When it comes to this year’s Halloween merchandise, it is clear that Disney has chosen “treats” over “tricks.” And given the state of the world right now, that’s just fine with us. The Disney Parks will feature several new collections of Halloween-themed merchandise this year. Some of these items are available now on shopDisney, but it appears the rest will be found exclusively at the Disney Parks. Let’s take a closer look at the scary-good merchandise for a Disney Halloween.

Disney Parks 2020 Halloween Collection

This collection mainly focuses on Mickey and friends all dressed up in their Halloween costumes, but also incorporates some fun seasonal imagery tied to the parks (Mickey Pumpkins, for example).

The Halloween Spirit Jersey this year fashions the lettering of Disneyland or Walt Disney World out of sugary confections with a hint of spookiness, thanks to ghosts, bats, and the like.

The Halloween Candy Ear Headband utilizes two orange, yellow, and black lollipops as the ears. The band has the phrase “Sweet and Spooky” on it.

The Witch Sequined Ear Headband has been a staple in Halloween merchandise for years now. This year’s version uses a giant piece of candy corn (I can’t be the only one who likes those, right?) as the base with a little wrapped candy for the bow. A darling interpretation!

This Loungefly Mini Backpack, coming later this month, is covered with seasonal sweets like the Ghost Mickey candy apple and the Mummy Mickey rice crispy treat.

Here we see several items of note. The one that caught my eye right away was the Mickey plush (of course, I am partial to plush toys). The muted color scheme has a kind of spooky vibe to it, don’t you think? In the background, you’ll spot not only a dated Vampire Mickey sweatshirt but also a character pumpkin mask.Disney Parks Halloween Collection 2020, Spooky Season On The Way – New Disney Parks Halloween Collections

Disney Parks Villain Collection

Famous Disney baddies are the stars of this collection.

The Fiery Hades takes the form of a flame-kissed Spirit Jersey.

You can pair the Spirit Jersey with this headband inspired by the God of the Dead to make an easy cosplay. It looks a tad feather duster-y to me, though.

Maleficent is treated to a headband of her own with her signature horns as the focal point. The Sea Witch Ursula is also seen below on a crop-top. And we also catch a glimpse of another Halloween-flavored face mask.

Disney Parks The Nightmare Before Christmas Collection

Celebrate Halloween AND Christmas with Jack Skellington and friends (although, does Oogie Boogie count as a friend?).

Jack’s bony countenance covers not only this bucket hat but also the face mask seen below as well.

The Sally-themed tie-back blouse from Her Universe will be available this September as will the matching face mask (sold separately). And while it is a little bit hard to see in the photo, an ear headband inspired by Jack’s outfit is also part of this collection.

You want Oogie Boogie? You got him! The woven cap mimics the look of Oogie Boogie’s burlap body. The buggy bad guy also gets his own themed hooded sweatshirt.

But wait, there is even more Oogie Boogie! He also is featured on this Spirit Jersey. Also in this photo are two Loungefly items: an Ear Headband and a backpack.

Disney Parks Haunted Mansion Collection

We previewed some of these items a few months ago and now we can get our mortal hands on them.

In my personal opinion, this Ghost Host mini backpack is one of Loungefly’s most creative backpack designs (and that says something). The Spirit Jersey imitates the pattern of Haunted Mansion’s creepy wallpaper.

Also by Loungefly is this crossbody purse. I love that the design resembles a Doom Buggy. Plus, anything with the Hitchhiking Ghosts is an automatic “must-buy” for me. The Her Universe tie-back blouse is a more colorful way to share your love for the attraction.

shopDisney/Disney Parks Wheelchair Cover Sets

Halloween is meant for everyone and Disney is helping those who use wheelchairs, or have other accessibility needs, find the perfect costume this year. The wheelchair cover sets are available for pre-order now on shopDisney (they will ship this September) and will be available for purchase at Disney Parks as well in the near future. shopDisney offers matching adaptive kids costumes (available now) but it is unclear if those will also be offered at the Parks.

The Cinderella’s Coach Wheelchair Cover Set is pure Disney Magic in action. The art on each piece looks remarkably close to what is seen in the animated film. Kids can also pair the wheelchair cover with the Cinderella adaptive costume for kids.

The Incredimobile Wheelchair Cover Set transforms a wheelchair into a vehicle for superheroes (although, let’s be honest, it already is). Kids can round out the outfit with the Incredibles 2 adaptive costume for kids.
