Spring brings another scavenger hunt to Epcot’s Flower and Garden Festival. This time it’s a host of Disney character-decorated eggs! The Egg-stravaganza is a very limited offering, so let’s jump right in and get started. Maps are available for purchase and include a prize at the end. Although, you can always hunt without purchasing the maps if you choose.
Setting Up For Egg-Hunting Success
Egg-stravaganza maps are available at most retail locations for $7.99 (plus tax). Now, with map in hand, it’s time to head out to World Showcase, where you’ll find decorated Eggs are found hiding throughout the pavilions.
Will you start in Mexico or Canada? We chose to start in Canada. While we are going to show you some eggs below, we are not giving away the exact locations.
On the Hunt- The Usual Suspects
As with previous scavenger hunts at Epcot, look high, look low, you’re sure to find them all. The eggs are decorated as some of our favorite animated Disney characters. Of course, the Fab 5 are egged out.
While not an official Fab 5 member, I’m including Daisy with her pals.
On the Hunt- Some Eggcellent Characters
Who else would be included in the hunt? Rabbits, of course!
And we can’t forget about Figment. After all, he’s the mascot of Epcot.
My son Johnny’s current favorite, he was excited to find Perry the Platypus. While he may not seem to be an obvious choice, it’s a throwback to Agent P’s World Showcase Adventure. Perry is sitting up high. Is he on the lookout for Dr. Doofenshmirtz?
Double Dale?
Chip and Dale are getting in on the game too. Apparently, Dale wanted a little eggs-tra fun as he can be found twice!
Claim your prize!
The Egg-stravaganza is complete, with 12 eggs on the map and a bonus Dale. Time to claim our prize.
For your hard work in finding all the eggs, you’re able to choose from one of six eggs decorated as Chip, Dale, Mickey, Minnie, Donald, or Daisy. Just keep in mind that quantities are limited. In fact, when we went they were out of Daisy for the day.
