Picture this. You just scored a Boarding Pass for Disneyland’s Rise of the Resistance but, you’ve got a lot of time to kill before it’s your turn to join the Resistance. You’ve already made it to Galaxy’s Edge, so what’s do you do while you wait? Why, you partake in the new food, drinks, and merchandise, of course!

Disney released several new menu items as well as different souvenirs yesterday in celebration of Rise of Resistance’s West Coast opening. Let’s take a trip to Batuu to see what’s Ba-nuu!

Galactic Grub

Let’s talk about foodstuffs first. Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge now has two new drinks and one new snack for guests to order. The snack is the Galma Garlic Puffed Cheese Crisps, crispy puffs flavored with cheese and garlic. They are sold at any of the Jat Kaa’s Coolers (those droid-propelled beverage carts roaming the land).

As for beverages, the first one, the Toydaria Swirl, takes “Green Milk” and swirls in chili lime seasoning and mango jelly. Given the main ingredient, it should come as no surprise that this one is available for order at the Milk Stand. The other drink, the Black Spire Hot Chocolate, can be ordered at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo as well as Ronto Roasters. It is your standard Earth-style cocoa but with a topping of purple, shimmery whipped cream.

Interstellar Items

There is a variety of new merchandise created for Rise of the Resistance, including several shirts, a hat, a tumbler, and exclusive trading pins.

Should you choose to venture off the planet of Batuu, you can still come across newly-released Star Wars merchandise.

This beverage container, shaped like Kylo Ren’s TIE Fighter, was spotted over at the Galactic Grill in Tomorrowland. It costs $18.49 before tax or Annual Passholder discount and includes a fountain beverage.

And for those who spent time earning achievements on the Play Disney Parks app while in Galaxy’s Edge, there are exclusive trading pins sold at Little Green Men Store Command in Tomorrowland and Westward Ho Trading Company in Fronteirland. The three corresponding achievements are “Black Spire Explorer” (use the Datapad in Play Disney Parks for the first time), “Flight of the Falcon” (ride Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run), and “Hero of the Resistance” (ride Rise of the Resistance).
