We’ve already been salivating over the wide range of Halloween merchandise sold at Disney Parks this year, but there are lots more ghastly goodies to be found. Get ready to hear your wallet shrieking as we dive into this Disney Halloween shopping guide!
shopDisney and Disney Books
The official online Disney store has tons of Halloween merchandise and some released for Día de Los Muertos (themed to the Disney*Pixar film, Coco), which takes place November 1 and 2. And Disney Books has a Hocus Pocus title that proves literature is magic. Here’s a look at what you can find online:
LEGO The Haunted Mansion – Disneyland ($39.99)
For an excellent hands-on Halloween activity (besides trick-or-treating, of course), I would suggest taking a crack at this LEGO Haunted Mansion set. Its 680 included pieces recreate Disneyland’s version attraction, and they even included a mini-figure dressed as one of the Cast Members in their Ghost Host costume. But perhaps the most exciting feature is that once fully constructed, the back of the structure reveals the ballroom scene from the ride.

The Nightmare Before Christmas Halloween Town City Hall Cookie Jar ($89.99)
This eerily-beautiful cookie jar is from Enesco’s Disney Ceramics Collection. It resembles Halloween Town’s City Hall in The Nightmare Before Christmas, with the “roof” serving as the jar’s lid. There’s something about the asymmetry of the design that I find whimsical and appealing.

Coco Pillow ($34.99)
Marigolds play a part in Día de Los Muertos and are used to decorate altars. This pillow pays homage to the flower with a fuzzy, layered design on top that emulates its petals. And the print used on the pillow’s base is full of stylized versions of characters from Coco.

Coco Sleep Set (Adults are $59.99 and Kids are $24.99)
Both matching parent-child pajamas (sold separately) have a Coco print that includes Día de Los Muertos imagery. You’ll spot Miguel and his guitar joined by sugar skulls and marigolds, among others. The fabric used on the adults is a rayon/spandex-hybrid, while the kids are polyester.

The Hocus Pocus Spell Book by Eric Geron ($14.99)
Within the 240 pages of this hardcover book is a deep dive into the lore of the film Hocus Pocus. It covers the spells used in the movie, previously undiscovered spells, recipes for potions, and information on enchanted artifacts (some of which seem to be nods to other Disney movies). Even the cover itself would be great as a costume accessory.

Funko Games
Whether you favor witches or ghosts, Funko Games has a themed board game for you that is perfect for the Halloween season.
Hocus Pocus Tricks and Wits Game ($8.99) – Ships September 27
It’s kids against witches in this card game based on Hocus Pocus. The goal for each side (players can be on teams for this one) is to get their hands on the spellbook before the black candle goes out. Players must bluff their opponents and think strategically to gain the upper hand. A little luck doesn’t hurt either, as a dice roll can lead to special powers for your side. Each game session takes about 20 minutes and will accommodate 2 to 4 players, ages 8 and up.

Disney Haunted Mansion – Call of the Spirits Game (Both the Magic Kingdom Edition and Disneyland Edition cost $24.99, sold separately)
In this competitive board game, 2 to 6 players (ages 8 and up) explore the different rooms of the Haunted Mansion in a family-friendly ghost hunt. Players collect ghost cards in sets to earn points, with other cards added bonuses to completed sets. But they’ll also need to watch out for the Hitchhiking Ghosts, who also move about the gameboard. This is definitely a game made with fans of the attraction in mind. Every part of the experience references the ride, like the bat stanchion-shaped player pieces, the rooms on the gameboard, and the different spooks and specters on the cards.
Made to commemorate the resort’s 50th anniversary, the Walt Disney World version includes glow-in-the-dark Hitchhiking Ghosts game pieces and a unique “50th” foil seal on the box. The Disneyland one was made earlier, and aside from the distinctive parts I just mentioned and a different mansion on the front of the box, the games are identical.

Ravensburger
Man, those villains sure like to party. Ravensburger also has games featuring Disney baddies.
Disney Hocus Pocus: The Game ($19.99 on Amazon and $24.99 on shopDisney)
Players of this Hocus Pocus board game work together to prevent the Sanderson Sisters from acquiring the necessary ingredients for their sinister potion until sunrise. Matching five ingredient cards by color or type stuns the witches, and the sun inches closer to rising. Stun the terrible trio three times to accomplish your goal. Unfortunately, the witches cast a spell preventing the players from sharing their decks with each other. So they’ll need to use tools at their disposal, like Binx and trick tokens, to win the day. Playtime typically lasts 30 minutes and includes 2 to 6 players, ages 8 and up.

Disney Villains Labyrinth Board Game ($36.99)
In this version of Ravensburger’s Labyrinth board game, players assume the roles of Maleficent, Ursula, Scar, or Hades as they explore an ever-changing maze in search of their bumbling henchman. They’ll need to alter the pathways for their opponents, preventing them from finding their lackeys, all while seeking out your own. A round of play typically lasts 20 to 30 minutes and is intended for 2 to 4 players, ages 7 and up.

Disney Villainous: Bigger and Badder Strategy Board Game ($29.99 on Amazon and Target)
Part of Ravensburger’s cult classic Villainous game series, Disney Villainous: Bigger and Badder can be played as a standalone title or as an expansion of a previously released edition. Players take on the mantle of either Lotso Huggin’ Bear (Toy Story 3), Madame Mim (The Sword in the Stone), or Syndrome (The Incredibles) in an attempt to achieve their evil ambitions. Each baddie has unique rules and a different playstyle, which adds a level of replayability as players will want to try out each villain. Each game session accommodates 2 to 3 players ages 10 and up, typically lasting for 40 to 60 minutes.

Loungefly
No Disney Halloween shopping experience is complete without a themed release or two from Loungefly. Highlights this season celebrate the magically-inclined characters from Hocus Pocus (courtesy of the Loungefly Stitch Shoppe). There’s also an autumn-colored collection you are sure to “fall” in love with.
Hocus Pocus Stitch Shoppe Collection
Sunset Sanderson Sisters Natasha Dress ($100)
Fans of the Hocus Pocus’s witchy sisters will adore this piece, made in the Loungefly Stitch Shoppe’s Natasha Dress style. The fabric is a soft and stretchy sateen with a print of Winnie, Sarah, and Marie flying through a colorful sky, peppered with images of Binx, bubbling potions, and the Black Flame Candle. But my favorite detail is the collar, which looks like Binx is draped over your neck. The size run ranges from XS through 4X, and every dress comes with a pin of the Black Flame Candle.

Emily Binx Glow Convertible Crossbody Bag ($95)
This bag, which resembles poor Emily Binx’s headstone, can be made into a crossbody or a backpack, depending on where you attach the adjustable shoulder straps. The details on the headstone glow in the dark, and the lining matches the dress from this collection. And Emily’s beloved brother Thackery appears as a bag charm in his cursed cat form.

Fall Mickey and Minnie Statement Collection

Minnie Mouse Sequin Ombre Mini Backpack ($90)
Inspired by the beautiful hues in autumn foliage, this mouse-eared Mini Backpack incorporates those familiar fall colors into a sequin-covered ombre pattern, topped with a leafy bow. Other details include a matching Hidden Minnie-shaped zipper pull and a playful print on the lining with Mickey and friends playing in the leaves. And to top it off, an image of Minnie Mouse is hidden on the backside.

Minnie Mouse Sequin Ombre Zip Around Wallet ($45)
This zip-around wallet uses the same colors as the Mini Backpack, seen in sequins on the exterior and on the card slots inside.

Minnie Mouse Sequin Ombre Ear Headband ($30)
Hoping for a matching Ear Headband? You got it!

Minnie Mouse Crossbody Bag ($80)
If sequins aren’t your style, other Loungefly accessories will help add that “Fall look” to your outfit. This crossbody bag has the same leaf-inspired “bow” seen on the earlier items, but it uses a character-filled allover print rather than an ombre color scheme.

This collection also includes some cozy-warm accessories for that fall chill (that will hopefully materialize in Southern California any day now). Cuddle up in a Minnie Mouse Pom Beanie ($25), Mickey and Minnie Mouse Fair Isle Scarf – with lined pockets! ($31), and Mickey and Minnie Fair Isle Cozy Socks ($8).

Lovepop in Downtown Disney
If you visit the Disneyland Resort’s Downtown Disney District, you’ll find impressively intricate Halloween pop-up cards at LovePop. This unique card shop is located between Péle Soccer and Disney Home.

Some designs are more obviously Halloween-related, like the Mickey pumpkin or trick-or-treating Grogu.

While others incorporate characters that we often associate with this time of year. My favorite is the Haunted Mansion design. I adore every single detail in that one.

There are also cards for Día de Los Muertos. I love the marigold one.
