Disney’s latest animated movie, Wish, hasn’t been a smash at the box office, but it has inspired some cute merchandise. And while the story follows the tale of a girl named Asha, the aptly named Star is the real “star” of the merchandise offerings. We’ll explore apparel, accessories, and toys inspired by many of Wish‘s characters, but first, let’s have a look at the latest trailer for the film to get reacquainted with Asha, her friends, and their world:
For every sale of Wish merchandise sold at select locations (mainly those run by Disney within the US), Disney will donate 10 percent of the sales price, up to $1,000,000, to Make-A-Wish, a foundation that aims to grant the wishes of children with critical illnesses.

Disney Wish Apparel
Wish Crewneck by Cakeworthy ($47.95)
Explore the many faces of Star, captured in the embroidery that decorates this cotton crewneck. It doesn’t matter whether you are viewing the top from the front, back, or sides; you can’t escape this cosmic cutie.
Wish Flannel by Cakeworthy ($54.95)
This is another piece of cold weather apparel by Cakeworthy, but this time Star is accompanied by Valentino the goat. The pair can be found embroidered on the front pocket together, with a trail of wishing stars running down the right sleeve. Another is even hiding on the left side of the shirt’s lapel. But the most eye-catching detail is certainly the quote, “We are all made of star dust,” written in glittering gold paint on the back.
Valentino Pullover Hoodie for Kids ($39.99)
While your child’s voice is (presumably) not as low as Valentino’s, his advice to “speak your mind” is worth repeating (and worth printing on the front of this kid’s hoodie!). The hoodie’s fleece interior is sure to keep your loved one warm this winter.
Wish Fantasy Nightgown for Toddlers ($36)
This toddler-sized nightgown is modeled after Asha’s dress from the movie. A smaller image of the heroine, joined by Star, is also added near the top.

Wish Sequined Ear Headband – Standard and Adaptive ($34.99 each)
A smiling, glittery Star rests atop these sequin-covered Ear Headbands. This design comes in the typical firm headband style as well as the soft, adaptive kind with an elastic chinstrap and a velcro closure.
Star Wallet by Loungefly ($24.99)
What’s a merchandise collection without a contribution from Loungefly? Star is front and center on this wallet, leaving a trail of stardust on the backside. The celestial sidekick adds an extra hint of magic with its ability to glow in the dark. Inside the wallet are seven card slots, an ID window, and a zippered coin pocket, decorated with lining featuring art of Asha and Star.
Disney Wish Toys
Asha Singing Doll ($29.99)
Asha makes for a positively gorgeous doll. Standing at 11 and a half inches tall, she offers a fully poseable body, styled hair, and a layered outfit with accessories. She is joined by a small figure of Star, who you can hide in the included molded ball of twine. Finally, she sings the song “This Wish” when you press a button on her back (you can hear a sample of it on her product listing).
Kingdom of Rosas Character Set by Mattel ($39.99)
If you are hard-pressed to pick a favorite character among the Kingdom of Rosas’ citizens, this figure set is made for you. It includes 17 figures and features not only humans but also woodland creatures (plus Star and the goat Valentino), which allows you to recreate any number of scenes from the movie or even stage some all-new ones.
King Magnifico’s Castle by LEGO ($99.99)
Once all 613 pieces in this set have been assembled, you’ll have your very own LEGO version of King Magnifico’s Castle. Similar to the LEGO Disney Castle set created for Disney100, the finished product has hidden spaces and multiple floors for fans to explore. The set includes everything needed to build an 11-inch high, 12-inch wide, and 4-inch deep castle, along with LEGO figures of Asha, Dahlia, King Magnifico, and Star.
POP! Figures by Funko ($12 each) – Asha with Star, Dahlia, Valentino, King Magnifico, and Queen Amaya
Funko transformed Wish‘s characters into their fan-favorite, collectible POP! figures. Each figure is reimagined in the figure line’s easily identifiable style, with large monotone eyes, large heads, and small bodies.
Magical Moving and Talking Valentino by JAKKS ($54.99)
Star grants Valentino the gift of gab after you briefly hold the little yellow guy to the goat’s right cheek. He’ll recite 15 phrases from the film (with a moving mouth), blink his eyes, and wag his little furry tail. Using the included accessories will reward you with different phrases and movements. And even without applying Star’s speech-granting magic, Valentino will react as a regular goat would and bleat out a “bah!” when you pat his head or back.
Star Cuddleez Plush ($39.99)
I am a huge fan of Disney’s Cuddleez plush line. Their squishy, bouncy stuffing combined with lightly fuzzy and soothingly soft fabric exterior makes these plush friends perfect cuddle buddies and afternoon nap companions. Star is a perfect addition to the line; his simple 17 and 3/4 inch-tall form easily lends itself to comfortable hugs.
Disney Wish Merchandise in Disneyland
Disneyland guests will find additional Wish merchandise created especially for the Parks.
For those novelty item collectors, there is a Star light-up sipper (found at many quick service locations) and a Valentino popcorn bucket (sold at popcorn stands).
And more traditional merchandise is stocked at Downtown Disney’s World of Disney, as well as various stores within the Parks.
And be sure to say “Hi!” to Asha during her daily meet and greets at Princess Fantasy Faire. We would suggest getting in line well ahead of time (her schedule is posted in the Disneyland app) as the lines tend to get very long.
Disney Partners with Toys for Tots
Disney once again is hosting its Ultimate Toy Drive in support of Toys for Tots. Its partnership with the charity is a holiday tradition for the Walt Disney Company that has lasted over 75 years. While you are shopping at Downtown Disney, Disney Springs, or a Disney Store, all you have to do is place a new, unwrapped toy in one of the designated bins scattered around the area by December 15, 2023.
Even if a trip to a Disney Resort or Disney Store isn’t in your holiday plans, you can still participate in the Disney Ultimate Toy Drive by choosing a toy to donate through a special section on shopDisney. This option extends past the Disney Park/Store’s December 15 deadline and ends on December 24 instead.
