It’s Star Wars Day… MAY THE 4TH BE WITH YOU! And Disney is rolling out special after hours events (now sold out), has turned Space Mountain into the Star Wars themed Hyperspace Mountain, has additional characters roaming Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge, and even has a few new photo opportunities for you. Traversing the galaxy can work up one’s appetite. And there is no better occasion to chow down on some interstellar grub than Star Wars Day. Both the Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World have dishes planned, some of them sticking around even after the unofficial holiday. And thankfully, unlike what we saw for Halfway to Halloween, the Disneyland Resort gets its fair share of options this time around.

High Flying Star Wars Fun – Alaska Airlines
Disneyland Resort and Alaska Airlines have joined forces on a new Star Wars-themed aircraft. The plane pays tribute to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland Park. Keep an eye out for an Alaska plane painted space black with the iconic Millennium Falcon emblazoned on the tail being chased by TIE fighters.
You’ll also see porgs on both winglets, and another porg greeting guests at the boarding door.
Disneyland Resort
There’s a lot going on at the Happiest Place in Hyperspace. Limited-time character opportunities have been added to the park. Watch out for Captain Phasma. She means business and travels with her own little army.
And Space Mountain has once again added the popular Star Wars overlay, Hyperspace Mountain. One of our favorite Disneyland attraction overlays.
There’s also the promise of special merchandise while supplies last in Galaxy’s Edge. Let us know if you spot anything. Disney wasn’t specific in what would be available.
