Walt Disney World announced today on Tik Tok that the popular Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue is returning to Pioneer Hall at the Fort Wilderness Resort.

Reservations will open on May 26, 2022, with the show making its grand return on June 23, 2022.
Described as “a hilarious, high-spirited hootenanny the whole family will enjoy, accompanied by a finger-lickin’ countrified feast” on the official Disney site, the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue is the longest running show at Walt Disney World, debuting on June 30, 1974. It is a beloved tradition for many visitors to Walt Disney World.
“You never know what to expect when Claire de Lune, Johnny Ringo, Dolly Drew, Six Bits Slocum, Flora Long and Jim Handy hit the stage. But you do know that it’s not going to be dull! Get ready to clap your hands, stomp your feet, sing along and have a good ol’ time at rustic Pioneer Hall.”
Besides the fun-filled 2 hour show, the other star of Hoop-Dee-Doo is the food. Buckets of all-you-care-to-enjoy fried chicken and smoked BBQ pork ribs, as well as a tossed green salad, baked beans, fresh-baked cornbread and strawberry shortcake. Unlimited draft beer, wine and sangria are included for guests 21 age and up (proper ID required). Soft drinks are also included (that was the menu before the show closed in 2020 along with the rest of The Walt Disney World Resort).
Disney has also stated that when the show returns, there will be some updates to the script and scenery, but will also stay true to the spirit of the show that opened 48 years ago.
