For Universal Studios Hollywood, winter is filled with warm Butterbeer, dogs with antlers, and giant Christmas trees. And from November 28 through December 29, guests can look forward to limited-time festivities around the theme park, all included with the price of admission.

Christmas in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is already magical but toss in the spirit of the holiday season and you get something extra-special. The town of Hogsmeade is decked out in winter finery, with the decor themed to each storefront. And let’s not forget the food! A seasonal favorite, warm Butterbeer, makes a return appearance along with other holiday-themed favorites.
The toasty beverage will help keep guests cozy as they watch “The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle,” a nighttime light show. Daytime entertainment includes the fan-favorite Frog Choir, who will croak out a series of holiday-inspired ditties.
Hogsmeade’s stores will stock special limited-time merchandise during this season as well. Expect to see a Hogwarts Castle snow globe, a house pennant garland, and a special tree topper. In terms of ornaments, guests will find ones that resemble the Hogwarts crest as well as mascot ones representing the school’s four houses.
Grinchmas
This year, guests will be treated to an all-new “Grinchmas” tree, standing 65 feet high and covered with LED lights. Nearby, an opportunity to take pictures with the Grinch and his trusty pup, Max, will be hosted. And every night, a “tree-lighting” takes place, complete with a flurry of snow.
Other Holiday Events
Decor adorns the Minions’ Super Silly Fun Land as well as Universal CityWalk. The latter will also feature a 40-foot high Christmas tree, covered with over 200,000 LED icicles. The light in these icicles is choreographed to “dance” along with the many free concerts planned for the season.
