Castles are among the most magical of the Disney icons. So it’s fitting that LEGO is releasing a magnificent model of the beloved landmark as part of Disney’s 100 Years of Wonder Celebration (AKA Disney100). The LEGO Castle Set includes everything needed to recreate your own version of the one seen at the opening of Disney films (even the fireworks!). And there is more to the set than just the building! Here’s the full rundown of this brand-new LEGO set.
The LEGO Disney Castle Set
Intended for builders ages 18 and up, this celebratory set consists of 4,837 pieces.
Here’s a look at the set once it is completed. The backside of the castle is open, allowing you to see inside and interact with rooms and props.
This castle is impressively large. It measures 32 inches high, 24 inches wide, and 13 inches deep.
The set also includes 8 mini figures: Snow White, Prince Florian, Cinderella, Prince Charming, Tiana, Naveen, Rapunzel, and Flynn Rider.
Features and Details
Once complete, you can take the regal couples for a “spin” in the Grand Ballroom (modeled after the one seen in Cinderella) with a rotating dance floor.
There are other nods to 14 films spanning Disney’s 100-year history (not just Princesses!), hidden all around the castle’s interior. And a secret turret houses a mini time capsule referencing the milestone anniversary.
How to Buy the LEGO Disney Castle Set
This set will be sold on LEGO’s online store and at LEGO stores for $399.99. LEGO VIPs can purchase theirs beginning on July 1, 2023. General sales will open on July 4, 2023.
