After weeks of waiting, merchandise for “The Child” (AKA Baby Yoda) from the Disney+ original series, The Mandalorian, is now at the Disneyland Resort. Other items from the show have been around for a bit (you can see them in a recent Merchandise Update) but there was no sign of the little green child. But now, we can’t wait to show you the merchandise we found today featuring Baby Yoda!
Baby Yoda Apparel
A character as adorable as The Child deserves his very own Spirit Jersey. It is a no-brainer. The image of Baby Yoda on the front of this light green shirt makes it appear as if he is tucked into the folds of the seam. Charming! The backside has both the logo for Star Wars as well as the one for The Mandalorian.
This swoop-neck women’s shirt is an attractive pale green, blending perfecting with The Child’s complexion. The graphics are a tad on the simple side, but it is definitely better than nothing.
While not as creative in design as the Spirit Jersey, I think the graphic on this long-sleeved adult shirt is still a step-up from the previous women’s option.
Kids aren’t forgotten either. Here’s a youth-sized shirt with Baby Yoda on it.
Accessories and More
D-Tech now offers The Child styles, both as On-Demand phone cases and magnets as well as the standard pre-packaged phone cases (seen in the second image). Which design do you like best?
Okay, so the Yoda on this Loungefly backpack isn’t a baby but Disney is still displaying it with The Mandalorian merchandise.
While it’s still not the Child, at least this Funko POP! the figure is from The Mandalorian.
Over at shopDisney
Besides what we saw from third party manufacturers earlier this year, Disney themselves has finally listed an 11-inch plush of The Child ($24.99) on shopDisney. Unlike other dolls of this character, this item is comprised of only soft materials – no vinyl head or pieces. That’s some impressive plush sculpting right there. Unfortunately, it, like most pieces of Baby Yoda merchandise, is only available for pre-order, scheduled to ship March 12, 2020.
