Are you ready for Halloween? Sure, you may have a costume picked out and taken the fall decor out of storage but do you have a themed outfit for daytime outings? No? Don’t be scared! We’ve got a peek at Loungfly’s Halloween 2021 offerings, including their Stitch Shoppe clothing line. There is something for everyone: Mickey and Minnie fans, Hocus Pocus enthusiasts, Nightmare Before Christmas lovers, aspiring villains, princesses-in-training, and admirers of … Lilo and Stitch? Let’s take a look.

Mickey and Minnie are donning delightful disguises for these Halloween collections.
Mickey-o-Lantern Collection
Mickey-o-Lantern Glow in the Dark Mini Backpack ($75)
The front pocket on this Mini Backpack is made to resemble a Mickey Mouse-shaped Jack-o-Lantern. The print used on the main compartment is also full of mouse-inspired gourds. And while it is cool that the face on the bigger Mickey-o-Lantern glows in the dark, I am actually more impressed that those on the Mini Backpack’s print do as well. The combined effect is not just pretty to look at but has a slightly spooky air to it, just what you would want for a Halloween accessory.
Mickey-o-Lantern Glow in the Dark Ear Headband ($30)
This Ear Headband is similar in concept to the Mickey Pumpkin Ear Headband currently sold at Disney Parks for Halloween Time but I think I prefer Loungefly’s design. One “ear” is comprised of a Mickey Jack-o-Lantern while the other is Minnie’s image. The logos for Disney and Loungefly are embroidered on one of the band’s sides. And as you would expect from any good Jack-o-Lantern, the faces on the pair glow in the dark.
Mickey-O-Lantern Glow-in-the-Dark Crossbody Bag ($65)
I know we only just started our showcase of Loungefly’s Halloween merchandise but we have already hit my favorite of the bunch, the Mickey-O-Lantern Crossbody Bag. I simply love its overall look. This cutie not only glows in the dark, much like a real Jack-o-Lantern, but its design also brings to mind that magical Mickey Pumpkin photo-op at Disneyland’s Main Street, USA.
Mickey-o-Lantern Glow in the Dark Flap Wallet ($40)
Rounding out the Mickey-o-Lantern Collection is this flap wallet. It uses metal snaps to close instead of a zipper. The print on the wallet’s exterior matches the one seen on the Mini Backpack. On the inside, there is a window for an ID, several credit card slots, and a pocket for bills. And like everything else in this collection, there is a glow-in-the-dark element, found on the exterior print’s Mickey-o-Lantern’s faces.
Minnie Mouse Ghost Collection
Minnie Mouse Ghost Glow in the Dark Cosplay Mini Backpack ($75)
Just like the Mickey-o-Lantern Collection, the items in the Minnie Mouse Ghost Collection have glow-in-the-dark elements. For this adorable Mini Backpack, Minnie cosplays as a friendly specter, and her whole ghostly form glows in the dark. On the backside of the bag, Minnie leaves the message “BOO!,” with bows on the O’s, of course.
Minnie Mouse Ghost Glow in the Dark Ear Headband ($30)
I think this Ear Headband might work better in the dark than during the daytime. The concept of two little Minnie Mouse Ghosts hovering above your head looks slightly less impressive with the visible black bars underneath them (which would likely go unnoticed in a darker setting), attaching the pair to the headband. It is, however, appreciated that the Minnie Ghost “ears’ are not the only luminescent pieces of the accessory. The headband itself also glows in the dark.
Minnie Mouse Ghost Glow in the Dark Cosplay Zip Around Wallet ($40)
Unlike the one from the previous collection, this wallet uses a zipper to secure its contents. It has a glow-in-the-dark exterior with Minnie’s ghostly grin greeting you every time you whip out your library card. The inside includes an ID window, several slots for cards, and pockets for bills (which seem like they would have to be folded to fit).
Spooky Mickey and Minnie Candy Corn Collection
Spooky Mickey and Minnie Mouse Candy Corn Mini Backpack with Ear Headband ($100)
Spooky Mickey and Minnie Mouse Candy Corn Ear Headband [by themselves] ($30)
This clever combo of a Mini Backpack and matching Ear Headband is sold as a bundle, which makes sense since the bag is designed with a special front pocket to hold the accessory. This pocket is more like a sleeve with two straps near the opening, secured by metal snaps. You can watch this handy little video below to get a feel for how it works. The print on the bag and the Ear Headband is full of pumpkins, ghosts, and bats, all of which have either Mickey or Minnie’s face on them. The bag’s loop and the Headband’s bow are colored to match candy corns. You have the option to purchase the Headband as a standalone (you cannot do that with the Mini Backpack, unfortunately).
Spooky Mickey and Minnie Mouse Candy Corn Zip Around Wallet ($40)
This is another zippered wallet but unlike the Minnie Mouse Ghost one from earlier on, it is long enough in width that dollar bills can fit into their designated pocket without being folded. The card pockets on the inside are the colors of candy corn. Other features include an ID card window and a zippered pocket on the inside (a great place for loose change).
Spooky Mickey and Minnie “Laci” Dress ($100)
The Spooky Mickey and Minnie Mouse “Laci” Dress blends a more classic dress cut with Halloween-flavored Disney magic. The orange, yellow, and black gingham pattern used is the perfect embodiment of fall foliage. And it’s dotted with the mousey couple dressed as bats, ghosts, and pumpkins with some candy corn sprinkled about for good measure. The dress material is a stretchy sateen blend and even has an elasticized back for added comfort. But perhaps best of all, it has pockets! It comes with an enamel pin with Mickey and Minnie Ghosts as a bonus, exclusively available with this dress. Available in sizes XS through 4X.

Sanderson Sisters Collection
Sanderson Sisters Mini Backpack (Price $80)
Hocus Pocus’s bewitching Sanderson Sisters take on a more cartoony form for this collection. On this Mini Backpack, the trio is joined by Binx the cat, who is perched near the top of the bag. Winifred is positioned on the smaller, front compartment, with Mary and Sarah hiding behind it. Along the body of the bag, mystical symbols are engraved into the vegan leather exterior.
Sanderson Sisters Flap Wallet ($40)
This flap wallet has the faces of Winifred, Sarah, and Mary on one side and Binx the cat on the other. The print used on the inside has images of the four characters drawn in the same style as that seen on the outside of the wallet. Features include an ID card window, several sleeves for credit cards and the like, a pocket for bills, and a zippered compartment on one of the sides for change.
Hocus Pocus Scene Allover Print Collection
Hocus Pocus Scene Allover Print Crossbody Bag ($70)
The print used on this crossbody bag depicts different scenes from Hocus Pocus in a cutesy art style. It has a metal handle on top (an interesting choice) with an adjustable, removable shoulder strap. It uses a snap closure to secure the bag’s contents but for those very special items, there is also a small zippered compartment sewn into the inner lining.
Hocus Pocus Scene Allover Print Zip Around Wallet ($40)
This wallet is zip-around style. The inside has an ID Card window, several slots for cards, a sleeve for bills, and a good size zippered pocket for change.
Other Collections
Binx Candle Cardholder ($20)
If all you need is a little something to hold a few cards and perhaps some small loose items (change, a house key, etc.) but you still want to join in the Halloween spirit, this Binx Candle Cardholder is a festive choice. Inspired by Hocus Pocus’s Black Flame Candle, the front has detailed art similar to that seen in the film (complete with glitter appliqué “flame”). The backside is equipped with several card slots (no ID card window, though) and zippered pouch, accessible through an opening on the side.
Hocus Pocus “Gemma” Dress ($110)
Just like embroidery on the collar on the says, this Hocus Pocus “Gemma” Dress will “put a spell on you.” The skirt’s art depicts the Sanderson Sisters flying about with Billy Butcherson, Binx the cat, and Dani looking on from below. If a passerby misses the design as they walk by, it is repeated on the backside as well. The top is a complimentary purple. Like the Spooky Mickey and Minnie “Laci” Dress, this one is a sateen blend with pockets. Additionally, you’ll receive a Binx Headstone pin with your purchase. Available in sizes XS through 4X.
Nightmare Before Christmas
Jack Skellington Collection
Headless Jack Skellington Mini Backpack ($80)
Jack is taking a cue from the Headless Horseman for this Mini Backpack. The Pumpkin King’s noggin rests in his bony hands and serves as the bag’s front pocket. The main compartment looks just like his pinstripe suit, right down to the bat-adorned bow.
Jack Skellington Accordion Wallet ($25)
This accordion wallet is the only one of its kind in this showcase. Just like the Mini Backpack, the outside of the wallet bears a resemblance to Jack Skellington’s suit. Unzip it to reveal a plethora of open pockets, thanks to its accordion style.
Simply Meant to Be Collection
Simply Meant to Be Mini Backpack ($70)
The art used in this collection is absolutely gorgeous. I love that it also subtly incorporates embroidered and appliquéd details into the design. And can we just appreciate how darling Zero looks in this art style? While this bag only has a single, large compartment with no front section, I still think it would be perfect for a fan of The Nightmare Before Christmas.
Simply Meant to Be Crossbody Bag ($70)
I know I was gushing over this collection’s art quite a bit in that last item but I am not done yet. In my opinion, the colorful scene looks best on this Crossbody Bag. It may be the wider spacing in the characters’ placements that I find more appealing. In any case, this purse has soft carrying handles as well as an adjustable, removable shoulder strap.
Simply Meant to Be Flap Wallet ($40)
Extend the art even further with this flap wallet. Jack and Sally get some private time on the front on this one with Zero chilling by himself on the other side. The inside has plenty of card slots along with an ID card window, a bill sleeve, and a zippered pocket for change.
The Nightmare Before Christmas Eternally Yours “Ariana” Fashion Top ($35)
The Nightmare Before Christmas “Sandy” Skirt ($75)
The art on these two Stitch Shoppe pieces (sold separately) matches perfectly with Loungefly’s Simply Meant to Be Collection of accessories. And while the top and skirt would likely look best together, they also would work well with other fall standbys already in your closet. The top has a graphic with Jack Skellington and Sally sharing a loving embrace with Zero looking on. The phrase “Eternally Yours” is printed above. It is a slim-cut shirt made from a jersey blend of fabrics, giving it some stretch. The skirt’s art is the same as is on the bags and wallet. It includes pockets, a back zipper, and an elastic waistband. Plus, you’ll receive the same Stitch Shoppe-exclusive Zero pin, regardless of which piece you purchase. Both pieces run from XS through 4X.
Oogie Boogie Wheel Collection
Oogie Boogie Wheel Mini Backpack ($80)
Out of all of Loungefly’s Halloween 2021 releases, this one is the most fitting for Disney California Adventure’s currently-running after-hours Halloween shindig, Oogie Boogie Bash. The bag’s front pocket takes the form of Oogie Boogie’s roulette wheel with Oogie Boogie himself behind it, joined by Jack Skellington, Sally, and Sandy Claws – oops, I mean Santa Claus. The zipper pull for the front pocket fittingly takes the form of a pair of dice. The art also has neon accents that will look especially vibrant under a black light.
Oogie Boogie Wheel Zip Around Wallet ($40)
This Zip Around Wallet splits the four characters featured on the Mini Backpack between its two sides. On one side, you’ll see Oogie Boogie and Santa Claus (poor Santa!). The other side has Jack Skellington and Sally. Oogie Boogie’s roulette wheel wraps around the edge of the wallet and is seen on both sides. The art has neon accents similar to those on the Mini Backpack. The interior is well-themed with bugs scattered across the lining’s print and the change purse decorated with the roulette wheel’s symbols. This wallet includes an ID window, several card slots, a zippered change purse, and a pocket for bills.
Halloween Line Collection
Halloween Line Mini Backpack ($70)
If you are looking for accessories that include more of Halloween Town’s residents, look no further than this collection. The print has characters parading across it, looking for a good scare. Within the art, you’ll spy Jack, Sally, Zero, the Mayor, Lock, Shock, and Barrel, and the Harlequin Demon. The Mini Backpack’s design is one of Loungefly’s standard styles and one you often see used for prints like this. It has a smaller zippered compartment on the front with the main zippered compartment behind it.
Halloween Line Crossbody Bag ($70)
This Crossbody Bag closes with a (very snazzy) stylized clasp with Jack Skellington’s face on it. Its straps are adjustable and removable but without a handle of any kind, you will need a strap of some sort to use it.
Halloween Line Zip Around Wallet ($40)
This Zip Around Wallet is simple yet effective in design, similar to what we have seen with the rest of this collection. The outside showcases the print in all its glory, unfettered by additional details to draw attention from it. The inside is equipped with an ID window, card slots, a zippered change purse, and a pocket for bills.
Villains & Princesses
Disney Villains Happily Never After “Ariana” Fashion Top ($35)
Disney Villains Happily Never After “Sandy” Skirt ($75)
Classic Disney villains like Captain Hook, the Queen of Hearts, and even Yzma get their turn in the limelight (sort of) with these Stitch Shoppe pieces. The art interprets those baddies that we love to hate as books and lettering. On the fitted top, “Happily Never After” is printed across the chest, accented by the characters’ identifying accessories or features. The skirt, however, shows a shelf full of terrifying tomes named after various villains with sidekicks and the like scattered around them. Both the top and skirt are the same styles as those highlighted in The Nightmare Before Christmas section. The same Stitch Shoppe-exclusive pin, this time a stack of books, comes packaged with both the Villains Happily Never After fashion top and skirt.
Sleeping Beauty Embroidered “Dizzy” Fashion Top ($35)
Sleeping Beauty “Sandy” Skirt ($80)
This set of Sleeping Beauty-themed pieces is my favorite of the Stitch Shoppe merchandise in this article. The top takes a cue from Aurora’s dress in the animated Disney classic with the off-shoulder design. The straps can also be on the shoulders for the less daring types, thanks to the top’s stretchy jersey fabric. “Once upon a dream” is embroidered on the chest, accompanied by the princess’s crown and sprinkles of fairy magic. The three good fairies, Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather, are the stars of the skirt. They float protectively around the castle, leave trails of fairy dust in their wake. And it seems that Flora and Merryweather moved their “Make it pink, make it blue” feud to the skirt’s waistband. One side has Flora’s wish for pink embroidered onto it. Meanwhile, Merryweather’s blue magic leaves an embroidered mark on the opposite end. The top and skirt each come with the same pin made in the image of the birthday cake the fairies made for their princess. Sizes XS through 4x are available for both items.
Lilo and Stitch (?)
Vampire Stitch Mini Backpack ($75)
I will admit Stitch is not the first character that comes to mind when I think “Halloween” but this bag is so darn sweet that I can’t object. The design is rather clever as well. Open Vampire Stitch’s cape (secured with a pair of metal snaps) to reveal his costume suit, which serves as the front zippered pocket. The video at the end of this section shows them in action. Simply darling!
Vampire Stitch Flap Wallet ($40)
This flap wallet is doubly secured, not just by the metal snaps on the inside but also by the ones from Vampire Stitch’s cape. Aside from that, the interior is similar to the other flap wallets we have seen in this article, with several card slots, an ID window, a bill pocket, and a zippered coin purse.
