Grab your raincoat and umbrella because it’s raining cat and dog merchandise! Starting December 28, the Reigning Cats and Dogs Collection heads not only to Disney Parks (the Walt Disney World Resort and Downtown Disney at the Disneyland Resort) but also online on shopDisney. If you have a favorite furry friend from Disney films, there is a good chance that you’ll find them somewhere in this collection. Interestingly, we have seen this art style previously on a pair of Dooney & Bourke bags.
[Note: The shopDisney links provided in this article will not be active until December 28.]
Pet Apparel and Accessories
Dogs will look pretty dang dapper in the following shirt and dress (though probably best not to put them both on at the same time).
The Disney Dogs Shirt for Dogs ($39.99) is available here.

The Disney Dogs Dress for Dogs ($39.99) is available here.

If your dog is going for a more casual look, there are also two different hoodies for sale. The blue is probably intended for boys and the pink for girls but I don’t see why a male pup can’t rock a Lady-themed hoodie with a bow on it.
The Blue Disney Dogs Hoodie for Dogs ($34.99) is available here.

The Pink Disney Dogs Hoodie for Dogs ($34.99) is available here.

This Spirit Jersey print is probably my favorite so far. And with dogs as the print’s focus, it only seems fair that there be a Spirit Jersey for them, too.
The Disney Dogs Spirit Jersey for Dogs ($24.99) is available here.

Some pets just don’t like to wear clothes but they can still feel a little fancier donning one of the bandanas from this set. Now, I really think they could have included cats in the designs on this one. I think felines would be more amenable to wearing a bandana than a shirt or dress.
The Disney Dogs Bandana Set for Dogs ($24.99) is available here.

With a collection name like “Reigning Cats and Dogs,” rain gear is pretty much required. This hooded raincoat will help keep your best friend nice and dry during a rainy walk.
The Disney Dogs Raincoat for Dogs ($34.99) is available here.

Here are some more items that could have easily incorporated cats into the art as well. The collar bowtie and bow accessories simply attach to your pet’s collar and I don’t understand why it is limited to just dog art.
The Disney Dogs Bowtie Collar Accessory ($6.99) is available here.
The Disney Dogs Bow Collar Accessory ($6.99) is available here.

With this collection, you have the opportunity to swap out your pup’s generic collar for one filled with beloved Disney dogs. Pair it with a matching lead to double the cuteness.
The Disney Dogs Dog Collar ($17.99) is available here.
The Disney Dogs Dog Lead ($17.99) is available here.

Finally, we get to the sampling of cat-specific pet items. There are only three total and here are two of them: a collar and a teaser toy. Now, I love dogs but this just seems uneven in representation.
The Disney Cats Cat Collar ($12.99) is available here.
The Disney Cats Cat Toy ($17.99) is available here.

Yes, your canine and feline companions can even dine out of themed dishes. The dog bowl has tall straight sides and the cat bowl has sloped sides.
The Disney Dogs Pet Dish ($19.99) is available here.
The Disney Cats Pet Dish ($19.99) is available here.

Human Apparel and Accessories
These little baby outfits are both clever and charming but I take issue with the fact Disney seems to be leaning towards the “cats are for girls, dogs are for boys” mentality with these.
The Disney Cats Bodysuit for Baby ($24.99) is available here.
The Disney Dogs “I Chews You” Bodysuit for Baby ($19.99) is available here.

Girls have the choice between a breezy cat-covered dress or a fun puppy shirt. But what about boys? Oh, they get one option, a shirt with Pluto. I sure hope your son or nephew or intended young male giftee prefers dogs over cats because they are fresh out of luck otherwise.
The Disney Cats Dress for Girls ($34.99) is available here.
The Disney Dogs “I’m Here to Pet All the Puppies” T-Shirt for Girls ($29.99) is available here.
The Pluto Striped T-Shirt for Boys ($24.99) is available here.

The art used for the Reigning Cats and Dogs collection is one of the most endearing that Disney has used in a long time. It is great to have a chance to see more of the print on these leggings.
The Disney Dogs Leggings for Girls ($24.99) is available here.
The Disney Dogs Leggings for Women ($39.99) is available here.
The Disney Cats Leggings for Women ($39.99) is available here.

Okay, I really like the phrases used on both the Lady and Marie shirts. They are clever without being acerbic.
The Lady “More Disney. More Dogs.” T-shirt for Women ($36.99) is available here.
The Disney Dogs T-shirt for Women ($36.99) is available here.
The Marie “You Say ‘Cat Lady’ Like Its a Bad Thing” T-shirt for Women ($36.99) is available here.
The Disney Cats T-shirt for Women ($36.99) is available here.

Not only is there a human-version of the Spirit Jersey for Dogs that we saw earlier, it is actually made even cuter with the addition of the art of Nana on the front.
The Disney Dogs Spirit Jersey for Adults ($64.99) is available here.

You can also go the fancy route and opt for a dress featuring a dog or cat print. The Dogs Dress matches some of the Dogs shirt for Dogs seen earlier in the article.
The Disney Dogs Dress for Women ($108) is available here.

The Disney Cats Dress for Women ($128) is available here.

I know the description says that the Rain Jacket is for women but I bet men could wear it as well. I am glad to see that it’s raining both cats and dogs on this one. There is also a rain hat with a similar print. Rounding out the rain gear is the umbrella, which has bigger art of cats and dogs on the panels.
The Disney Parks Reigning Cats and Dogs Rain Jacket for Women ($54.99) is available here.

The Disney Cats and Dogs Rain Hat for Adults ($29.99) is available here.

The Disney Parks Reigning Cats and Dogs Umbrella ($39.99) is available here.

The “Cat Lady” phrase from the Marie shirt makes a return, this time on a baseball cap. I love the pawprints on the bill! There are also two new Headbands (I hesitate to call them “Ear Headbands” since they don’t use the typical Mickey or Minnie ear format). You can choose between one of the 101 Dalmatians or Marie.
The Disney Cats Baseball Cap for Adults ($27.99) is available here.

The 101 Dalmatians Headband ($24.99) is available here.

The Marie Plush Headband (24.99) is available here.

Loungefly contributes to the collection with the addition of two Mini Backpacks and two Wallets. The Mini Backpack and matching Wallet stars three different dog (Rolly, Lady, and Pluto) or cat (Marie, Figaro, and Oliver) friends. The backside of the dogs’ Mini Backpack has the phrase, “Life is a walk in the park.” The cats’ one reads, “Meow-gical!”
The Rolly, Lady, and Pluto Loungefly Mini Backpack ($90) is available here.

The Rolly, Lady, and Pluto Loungefly Wallet ($50) is available here.

The Marie, Figaro, and Oliver Loungefly Mini Backpack ($90) is available here.

The Marie, Figaro, and Oliver Loungefly Wallet ($50) is available here.

If you like your accessories to go “jingle, jangle,” you’ll want to give these bangles by Alex and Ani a look. The dogs version has charms of Pluto and Pongo. You’ll find Marie and the Cheshire Cat on the cats one.
The Disney Dogs Bangle by Alex and Ani ($49.99) is available here.

The Disney Cats Bangle by Alex and Ani ($49.99) is available here.

Odds and Ends
It is hard to resist the urge to snap a pic or two of your furry companion. There are several options for displaying those photos with Disney flair. You can choose between cat or dog versions of a photo frame or a magnet, for hanging on the fridge.
The Disney Dogs Photo Frame ($29.99) is available here.

The Disney Cats Photo Frame ($29.99) is available here.

The Disney Dogs Magnet ($7.99) is available here.

The Disney Cats Magnet ($7.99) is available here.

Like the magnets, these molded keychains also use vinyl as a base. The dogs’ “Stay Paw-sitive” keychain has Dodger from Oliver and Company (that’s a rare one!). Yzma of The Emperor’s New Groove is on the cats’ “Cat Lady” one.
The Disney Dogs Keychain ($7.99) is available here.

The Disney Cats Keychain ($7.99) is available here.

Record the memorable days spent with your dog or cat in one of these journals (complete with matching pens). Each journal has 96 lined pages with character art as accents.
The Disney Dogs Journal and Pen Set ($22.99) is available here.

The Disney Cats Journal and Pen St ($22.99) is available here.

Make human or pet cookies with these sets containing themed spatulas and matching cookie cutters. The dog set has Dug from Up and the cat one has Thomas O’Malley of the Aristocrats.
The Disney Dogs Spatula and Cookie Cutter Set ($19.99) is available here.

The Disney Cats Spatula and Cookie Cutter Set ($19.99) is available here.

Enjoy your beverage of choice amongst the company of Disney dogs or cats with these mugs. Depending on the style, the handle will either read “I’m a dog person” or “I’m a cat person.”
The Disney Dogs Mug ($14.99) is available here.

The Disney Cats Mug ($14.99) is available here.

Dish towels don’t get much cuter than the four found in these two sets. Each themed set has one towel with an all-over print and another with art running along the bottom.
The Disney Dogs Kitchen Towel Set ($19.99) is available here.

The Disney Cats Kitchen Towel Set ($19.99) is available here.
