Welcome to the jungle!A new sand sculpture in front of the park promotes this year’s DisneyNature movie, Monkey Kingdom.
Some walls are still up at the Discovery Island landing.But, many walls have come down, and the area feels much wider and open than it did before.New planters and paving at the gift shops as soon as you enter.
The Tree of Life should have a refurb coming up to install some enhancements for the park’s nighttime offerings.
Still nothing to see from the inside of the park for Avatar, but the show building is visible from the parking lot and keeps getting bigger and bigger.Work continues on the new Starbucks location.Walls near the entrance to Africa.
Walls are still up near the entrance to the Pangani Forest trail for the new Harambe marketplace.Also near the walkway to Asia for the same marketplace project.
Seems to be some land work near the Gibbon exhibit.
Kali River Rapids is open again and had a posted 80 minute wait on a hot Florida day.
The queue for Kali is quite beautiful.More land being moved around for Rivers of Light.These walls will be here for quite some time.

Expedition Everest turned nine years old the other week. Now if they could just fix that Yeti…
Walls up near the Finding Nemo side of the Rivers of Light construction.
Many of the walls came down near Flame Tree BBQ, again revealing wider pathways.The restaurant is still closed though.
Some new building is going up here.Another look at the wideness of the path over by Flame Tree.That’s it for this week!
