Aulani, a Disney Resort and Spa, in Hawaii sure has gotten quite a few new merchandise collections of late. Previously, there was the Aloha Sunny Days Collection (seen in our Aulani Update) and now guests have three new collections to look forward to. In fact, the first two featured are already available! Here’s a closer look at what’s in stores and what’s to come.
Aulani Resort Collection
The patterns used in this first collection resemble the ferns and other plant life found on the Hawaiian islands. The collection features several different botanical-inspired patterns, like the one seen on the dress and Aloha shirt below. There is apparel for the whole family in this design, making it perfect to attend the KA WA’A Luau in style.
Continuing the floral pattern, you can find ferns and flowers on this Resort-exclusive ear headband. There have been several other Aulani headbands with a similar style with the two flowers by the ear. There is a hidden Mickey in each of the headband’s blooms.
This Loungefly mini backpack and wallet (as well as several items) feature a vibrant leaf print pattern. And the Mickey and Minnie plushes are also new.
Wishables
News of an Aulani-exclusive Wishables series was shared on social media just yesterday but has since been removed. The post said that this new series was now available at the resort. It includes Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Chip, Dale, a Mickey Musubi (a favorite resort snack) and a Mickey-eared Shave Ice (also a snack option at Aulani). It is not clear which one or ones are the chasers.
CookieAnn (Formerly Known as Cookie)
The collection I am most excited about is not at Aulani just yet, but Disney has confirmed that CookieAnn, a friend of Duffy, will be arriving soon. CookieAnn was originally named Cookie when she made her debut at Hong Kong Disneyland last year. Her name was changed to mesh better with the other girl’s names in the group (ShellieMay and StellaLou).
The exact date of her arrival and what items of hers will be available at Aulani are currently unknown. But she’s also arriving at Shanghai Disneyland as well as at Tokyo DisneySea. There is more information on those two locations here.
