The Muppets seem busier than ever these days, recently celebrating the 30th anniversary of The Muppet Christmas Carol. And, Coming to Disney+ in 2023 will be the all-new show “The Muppets Mayhem,” following The Electric Mayhem Band as it records its first-ever album.
The band has been around since the 1970s on The Muppet Show, so nostalgia plays a big role in the new show and this line of action figures. The toymakers at Super7 have released the first two figures of members of the Electric Mayhem Band in their ReAction Figure line, and they’re available to order right now!

Where to Buy Electric Mayhem Band ReAction Figures
Super7 is the place to pick up these figures either as a set ($50) or individually ($25).
Sometimes known as Dr. Teeth and The Electric Mayhem, both Dr. Teeth and Animal come packaged individually on a die-cut mouth-shaped cardback with a gold tooth and foil accents.
Electric Mayhem Band ReAction Figures
Dr. Teeth is the lead singer and keyboardist for The Electric Mayhem and comes with his keyboard. Animal is the drummer and comes with drumsticks…. But what he’s missing are actual drums.
The figures stand 3.75” tall (just like those old Kenner Star Wars figures!) and have only five points of articulation… not unlike those old days of action figures. The sculpts are good, capturing the fun of these loveable Muppet characters. Animal is just the right amount of deranged-looking.
The paint is mostly clean but with some slop here and there, most noticeable around the edges of the noses, but overall not bad for figures this size.
The weirdest aspect might be the glitter infused into the plastic. The see-through plastic for these makes it so the colors are just off enough that it may not win all Muppet fans over, but Muppet collectors should want to add these to their collections regardless.
Final Thoughts on Electric Mayhem Band ReAction Figures
There have been several iterations of Muppet figures over the years, none of which have been close to complete. For comparison (from left to right below), we have Palisades Toys, Diamond Select Toys, and Super7. Super7’s (on the far right) version of these Electric Mayhem members is the latest. However, their price is on the high end at $25 a piece. Whatever you think about these figures, it’s a fun time for Muppet collectors, and this is most likely the beginning! I, for one, am looking for a lot more Mayhem in 2023!
