is the bow-shaped handle, but, of the whole collection, this handbag brings Alice most to mind.

This belt bag uses the same print but has a whole different feel than the previous accessory.

The print for this belt bag, however, focuses on the Cheshire Cat, his endearing (if moderately unhinged) grin, and signs from Tulgey Wood.

If you are in the market for zippered pouches, there are two varieties in this collection. The first is a smaller size, measuring 5 inches high, 9.5 inches long, and 2 inches deep. Its print depicts various scenes from the Disney animated film.

Alternatively, the larger size pouch, which is 8 inches high, 11 inches long, and 5 inches deep, is covered with “framed” portraits of Wonderland’s citzens.

Sigma Beauty
Sigma Beauty’s Alice in Wonderland eye shadow palette includes 14 shades with amusing names like “Tea Party” and “Mr. Walrus.” The palette comes with a dual-ended brush that can be stored in the palette when not in use.
The cheek duo includes a blush (“Paint the Roses” and a highlight (“Tickled Pink”).

The collection’s lip duo includes a lip gloss (“Singing Violet”) and a lip cream (“Kiss the Tulips”). You can choose to use each product individually or together to fit your beauty needs.

The collection’s final item is a brush set. Each of the five included brush performs different jobs and come packaged with sparkly storage pouch.

Stitch Attacks Snacks and Ice Cream is on the Menu
It is time once again for the next monthly release in the Stitch Attacks Snacks collection! This month, Stitch joins Angel for an ice cream date. Although, it looks a bit more like a shake than actual ice cream to me…

Each month includes a pin and plushes (originally just a Stitch plush, but last month, Disney incorporated Angel into the mix). Find how to grab these items for yourself and what’s coming next for the collection in our Stitch Attacks Snacks guide:

Sugar RUSH over to Target to Preorder “Disney Villainous: Sugar and Spite”
We’re big fans of Ravensburger games and puzzles here at MiceChat, but there are none so deliciously dark as their Disney Villainous board game series (we’ve even interviewed the series’ game developer, Mike Mulvihill!). Each edition can either be played as a standalone board game (except for the Oogie Boogie-based “Filled with Fright” expansion) or in conjunction with other titles from the same universe (Disney with Disney, Star Wars with Star Wars, or Marvel with Marvel), which is why they are dubbed “expand-alone” games. Their next installment is “Disney Villainous: Sugar and Spite,” with Wreck-it Ralph‘s King Candy as the headliner character.

As you would expect for a character found in Wreck-It Ralph‘s kart racing arcade game “Sugar Rush,” King Candy’s realm board’s path of actions resembles a race track. This is the first time that a realm board veers off from the traditional, linear format to align better with a baddie’s backstory. (You can read more about the gameplay basics in our reviews, such as the one for “Disney Villainous: Bigger and Badder.”)

Joining King Candy is The Jungle Book‘s Shere Khan. The tiger has the standard realm board layout, however.

Ravensburger’s “Disney Villainous: Sugar and Spite” is available to preorder now for $19.99 and is expected to ship on June 6. If you choose to preorder from Target, you will receive a special edition with a candy bar-inspired box and a King Candy game piece with an exclusive finish.

And speaking of malevolent merchandise, toy collectors will want to check out our feature on the upcoming Cruella De Vil doll from Mattel Creations’ Darkness Descends series:
