Christmas Season Lights Up Disneyland Paris
by Alain Littaye
The Christmas season has arrived at Disneyland Paris, and we have some wonderful photos thanks to Max, D&M contributor and DLPWelcome webmaster.
This year’s Christmas offerings exceed last year’s thanks to Steve Davison’s Disney Dreams of Christmas castle projection show plus a great Christmas parade!
We’ll start off with some photos of the Christmas parade as well as a HD video. Along with castle show, this is not to be missed! Thanks to the addition of a new float themed on a sweets and spices theme with Clara and Daisy in the kitchen, this parade adds a bit of American tradition! The parade is played three times during the day. During the last performance in the evening, you’ll enjoy artificial snow – the view on Main Street is magnificent.
And here is the video of the full Christmas parade!
DLP guests can enjoy Disney character meet and greets starting with a very charming Merida…
and Snow White…
…Rapunzel…
…Jack in his Christmas costume…
…and of course, Anna and Elsa. You better be patient if you want to meet them – the wait time on a recent Sunday was five hours!
The Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration is always a grand moment!
The Disney Dreams of Christmas castle show has been designed perfectly by Steve Davison and his team. Of course Frozen has more sequences in the show, but there is a nice Toy Story sequence as well and an “It’s a Small World” sequence. Fireworks and fountains add to the action, and the whole thing is definitely a not-to-be-missed show if you visit DLP during this Christmas season!
Enjoy the show and watch the video below in 1080p definition, and full screen!
