Calling all Star Wars fans, starting today, Downtown Disney’s Wonderground Gallery is converting to a Star Wars-themed store called Star Wars Trading Post. The location was previously known for showcasing different artists and their unique interpretations of Disney characters in original art and prints. As of now, the space has been taken over by Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and will sell the merchandise from the land while Disneyland remains closed. Although this change is temporary (with no specific end date), let’s take a look at what Batuu has brought to the Star Wars Trading Post in Downtown Disney.

The big Wonderground Gallery sign over the entrance is simply covered with fabric. The Star Wars Trading Post sign is significantly smaller and made up of cargo materials, placed close to the door. It really captures the spirit of Galaxy’s Edge…both the good and bad.

I suspect one of the biggest draws is this plush of The Child. The toy made its debut in Walt Disney World’s Galaxy’s Edge after the resort’s reopening but this is his first time being sold on this coast.

The rest of the Toydarian Toymaker plush toy line (and some other goodies) are also stocked.

All of the animals from the Creature Stall are stocked— some in chests and others on store racks. And yes, they have both colors of Kowakian Monkey Lizards.

There are several display cases filled with lightsabers. Guests will also be happy to see Kyber Crystals are available for purchase that will change the color and sound of lightsabers from Galaxy’s Edge.

And while it may not be the Droid Factory, the store does have pre-assembled Droids of various models.

And those fabulous Jedi robes, along with other Star Wars cosplay apparel, are also here. Although, the weather might be a tinge too hot right now to sport them.
