Lug‘s versatile bags and accessories stole the hearts of Disney fans when it announced its partnership with Disney last year at Destination D23. Since then, we have seen product releases at Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Aulani, and the Disney Cruise Line. Join me as we take a closer look at some recent additions from Lug’s EPCOT collections in World Showcase at Walt Disney World.

While these products are not sold online, you can find other versions of the Skeeter Mini Convertible Crossbody Bag, Volley Mini Matte Luxe VL Backpack, Hopper Shorty Backpack, and Coupe XL Convertible Crossbody Bag on Lug’s online store.
Lug at the Germany Pavillion in EPCOT
These two new Lug bags hail from the home of Oktoberfest.

Germany Mickey Skeeter Mini Convertible Crossbody Bag
Mickey dons a feathered cap on the front of this Germany-themed Mickey Skeeter Mini Convertible Crossbody Bag. The bag’s belt loops (Skeeter Minis can be worn as a belt bag or crossbody bag) on the back are disguised as suspenders with the main portion of the back resembling lederhosen. The lining uses a yellow-based print with beer steins, Bavarian pretzels, and other icons from the regions peppered about.

Germany Volley Mini Backpack
With different portions of the bag dyed in the different colors found on the German flag, this Germany Volley Mini Backpack will certainly grab the attention of those around you. The proverbial cherry on top is the embroidered lederhosen-wearing Mickey at the front of the bag. He is joined by the words “Germany” and “EPCOT World Showcase,” which are embroidered below. The backpack uses the same lining as the Skeeter Mini bag.

Lug at the Canada Pavillion in EPCOT
You can almost smell maple syrup when you see these buffalo plaid-covered beauties.

Chip Skeeter Mini Convertible Crossbody Bag (may be out of stock)
Dale sits this one out as Chip takes the spotlight on this Skeeter Mini Crossbody. The smaller pocket on the exterior of the front is fashioned after the black-nosed chipmunk’s face. His ears, which are set behind the pocket itself, are an endearing detail. The remaining base of the bag is covered in a buffalo plaid print, with the exception of a small portion of the rear, designed to resemble Chip’s backside. The interior lining is dotted with imagery we often associate with our Northern neighbors, like hockey sticks and maple leaves.

Canada Hopper Shorty Backpack
Like the Chip Skeeter Mini Crossbody, the Canada Hopper Shorty features buffalo plaid (with a few Hidden Mickeys mixed in for good measure). The majority of the bag is black, with the white and red print running down the middle. And right in the middle of the buffalo plaid is an appliqué with “Canada” and a maple leaf-emblazoned hockey puck. It’s lining matches that used on the Chip Skeeter Mini Crossbody.

Lug at the Norway Pavillion in EPCOT
Mickey mixes with Norwegian Rosemaling for a classic and classy design.

Norway Coupe XL Convertible Crossbody Bag
The deep blue base of the Norway Coupe XL makes the Rosemaling embroidery appear even more vibrant. At the center of the floral embroidery is one large, stylized Hidden Mickey. The lining in the bag’s three interior pockets also uses a Rosemaling-like pattern. Like the Skeeter Mini bags, the Coupe XL can be worn either as a crossbody bag or a belt bag.

Norway Hopper Shorty Backpack
Similar to the Coupe XL from this collection, the Norway Hopper Shorty Backpack has a blue exterior with an intricate Hidden Mickey-Rosemaling hybrid art on the front. “Norway” and “EPCOT World Showcase” are embroidered underneath the design. It shares the same lining print as the Norway Coupe XL.

Reimagining a Figment Favorite (may be out of stock)
If you missed snagging one at the last EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, the Figment Skeeter Mini Crossbody has returned with a few slight alterations. The previous Festival-exclusive version (pictured below with the ‘Olu Mel Skeeter Mini Crossbody from Aulani) has embroidered dragon wings on the back alongside the 2023 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts logo, plus a festival-inspired interior lining.

The front remains unchanged for the new version, which appears to be an open-edition release. However, the back now shows a grouping of gears with Spaceship Earth at the center and the EPCOT logo underneath. The lining has likewise changed to a gear motif.
