Disneyland Unveils Exclusive New DOLE Whip Peach Sundae!

DOLE Whip Day may have occurred last month, but the holiday just keeps on giving! A new Peach Sundae debuts at Disneyland on August 20, and we suspect fans will be lining up for it. So, how can you get a hold of this coveted sweet treat? Our updated guide has all the details on where to find DOLE Whip at Disneyland and Disney World, plus a look at the current lineup. Let’s dig in!

Disney’s DOLE Whip Origins

DOLE Whip was officially introduced to the Disney Parks at Aloha Isle in Magic Kingdom in 1984, followed by Disneyland’s Tiki Juice Bar at Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room in 1986. Today, fans still enjoy grabbing a refreshing pineapple treat from the iconic locations! Following its success, DOLE Whip became available at other Disney Parks, Resorts, and Disney Cruise Line. But if you don’t have a Disney trip planned anytime soon, no worries! You can make DOLE Whip at home. Just follow the recipe at the end of this article.

DOLE Whip at the Disneyland Resort 

There are only a few spots at the Disneyland Resort to quench your DOLE Whip craving, with treats served inside and outside Disneyland Park. Here’s where to find the coveted creations!

But first, a new Disneyland 70th anniversary collectible cup is available for purchase with DOLE Whip or Pineapple Upside Down Sundae at The Tropical Hideaway or DOLE Whip at Tiki Juice Bar and Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar, starting July 17 (while supplies last).

For those unaware, DOLE Whip Peach is an all-new flavor debuting exclusively at Disneyland for its 70th Anniversary, and people couldn’t wait to try it, myself included!

A cast member told me it was just like peach yogurt, and after trying it, I’d have to agree. I think if you visit Disneyland regularly, it’s a welcome change, but it had me craving the original, iconic pineapple flavor. That said, I would love to sample it again in sundae form! DOLE Whip Day History

This year, DOLE Whip Day landed on Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary, July 17, 2025. The fun-tastic occasion is still fairly new, debuting on July 19, 2021. In celebration of DOLE Whip Day, Disney showcases a variety of mouthwatering offerings for fans to enjoy. The holiday takes place every third Thursday in July.

Make a Frozen Pineapple Treat at Home!

Bring the magic home by making your own DOLE Whip-inspired pineapple dessert. Here’s the recipe from Walt Disney Parks and Resorts:

Serves 4

Ingredients:

• 1/2-3/4 cup pineapple juice, divided
• 2 cups frozen pineapple chunks
• 1 cup dairy-free vanilla ice cream

Directions:

1. Place 1/2 cup pineapple juice, frozen pineapple, and dairy-free vanilla ice cream in blender and blend until smooth – do not over blend. If the mixture is too thick to blend, add 2 tablespoons of pineapple juice at a time.
2. Scoop into bowls and serve immediately.

Pair It With Pineapple Upside-Down Cake 

This recipe from Disney Eats is inspired by Aloha Isle’s pineapple upside-down cake: 

Serves 6

Topping Ingredients:

• 1 (20 ounce) can pineapple slices in 100% pineapple juice (DOLE recommended), 6 tablespoons of pineapple juice from can (reserve for use in cake) 
• 4 tablespoons butter, melted
• 1/2 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
• 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
• 6 maraschino cherries 

Pineapple Upside-Down Cake Ingredients:

• 1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
• 1/2 teaspoon coarse salt
• 1 3/4 teaspoons baking powder 
• 3 tablespoons butter, softened
• 3/4 cup granulated sugar
• 1 egg
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 6 tablespoons reserved pineapple juice
• 2 tablespoons milk  

Directions For Topping:

1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
2. Lightly grease 8 ounce ramekins with butter and place on baking sheet. Set aside.
3. Drain pineapple rings, reserving 6 tablespoons juice for pineapple upside-down cake.
4. Combine melted butter, light brown sugar, cinnamon, and ground ginger in small bowl and stir until smooth. Spread 1 1/2 tablespoons of brown sugar mixture in the bottom of each ramekin. Place pineapple ring in each ramekin and add a maraschino cherry to the center of each pineapple ring. Set aside.

Directions For Pineapple Upside-Down Cake: 

1. Whisk flour, salt, and baking powder together in a medium bowl and set aside. 
2. Cream butter and sugar in the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with a paddle attachment until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla and beat for 1 minute on medium speed until smooth.
3. Add reserved pineapple juice and half of reserved flour mixture and beat on low speed until smooth. Add milk and remaining flour mixture and continue mixing for 1 minute until batter is smooth.
4. Spread 1/3 cup batter on top of pineapple in each ramekin.
5. Bake for 20-22 minutes, until a toothpick in the center comes out clean.
6. Remove cake from oven and cool for 3 minutes. Run a knife or offset spatula around the edge of each cake. Carefully turn ramekins onto wire rack and gently lift. Cool.
