All Things Spring – Disney Easter Gift Guide 2022

Spring has sprung and merchandise is adding to the spirit with tons of new seasonal items to explore. Whether you are looking to accessorize a new outfit, stocking up on gifts for upcoming holidays, or just want to get something nice for your four-legged friend, we’ve got you covered with trendy items from Disney, Loungefly, Funko, and Harry Barker. Let’s take a look at our Disney Easter gift guide for 2022…

Disney

Easter 2022 Plushes ($24.99) – Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Winnie the Pooh, and Stitch

As is tradition, Disney created several costumed character plushes that would make cuddly Easter gifts. The options this year are Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Winnie the Pooh, and Stitch. With the exception of Stitch being dressed like a chick, our Disney friends are disguised as Easter Bunnies. The “costume” is made of a fuzzier material than the rest of the plush. Oddly, all of them have embroidery on their left that says “Disney Store 2022,” rather than simply “Disney” (especially since Disney Stores have been closed for some time in North America). Mickey and Minnie both measure 19 inches tall, while Pooh and Stitch are 17 inches and 14 inches tall, respectively.

Zootopia nuiMOs plushes($21.99 each) – Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde  

Using nuiMOs as Easter basket gifts seem like a brilliant idea to me. They are compact and adorable and now there is even a bunny character, thanks to the addition of the new Zootopia nuiMOs. Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde are now available to add to your collection. You can even accessorize them in the next items in this gift guide!

Dress your nuiMOs in some Spring finery with the new Cottage Core Collection. With an emphasis on floral accents and the use of a light color scheme, the whole collection simply sings “Spring.” And can we just appreciate that there is an actual nuiMOs-sized picnic basket and blanket set? As a nuiMOs enthusiast, I am thrilled with the designs in this collection.

Loungefly’s Bambi Springtime Collection

Loungefly has a new collection starring some of your favorite woodland creatures from Bambi. The Bambi Springtime Collection includes bags, accessories, and even a few pieces of apparel.

Bambi and Flower Springtime Mini Backpack ($90)

Perhaps the most eye-catching item in this collection is this Bambi and Flower Springtime Mini Backpack. The front depicts the deer prince’s first encounter with his future skunk friend. The scene looks especially detailed thanks to the use of appliqué, which adds an almost 3D effect. An enamel butterfly decorates the zipper pull. And the flowerbed wraps around the sides of the bag, with a small graphic of Flower the skunk on the back with the quote, “You can call me a flower if you want to.”

Bambi Springtime Mini Backpack ($75)

The Bambi Springtime Mini Backpack is more understated than the previous style in this collection. The embroidered details coupled with the decorative bow and gingham pattern bring to mind Easter baskets. I appreciate that a number of Bambi’s forest buddies were incorporated into the design, rather than just Bambi and Flower. On the back is Bambi with a little blue butterfly resting on his tail, surrounded by a floral motif.

Bambi Springtime Crossbody Bag ($70)

This Crossbody Bag is similar in style to the Bambi Springtime Mini Backpack. The bag’s strap is a combination of metal chains and vegan leather.

Bambi Springtime Tri-Fold Wallet ($40)

And just like the Bambi Springtime Mini Backpack and Crossbody Bag, this Tri-Fold Wallet is decorated with Bambi and friends, surrounded by gingham and floral accents. Inside the wallet, there are six card slots and an ID card window. A zippered pouch for change and bills is located on the back of the wallet.

Bambi Springtime Hoodie ($65)

This charming hoodie is full of detail. On the front is a screen-printed image of Bambi and Flower along with a kangaroo pocket sewn underneath. The lining of the hood is decorated with flowers. And gingham patterned sleeves contrast the main body nicely. Sizes run from  Small to 3X.

Bambi Springtime Tee ($35)

And if you are looking for something with an all-over print, this Bambi Springtime Tee is both colorful and seasonal. The garment is covered with art of Bambi, Flower, Thumper, several birds, and, of course, plenty of springtime blooms. Sizes range from Small to 3X.

Loungefly’s Minnie Mouse Daisy Collection

April showers bring Minnie Mouse-shaped flowers for a new Loungefly collection.

Minnie Mouse Daisy Mini Backpack ($75)

The mouse ears that adorn the top of this Mini Backpack are decorated with vegan leather daisies. The bow, zipper, and straps are made of complimentary yellow that works perfectly with faux flora as well as the bag’s print.

Minnie Mouse Daisy Crossbody Bag ($70)

If you prefer purses over backpacks but still love that Minnie Mouse Daisy look, this Crossbody Bag works well. It makes a Minnie Mouse silhouette from the flowers and a black polka-dot bow. The shoulder strap, like the majority of the bag’s exterior, is white.

Minnie Mouse Daisy Zip Around Wallet ($40)

This wallet combines daisies, mouse ears, and bows to match the rest of the collection. The interior has six card slots, an ID card window, and a zippered pocket that runs about the width of the wallet.

Minnie Mouse Daisy Ear Headband ($30)

The coordinating Ear Headband rounds out the Minnie Mouse Daisy Collection. As seen on other related items, the mouse ears are made from vegan leather daisies with a matching bow. “Disney Loungelfy” is embroidered along one side of the headband.

Funko

Funko’s many figures and plushes would make great additions to Easter baskets. And for those of us who celebrate Passover, they could also serve as rewards for finding the afikomen during the Seder.

Popsies Figures ($7 each) – Mickey Mouse, Winnie the Pooh

Funko Popsies are character figures with messages that “pop up” when you push a button at the base. There are a variety of Disney, Pixar, and Marvel styles, so even if the Mickey or Pooh figures shown here aren’t your cup of tea, you will likely still find one that appeals to you.

Walt Disney World 50th Plushes ($12 each) – Magic Kingdom Castle, Space Mountain, Tree of Life, Spaceship Earth, Hollywood Tower Hotel

Walt Disney World is currently commemorating its 50th anniversary and you can get celebrate at home with these anthropomorphized plushes of Parks landmarks. They are made in a style similar to Disney’s long-retired plush line, Pook-a-looz, with a flat body. Designs include Magic Kingdom Castle (yes, I know it is actually Cinderella Castle but that is what the item is called), Space Mountain, the Tree of Life, Spaceship Earth, and the Hollywood Tower Hotel. My favorite is the Tree of Life with the animals surrounding the trunk. Each plush is about 7 inches tall.

Turning Red – Red Panda Mei Plush ($TBA)

Another plush option is this Red Panda Mei from Disney and Pixar’s recently-released film, Turning Red. Like Walt Disney World plushes, Mei is about 7 inches tall. However, her design is more three-dimensional, with a rounder head and body and plump tail. Red Panda Mei is not in stock yet but you can sign up to be alerted when she is by selecting the  “Notify Me” option on her item listing.

Harry Barker

Eco-friendly pet goods designer Harry Barker recently teamed up with Disney for a special merchandise collection. There are 24 items in this collection and here is a sampling of what is included.

Classic Mickey Hoodie ($22 – 30)

Your puppy, or very amicable kitty, can now dress in an old-school hoodie, much like the human-sized ones that are occasionally seen in the Parks. A distressed classic Mickey Mouse image is screen-printed on the back and it even has drawstrings. If drawstrings are the sort of thing that would be viewed as a potential toy by your pet, this might not be the outfit for them, though. Sizes range from X-Small to X-Large, and you can see the corresponding measurements on the item’s listing.

Classic Mickey Socks ($8-10)

If your pet likes to protect its paws, these Classic Mickey Socks are a great fit. They have grips on the bottom so they won’t slip or slide while wearing them. And thankfully, they are machine washable. One order comes with two pairs of socks. Sizes are X-Small/Small and Medium/Large. 

Play Ball Set ($12)

Different Mickey Mouse faces and phrases are printed on each of the rubber balls. It is a clever way to infuse some Disney into your typical game of fetch.

Modern Mickey Ortho Lounger ($130 – $160)

After a long day of playing, your pet can relax on this ortho lounger with a Mickey silhouette-filled (machine washable!) cover. The bed’s filling consists of chipped memory foam on the bottom and recycled polyfill on the back and side bumpers. This bed comes in Medium and Large sizes.
