Disneyland Resort Hotels
There are some fantastic options at the hotels which take things up a notch.
Disneyland Hotel

- Disneyland Hotel All-you-care-to-enjoy Feast (Reservations Required) All-you-care-to-enjoy Buffet featuring carved-to-order roasted turkey and prime rib of beef, classic holiday fixings and sides, children’s buffet, one specialty cocktail, and complimentary non-alcoholic beverages. This one is a classic . . . but the price has gone up and we think there are better options. Keep reading below.

- Steakhouse 55 (Reservations Recommended) Chef’s Tasting Menu – Butternut Squash Tortellini, Roasted Turkey Wellington, Pumpkin Brûlée

Disney’s Grand Californian Resort and Spa
- Napa Rose (Reservations Recommended) 4-Course Wine Country-inspired Meal The Prix fixe menu features delicious dishes replete with the Golden State’s finest flavors. Plus, you can commemorate the special occasion with a hand-selected flight of wines for an additional charge. You may choose to dine in the lounge or bar, where you can also select items from the à la carte menu which is only available in these areas on Thanksgiving Day. Kids can also pick the turkey dinner or items from the children’s menu. If you are looking for fancy place to go, this is your best bet.
- Storytellers Cafe (Reservations Required) Thanksgiving Buffet This character dining experience lets you eat your fill of traditional (as well as some non-traditional) Thanksgiving foods. Because you must have a reservation in order to dine, this may not be the most approachable on a last-minute basis compared to some of the other options on this list.
Downtown Disney
- Catal (Reservations Recommended) 3-Course Thanksgiving Prix Fixe – Starter (choice of one) – Butternut Squash Soup; Salmon Creek Farm Pork Belly; Deviled Eggs; Chorizo and Turkey Petite Pot Pies; or Manchego Salad, Entrée (choice of one) – Roasted Turkey; Filet Mignon; Striped Bass; Short Rib; Lamb Chops; Roasted Chicken; or Seared Scallops, Dessert (choice of one) – Pumpkin Cheesecake or Bananas Foster Bread Pudding. Note from Dusty, he has spent several Thanksgivings at Catal and highly recommends it. Great food and a pretty Downtown Disney view.
- Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen (Reservations Recommended) Slow-roasted Turkey with Andouille Dressing, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Roasted Autumn Vegetables, Apple-Cranberry Chutney, and Giblet Gravy, Kid’s Turkey with Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, and Gravy, Praline Pecan Pie with Caramel Drizzle, Candied Pecans, Chantilly Cream. One more note from Dusty, this is also a great option. Less formal, but with full-flavored options.

- Black Tap Craft Burgers & Shakes The Thanksgiving Burger – Turkey burger with brie, applewood smoked bacon, corn and sage potato roll stuffing, cranberry, and orange aioli, Pumpkin Pie Shake – vanilla frosted rim with mini marshmallows topped with a slice of pumpkin pie, turkey marzipan lollipop, whipped cream, and a cherry
- Salt and Straw Roasted Peach and Sage Cornbread Stuffing ice cream, Salted Caramel Thanksgiving Turkey ice cream, and Spiced Goat Cheese and Pumpkin Pie ice cream
Pro Tips
Thanksgiving tends to draw large crowds to the Disneyland Resort, so we recommend making reservations at restaurants that offer that service. Some other tips include:
- Checking back frequently for cancellations if you are unable to initially secure a reservation time
- If you need to change your reservation time, talking to a cast member the day of your reservation may increase the odds that your change can be accommodated. Keep in mind that changing a reservation time is never an easy task, but speaking with a cast member on the morning of your reservation day will allow a bit more flexibility.
- Have too many FastPasses stacked up and can’t afford to take time for a sit-down meal? No problem! Disney’s Festival of Holiday’s is currently happening in California Adventure and is the perfect place to grab a few festive snacks while you are en route to the next attraction on your list. Be sure to read our Festival of Holidays guide for more information.
Disneyland’s Festival of Holidays Brings Eats and Entertainment Treats
- Be aware of reservation cancellation deadlines and the penalties that could come with a cancelation. Many restaurants will punish late cancellations (for Thanksgiving reservations they seem to be asking for a 72-hour cancellation notice), so make sure to keep those rules in mind when booking.
- If you need help or have questions regarding your reservation, contact Disney Dining by calling (714)-781-DINE.
