Hello all. This week we are visiting Universal Orlando Resort, as we have a bunch of pictures and news to share from these rapidly changing parks. Let’s get started!
Welcome to Universal!Cowfish is now open for lunch. So is Antojitos!
Welcome to Islands of Adventure!
It is Spring Break time here in Orlando and the sun is bright and hot.
The big story this week is the crowds. Spider-Man had an 80 minute wait at about 11:30am – Busy!Captain America says hi!
Popeye and Bluto are splashing again after a recent refurbishment.
The next few photos are from the lagoon area near Popeye and Bluto, which I think is a very underrated section of the park.
The construction of the new King Kong attraction near Jurassic Park is moving rapidly, with more steel and more rock work being installed.
Jurassic Park River Adventure just reopened after a brief refurbishment. Here are some photos from on the ride!
Hogwarts looks absolutely beautiful with nearby trees in bloom.
Hello Hogsmeade.
Forbidden Journey had a 75 minute posted wait.
You know it’s busy when Dragon Challenge is 45 minutes.
After a ride on the Hogwarts Express, it’s time to enter London.Leaky Cauldron has a new sign outside of Diagon Alley.
Big crowds meant an outdoor queue for the Diagon Ollivander’s, which is quite rare.75 minutes for Gringotts, and the single rider line was closed because it was full.
60 minutes of waiting to head back to Hogsmeade on the Hogwarts Express. There was even a line to take a photo with Jaws! And a line out the door to get burgers!Transformers was posted at 60 minutes.I’m really glad Universal kept this store that sells older movie memorabilia.
Mardi Gras is in full swing with all the bars and specialty food in the New York area.Blues Brothers performing here instead of their normal location.
A little more than halfway done. What is this, the Magic Kingdom Hub? 😉Cool to see them still do some TV tapings in the park. That’s it for this week!
