Local Disneyland Resort pin collectors already know that Tuesdays are terrific to check for new pins at the park as that is a common weekly release day. It’s also when you’ll find a lot of pin traders lining the benches in Frontierland because they’re busy looking to trade for the newest releases.
Now, shopDisney.com is getting in on the fun with Pin-tastic Tuesdays! (That said, pins may be released at any time for any occasion, so it’s always good to keep an eye out!)
shopDisney Pin-tastic Releases
Every Tuesday morning at 7 a.m. PT the site will release new pins. They may be Limited Edition, Limited Release or Open Edition. Additionally, the new pins may be sold individually or in sets. We won’t know ahead of time what will be coming out – it’s going to be a weekly surprise. Although I can already tell by the pins released this week that I’m going to want a LOT of them!
Many other pins are available at shopDisney as well – with themes and characters ranging from parks to movies. The best part about pin collecting is that there’s something for everyone!
PRO TIP: Each year, the Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort release monthly pin series. Sometimes they are exclusive to one resort and sometimes they are shared releases across both resorts. And now, shopDisney will get a portion of these pins, too! As a collector, if you even suspect you’re going to want to put together the full set for the year, I strongly suggest buying the first pin released, because if you find by the third or fourth month of the year that you really want the whole set after all, the first one in the set will often be the hardest to trade for since others decided later that they wanted it, too! Worse comes to worst, if you decide not to collect all of them, you can always use the first one for trade!
Here are just a few of this week’s Pin-tastic releases. You can find the full listing for this week’s Pin-tastic releases HERE.

Marvel Pins
A Captain America pin is the first in a new monthly series:
It retails for $19.99 and is a Limited Edition of 1850.
I’m super excited to find out what other characters will be part of the series throughout the rest of the year. Definitely hoping for Loki!
There is also a fantastic new Marvel’s Avengers ”Valentines Assemble” Mystery Pin Set:
This mystery box set retails for $24.99 and comes with two mystery pins per box. Pin collectors often buy multiple mystery boxes at a time and then trade their duplicates to complete a set as you don’t know which pins you’ll get until you’ve opened your boxes. I’m going to want to collect this entire set!
