Hello, and welcome to Dateline Disney World! This week, there are lots of things happening at the Magic Kingdom, and we have lots of pictures to share with you. The massive central hub project is really starting to come together. We’ll show you how it’s all shaping up.
Welcome to the Magic Kingdom! As you can see, there is a new safety rail at the Train Station here. It’s still possible to get fun shots of the floral though, so no big deal.
The Barber Shop is down for refurbishment.Scrims still up on Main Street.I love the details on Center Street.
Parts of the central Hub area are still torn up. More on that in just a bit. There is still a crane up at the castle, and it seemed like they were patching up some of the tallest turrets.Snatched an early FP+ for the Mine Train, so we had to take advantage.
The views of New Fantasyland are great from the Mine Train.
The moat is now filled back in around the center of the park.Control towers are still walled off.
Walt and Mickey are still boxed up.Water! This area sure looks better with the waterways filled back in.
Lots of work being done to get these new Fastpass+ viewing areas finished.
On the west side of the Hub, there is new artificial turf installed on what is the Fastpass+ West viewing side.I really like this new angle.
Lots of new plants and flowers planted.
Up close on some of the new plants.Rumors are swirling that the Adventureland Verandah restaurant is coming back. I’d love for that to happen.
Some scrims still up in Adventureland.Island Supply now has a permanent sign, no longer a banner.
Mermaid continues its refurbishment.
Uptown Jewelers recently had one of its rooms converted to sell nothing but Pandora jewelry. Here’s the room that wasn’t touched for comparison. The new room. Kind of bland, not very inspired.Heading out.Until next time!
