Today we learned a little more about what Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products is planning to reveal during the D23 Expo on Sept. 9-11, 2022, in Anaheim, Calif. Take a look and let us know if you are hearing what you want to know from the parks and Imagineering…
Wonderful World of Dreams Pavilion
Here’s something sure to be a fan favorite… The Disney Parks and Experiences Wonderful World of Dreams pavilion will offer “behind-the-scenes glimpses” of the Tiana’s Bayou Adventure attraction coming to Disneyland and Walt Disney World.
Plus, you’ll learn about the ongoing transformation of Epcot, new Frozen-themed experiences, Disney Cruise Line expansion, live entertainment, and more.
While few specifics have been announced for the Wonderful World of Dreams pavilion, we have plenty of questions about previously-announced attractions and experiences that seem to have slipped off Disney’s radar (we’re looking at you Epcot Mary Poppins and Avengers Campus Quinjet attractions), so hopefully, some of those will be answered.
A Boundless Future: Disney Parks Experiences and Product
Dubbed “A Boundless Future: Disney Parks Experiences and Products,” Josh D’Amaro’s presentation on Sept. 11, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. will share “new details of highly-anticipated projects in development around the world“ – and while they’re certainly not saying exactly what that means, Disney is promising “the fan-favorite presentation is sure to feature see-it-here-first moments and surprises.”
DisneyMe
Guests at D23 Expo will also get first access to DisneyMe, an all-new digital avatar feature in the Play Disney Parks app that allows guests to tap into their personal style and create their own unique DisneyMe character. To celebrate the launch of DisneyMe as part of Disney Wish’s Disney Uncharted Adventure, D23 Expo guests can embark on an exclusive virtual quest around the show floor to uncover specially-designed Disney Wish and D23 Expo digital clothing and accessories for their DisneyMe.
In September, Expo attendees can download the latest Play Disney Parks app, so they’re ready to create their DisneyMe and join the quest during the convention.
